Total bait-and-switch scam for free entry. Their website and automated text system explicitly promise a free admission pass if you text PKHTX to 404404. However, because I chose to park my own car in a nearby residential area instead of paying for their valet service, the door staff retaliated. When I showed them my valid text pass, they gaslit me, claiming "nothing is free" and making up a fake "only free before 2 AM" rule on the spot to force a cash cover charge. When I pointed out the promotion is on their website, the manager told me to call the number listed online--which is a completely dead line that goes straight to voicemail. If you don't pay their valets, they'll make up door rules to extort the money from you anyway. Avoid this place. To my Google review response the business is lying in their response to save face. They never even asked for my physical ID; the valet just looked at my phone, froze up, and denied entry before I could even pull it out. read more

The place was empty w maybe 2 dancers total, one kept pestering me to buy drink for everyone on staff. I kept saying no but she kept at it and even asked the staff members if they wanted a drink. I ordered chicken strips and was served a half empty plate. They corrected it but it was very disappointing. Staff was lackadaisical. After I ate, the same girl was back at it, insisting that I buy everyone a round, so I left. She was pulling on my wrist as I exited the building. It gets even better. The valet kid was setting up while I was inside, so he was mad that my car was inside his valet space. He started banging on my car with his fist as I was trying to GPS my way back to the hotel. Visit date: October 25, 2025 I opened a tab and my card was kept behind the bar. We were at the venue for about 1 hour 15 minutes and had roughly three drinks. My friend paid the tab separately at the end of the night and my card was returned. I later realized my wallet had dropped out of my jacket pocket and was left behind, which is when the problems started. Afterward I discovered very large card charges on my statements from a merchant name I do not recognize, "ELITE40 CONSULT." On my RBC Mastercard, two transactions posted on Oct 27, 2025 for $9,559.10 and $4,332.63. I did not authorize these. On my American Express, there was an additional $3,623.00 charge I did not authorize. There were also attempts on two other Visa cards that had been in my wallet. The one card that was returned to me that night was even tried for additional transactions, but those attempts were declined because the card was over its limit. Unfortunately, on other cards my banks approved over-limit authorizations, so more charges went through. I reported everything immediately to my banks. A Houston Police Department report is on file: #145843125M, and investigations are ongoing. I am sharing this so others can double-check their statements and keep cards in view at all times. $40 for valet, $40 to get in, you have to buy something in order to be able to sit at the bar or you have to buy a hookah lounge. So if you don't want a lounge or a drink, get ready to just stand. They make you buy 2 drinks every time you go in to get a new dance on top of paying $35 for the dance and they charged $46 the first time and $16 the second time just for water. After another 5 minutes the waitress gives me a stack of singles and let's me know "it's $90", if they take out $10 that's fine , but why tell me AFTER trying to steal $30? Btw they gave $89 the second time. I tried to brush it off but the waitress interrupted me and a dancer planning to do a lap dance to let me know there was a two drink minimum, even tho I asked for 2 Red Bulls.. the dancer tried to order a drink but this place was too scummy, we had to leave. Visited Pole Katz of the several strip clubs in Houston because we are unfamiliar with Houston. (Obviously.) When we went inside around 2am. Paid $30 a person just to get in when we had called earlier & the person I spoke to on the phone said it was only $20. The person at the front desk when we arrived (who might've, in fact, been the same person) said after 2am it's $30! (That was never mentioned over the phone & as far as we can see, it doesn't say it online either. Must be in the fine print.) Nevertheless, it was only $30 & we were out-of-town, & it was my girl's Bday. So we went inside. ...And it was dead. ...Probably a dozen guests or so, & a handful of dancers, most of which were - for lack of better terms - "not what we're used to in Florida." After ordering a couple rounds of drinks & a hookah. We looked around at the selections. My girl was unimpressed. (No offense to the ladies. I'm sure it must be hard working as a stripper & having to always be on-point with your body. However, at the same time, I would never applied to be a model, if I couldn't uphold the standard physically. In the same, in order for athletes to remain as such, they have to train almost daily! Then again, after visiting this place, the company itself probably doesn't have any standards.) So, I asked her if she liked any of them & she pointed out the only two girls she cared for. After one of them were done dancing for some other guests & walking passed us, I approached her & asked if she'd do the honors of giving my girl her first (& ultimately it would be her ONLY...) birthday lap dance! She smile & said something to the affect of, "of course!" She was gorgeous, great attitude, incredible body & she knew how to dance. (She was the girl from Toronto - light-skinned with dark hair - & ended up dancing for us & chilling with us the rest of our stay. We must've thrown her $400 - in addition to spending another $500 on hookah & drinks - & we gave her some of our champagne.) We finally started having fun because the birthday girl was finally having fun herself. About an hour before closing, they started plying techno! ..Since when do strippers twerk to techno!? Hahahaa! I'm sure that was just to influence paying guests to leave, or prepare to leave before closing. Smh. But my girl wanted me to get a lap dance, so after a while of the nonsense & with only about 15 minutes left, I asked the stripper if she would give me a lap dance if I could get the DJ to change the music to something more appropriate. She gladly obliged. Unfortunately, though, the DJ was no longer at his booth. So, I found a manager on the floor & asked him if he could change the music so I could get a final dance & we would be sure to leave on-time. He said the DJ left, but he would ask "his boss." He disappeared for about 5 or 10 minutes & then I noticed him back on the floor walking around. Instead of coming to his paying guest to inform him that he cared about my concern but couldn't accommodate, he just ignored me & waited until I approached him again. Of course, he said, his boss said, "no." So what did we do? Took our time leaving & stayed an extra 10-15 minutes after closing just to be petty. Lol. I was a little upset that I didn't get a dance, especially because we still had 15-minutes when I asked, & a song is generally 3-4 minutes. ..But I was just happy the birthday girl had fun, so I didn't cause a commotion. Only reason I'm giving this place 2-stars instead of 1 is because we loved the dancer (forgot her name) who gave my girl her birthday lap-dance. But we will never return to this strip club due to the lack of quality dancers (none of which approached our table to even see if we needed a dance or anything before I went & the one who danced for us), & the poor hospitality exercised by the management team, including the issue regarding the change in price at the door. (That, too, falls on management.) ...Having had that experience & seeing these other reviews, I'm estimating Pole Katz won't make it another 5 years. Any bets? It's worst to be treated bad after being an VIP member. 2 ladies - Austin and Gemini started using bad words for me for nothing. I had already given each 20$ and I think they were on drugs.
