They packed our entire house very quickly, protected all the furniture, and got everything to our new house and unloaded by 4pm despite Dallas traffic. Here is mine: Weeks before moving day, I was quoted 3 men for 3 hours, and then an additional hourly rate if over 3 hours. I had a notepad for all details of my move and I know I wrote this quote as it was originally told to me over the phone. On the day of my move, I was presented paperwork to sign that showed the rate was for 3 men for 2 hrs. NOT cool! The guys were on time and got everything moved with no damage - in 2 hours. Thank God, because I was NOT happy with the quote discrepancy. * GET YOUR QUOTE IN WRITING -- before committing to anything! The Policeman movers are very unprofessional. They left wet waters bottles on my hardwood floors. I have dents in my walls on all of my furniture and hardwood stairs. When they pack with the plastic wrap it does not mean that your furniture will be protected it is just easy for them the haul. I have very old furniture pieces that has been in my family for generations and now I have a broken leg on one piece and big gash on several pieces. Twice! Not once but twice! WIthin the past 3 months, Policeman Movers has helped me move my Dad (from house to assisted living then from assisted living to nursing home) as his health started failing fast. WIth all the other decisions I had to make for him, this was the easiest and best decision. The 2 men were the same guys both times. They remembered me & my dad and did a great job. Both moves were small & the 2nd one included moving a big fat heavy recliner to the nursing home and the rest to my house so that was an additional sto for them. Professional, courteous and they had a great sense of humor. No damage either time. Man are they ever fast! Both times, I had furniture and boxes to move. Both times, I was tired and cranky. The best part? Both times were emergency moves that I was not prepared to undertake. I called both times with very short timelines and they were able to fit me in. I reserved a twenty five foot moving vehicle and three movers for a Saturday morning. Curtis said they would be there at nine in the morning and would be done when I said they were done. I have used professional movers in the past, which have damaged my furniture and overcharged. So to say the least I was skeptical. The crew arrived at eight fifty eight, and after a brief review of charges, was loading by seven minutes after nine. The crew didn't slow down until I bought pizza. Then they paused only long enough to quickly eat and get back on the job. I never saw any of them texting, make a phone call, or step out for a smoke. They treated my possessions like they were their own. They wrapped, padded, and covered everything valuable. A guy named Moses did the loading. Moses left no space unfilled. A true professional. I have found no damage on anything. The demeanor of this crew was pleasant, happy, joking, and very respectful. It was a joy to have them in my home. They made two full loads when I called it quits. They finished packing up, paperwork, and thanked me for my business. I would highly recommend this company. If I ever move again I will use Policeman Movers. read more

These movers do not care about your property. Last year they moved my wife across town. They loaded the trailer backwards from what we suggested and thus cause all kinds of issues when trying to unload and the new house since what needed to go in first was in the front of the trailer. They dinged the garage door frame multiple times which had to be redone and painted. They decided to move the trailer from the front door entrance to the garage. So.....why not just pull thru the yard, yes drive the truck into the yard about 15 ft., leaving ruts and breaking off a sprinkler head which I did not know until a few weeks later when I purged the system to get ready for watering in the summer. Upon filling the trailer, the door would not close, so one man held the trailer locking handle while the other kicked the door until enough stuff bent, crushed, broke or moved to secure it. They also broke a cement bird bath that had been put in the back of truck. Never will recommend them. Gave 2 stars because they didn't have to come back and mess up more property. read more

I have used these guys MANY times over the last few years. My daughter used them last week for her move across town to her new house. It was the same guys that came about a year ago... which says a lot in the moving industry! They were on time, courteous, and very helpful. They were careful with everything, and these guys don't slack... they really hustle so the job is not drawn out and costs extra because of the movers being slow. Worst moving experience ever!! Hired them to move us from our four bedroom house in Keller, into storage until our new house was ready. They manged to break off a sprinkler head on the sold house right off the bat while opening their trailer and then hid it. They poked several holes in the stairwell walls as well as knocked a light cover off the stairwell light. They didn't wrap half the furniture when moving it and my furniture has scars on it now from rubbing in the truck. Then they proceeded to try and jam a dolly under a brand new set of shelves and broke the legs off. Then proceeded to tell me it was water damaged. When we finally moved out of storage to our new house we could not find the bed rails to one of our beds and called them up. They admitted they had them and were in the back bed of their pickup truck where they had been since they moved us. Didn't even have the decency to call us and tell us. Very unprofessional crew and moved us like a two man wrecking crew. Do NOT use them unless you want your stuff broken. read more
