Absolutely avoid this postal service at all costs. Every single parcel sent from the UK to the US was lost. No tracking, no updates, no accountability. Once your item is handed over, it effectively disappears into a black hole. There is zero visibility, zero responsibility, and zero customer care. International delivery with no tracking in this day and age is unacceptable. When things inevitably go wrong, there is no way to trace parcels, no meaningful support, and no resolution. Just generic responses and complete indifference while your goods -- and money -- vanish. This service is unreliable, outdated, and unfit for international shipping. If your delivery matters in any way, do not use this postal service. Spend a little more and use a courier that actually delivers parcels instead of excuses. AWOID. read more

Horrible customer service. One person working the counter, 6 customers waiting in line and the one girl working was literally chit chatting away seemingly oblivious to the other 6 customers. Waited 15 minutes, still on the first customer and left. Wouldn't recommend going here unless you have an hour or more to burn. read more

I was moving and had boxes that weren't going to fit in my small car. After many mover quotes I called Global Post which I use on a regular basis. I gave Jessica the dim of a box, the weight and Jessica gave me estimates which sounded doable. I loaded up my car and Rae assisted me with 23 boxes! Very affordable and within my budget! I'm extremely happy with this decision! I would ship this way again! Yesterday I did an inventory. I'm missing three boxes. Have had multiple issues with this so called postal place. From not enough postage to them not weighing my items correctly. I bring my business envelopes in to be weighed and have the correct postage put on them. But they come back to me reading not enough postage or undeliverable. Then when I complain about this on the phone they say we will give refund no problem and it's their fault but then I go in and it's a different story, they say they can't. Absolutely pathetic. Avoid at all costs. Would be faster to have items delivered on foot. Pay hundreds for priority shipping and customer has been waiting a month for goods that usually take 8-10 business days from California to Canada through priority mail. According to the goods vendor, (who has had multiple complaints from international customers and was forced to investigate the issue), USPS has recently partnered w/ Global post for international deliveries and it has been horrible. Will, without question use an alternate freight service moving forward. This company will loose you business if time is a concern. Tracking indicates packages bouncing around and arriving at "carrier facilities" multiple times per day and never leaving cities for days at a time. The routing is completely illogical as well. Better than the post office because if you want to ship a package or envelope you can choose: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. That's a lot of options! Plus the people who work here aren't jaded like typical government workers. It has a rustic chic feel because you can buy candies, rustic decor, hallmark cards, and even rent a PO box. I use to use this place regularly, however if you get there right before they close, they won't assist you(even though they are still open) complete waste of a drive. Got there a few mins before they closed and they told me no they can't do anything even though they were not closed. read more

People here are so nice but I had a small package shipped with USPS for $18.90 for 6-10 day shipping. I thought USPS would be cheapest but after stopping by UPS the next day for something else, they said they could've shipped it for $12 for 4 day shipping! Even USPS website had that I could ship that same package priority for $7 and I didn't even get priority at this shop. I wish I had just taken it to UPS or USPS office and had it shipped. Now I wasted money and my Christmas present won't get to family in time for Christmas. Giant rip off unless you want to spend a ton of extra money for the convenience. read more

The absolute worst service I have experienced in a long time. I didn't even want to use Global Post, but was forced to by Stamps.com. Last package was shipped on Feb 2. Global Post held it for almost 2 weeks. Then, instead of putting it on a plane they decide to give it to the USPS for processing. My customers are irate. Don't waste your time or money. read more

If your an Etsy seller don't use this company. Every single package they add weight to and charge you extra. My last package I took the the USPS and had them weight and measure it. It was exactly what my label was for and then just like all the other packages global post added weight to the package and then charged me $17.34 more. I now refused all orders with Global Post. My international customer must use Fedex or the USPS. I have my receipt for the last package from the USPS and proof it weighed what I said. I had several packages and a bunch of wedding envelopes to ship. The girl working was very helpful and even offered to put the stamps on all my envelopes for me. This was WAY faster than the Post Office! It's a great little shop with a lot of small gifts and decorative envelopes and stuff. I came in to quickly scan and email a document to myself...I would've done this at home but my scanner is broken & I needed to get this out on a Saturday. First and foremost this place is super overpriced!! they actually wanted to charge me close to $2 per page to scan something and email it to myself. The customer service rep didn't even know how to work the scanner! When I asked why they charge so much, she said "that's what they charge the owner"...um, false. I have 2 leased copiers at work and work with small business owners on a daily basis...if that's what they're charging the owner, they're gettin ripped off too! After seeing the Customer service rep fumble around, I decided to take my business else where. Normally I'm all for supporting small businesses, but don't screw your customers over. read more

Well I've only used Global Post a few times and not intentionally. For some reason my Stamps.com account got switched over and Global Post was my only option for my international orders. The first box I needed to ship to a customer in Canada from my location in North Carolina has now ended up in Ireland and the second package going to Canada is now stuck in New Jersey. read more

I'm a little confused by the reviews posted so far. I feel people have a lot of misconceptions when it comes to shipping and its cost to do so. Packing and having something protected actually costs money (wow shocking!). The $1 /piece of tape review is crazy, and while I also had something packaged and shipped I discovered that it was only $1 to tape my entire box, not per each piece of tape. This leads me to believe that the person did not understand what she was paying for. Now, I also understood that I had to pay for peanuts and bubble wrap since I brought nothing with me, but my item, which was decent size. This was all reasonably priced as well, and expected. The store is very convenient and super cute inside. It was refreshing to go somewhere other than USPS or UPS where you just wait in a huge line for a grumpy customer service rep to irritatingly help me. Instead, at Global Post I was greeted by a very friendly welcome with great customer service. I was quickly helped as soon as I arrived, and was pleasantly surprised by the great small gifts also available for sale. I was able to peruse the store while my box was packaged, and I ended up purchasing a candle that is also sold at Anthropologie, but at a great discount compared to Anthropologie's price! This definitely made my day, since its one of my favorite candles! After purchasing that and paying a great price for shipping my item, I left feeling very satisfied. I will absolutely be returning here, as its amazingly more convenient and friendlier than the major shipping chains (ups, us postal service etc.). Terri is always so pleasant and eager to help. Super convenient for our business in the Alliance Town Square. Cute and affordable gifts to add on for holidays. I've been in several times and the service is consistent. (I keep a stash of USPS boxes at home and this gets great rates that beat FEDEX everytime.) You can drop off UPS, too if pre-labeled and they'll get it out! Shredding service is helpful too. Be careful backing out of your parking spot, though... the yogurt customers don't look. read more

Global post is my Go-To place when I need something sent. The customer service is awesome. Everyone is willing to help you find the cheapest and fasted way to send something. I love how they have a computer monitor that you can see and double check if names and address are correct. Once my children were asleep in the car, and I was able to send a package through the front door. I just gave them my package, the address and money. I was able to send the package without waking my kids up. Awesome place! read more

I have to say, that when this shipping store opened it was wonderful! Made shipping packages so easy. I ship packages every two weeks. The people at the store have gotten progressively unfriendly. I usually bring my own boxes, but in the occasion I didn't they refused to let me use free USPS priority mail boxes and envelopes. They have also started charging way more for everything. When I first started going there, priority mail was only $2 more than what the post office charges. Now, the fees for shipping priority have increased to more than $4 per package. The times that the postal carrier picks up varries. For the past year they were picking up after 4:00. Today I was informed by a very unfriendly girl that the postal carrier had already picked up and that my packages would go out tomorrow...when I asked what happened to the afternoon pickup, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "well, they already picked up today. They usually come early." Wrong, in my history with your store, I have always had my package picked up in the afternoon! With so many other shipping options in my area, I will avoid Global Post at all costs!!! read more

READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY! Global Post International is provided by Stamps.com. Stamps.com pushes this service even when you request to be removed from the menu of options in the stamps.com account. I lost around 3K on disputes from customers claiming the package was not received. this company does not provide the customer address on the label which makes it impossible for you can prove to your customer you shipped to the correct address. They use the USPS tracking number combined with its own tracking number which does not disclosure the customer address but a facility in NJ mostly where the package will land and then is handled multiple times even by individuals in a very questionable way by Global Post.com Some packages will get another (3rd) tracking number (?) and then continue the dark transit until they are posted as delivered, It will be impossible for you to get a proof, copy, or document that show the address the package was delivered. Global Post will not provide you with a document revealing the customer's address. The label always is shipped to a facility in NJ and of course, no person in this world will take seriously your shipment. You are in trouble! Discovering you are trapped in this process will steal you lots of hours over the phone dealing with stamps.com and global post ( the same company) and an immense frustration that easily can be avoided by using another provider. read more

Very disappointed ! I mailed graduation gift to our twin nephew's . They only received two of the four items that global post boxed for us. I was a little uneasy the day I mailed the items because the person that boxed it didn't seal the box before I left. When I called Global Post the Manager was not helpful at all . Kept asking if I was sure the other two items were in the box. Did they fall out in the car and so on. When I asked what their protocol was when this happens she said they didn't have one as this has never happened. Worst of all she didn't know when she would have time to view video because they were very busy . No sense of urgency in looking into what possibly could have happened. Also FYI they have no camera in the back room where they finish boxing things up. I do not feel that the manager had my best interest at heart.
