We thought we may have a water leak in an upstairs bathroom that was showing some discoloration on the ceiling below. Oleksii came out and spent time assessing the situation and thought it might be the toilet that was leaking. Two days ago, both our bath tubs started to clog badly. I contacted Polis Plumbing and they responded right away. Came out the following day and for whatever reasons, couldn't figure out how to unclog the tubs. Emil never gave up, even when it was 8pm (they arrived at 4:30ish). When we finally decided to replace the RO, he honored the quote he provided previously which was very reasonable for the install. We purchased the system and he sent a plumber to do the install. My husband was home that day and he said the plumber was on time and got the job done meticulously. My husband asked about our toilet on the second floor and the plumber adjusted some of the settings which fixed the issue (and saved us money on replacing the entire toilet). Outstanding communication and service from Emil of Polis, for replacing my shut off valves and replacing my water heater. Initially, I received a quote from Polis to come out to replace my shut off valves to change from a gate valve to a quarter turn ball valve. I was also in the market for a water heater and had quotes from other companies so I asked them if they'd take a look and provide a quote for that as well. Emil was able to advise me on a Bradford White water heater, which was the brand I had researched as the best in quality and reputation. He also included an external expansion tank, which the other companies didn't have in their estimates. Overall, I received great value for replacing both, and Emil replaced a leaking faucet to boot, and upgraded the PVC to copper piping and insulated the piping as well. Had a great experience with them today. Called them out for a leak in my main irrigation. Unfortunately I need to call a leak detector company because the pipes are quite buried and I don't exactly know where the leak is, but Oleksii spent a good amount of time testing things and even climbed up the big hill in my backyard where there were some irrigation system boxes. It was also nice to see a company come out for free estimates rather than needing to pay upwards of $100 just to step foot on the property like so many other companies. Emil came to my house today to install a water softener to replace a salt-free water softener I had been using for the past 5+ years which wasn't really doing anything. I contacted multiple providers about this project including having a Culligan representative come to my home. Emil was the only plumber I was able to find in the area who was willing to work with a softener that I purchased and provided, but his price for the Puronix softener he provided was competitive enough ($1k less than all the other quotes I received) that I went with his recommendation instead of purchasing my own. Emil showed up on time, did a good installation job, and cleaned up well. All for the agreed upon price. The work looks great, and we have soft water now. Oleksii from Polis Plumbing came to check on my complaint of water knock. He spent half an hour, at no charge, to check on the possible causes. After checking throughout the house, he narrowed it down to possibly needing a new pressure gauge. He did not try to sell me on a new one immediately. He told me of some things that could be done to further narrow down the cause. He took one action today. If that does not eliminate the knocking, he told me another step I could take. If that also doesn't work, then I should get a new pressure gauge. How refreshing to work with someone who tries to do what is best for you, explains the options clearly and doesn't charge for the visit. This is why I have often used Polis Plumbing and will be calling them if it turns out that I need a new pressure gauge. read more

They're fast, efficient, and do high quality work. We've had them out several times to replace a sink, some toilets, and a few leaky valves. Worth every dime and highly recommended. Update: had them out again to replace all our shutoff valves, install a hot water pump, and an expansion tank. They do their usual excellent work quickly (so our water wasn't off too long). I v hired two plumbers to fix/identify/replace my unit. The first plumber was just un educated in the matter but claimed that he knew. Second plumber was also not as knowledgable had to babsit this plumber on opening up tankless water heater.
