TL;DR Salon had racist behavior and uncleanly practices. so i've been coming here a while. this last time i come back for a mani pedi. this is the first time they remember who i am which was nice. but first thing that throws me off is that they asked me to PAY BEFORE the service was done( for context im mexican). They have asked me to pay before the service once in the past but this second time I said something because i thought this was very strange, border line racist behavior. i ask if this is a new policy and that i would like to pay at the end so i can tip based on the service. they didn't push it and accepted. when the white teen girl next to me was done she got up to pay which tells me they never ask her to pay beforehand. the rest of the time im here im uncomfortable. Secondly, i was watching the nail tech exfoliate my feet she drops the exfoliating sponge ON THE FLOOR then picks it back up to scrub the rest of my feet. there was absolutely no shame. it made me feel really disgusting and i was too nervous to say anything after the payment incident. Today I came back for an acrylic fill mani with Mia. I think that she did a PHENOMENAL job at recreating my inspo pic! I absolutely adore my nails. She was so precise with my french tips and her attention to detail is something really admirable ans optimal when getting your nails done! She was efficient but she clearly wasn't rushing the job and she asked me multiple times for input to make sure I liked them during the process. I think the price here is great and very reasonable in this economy, and they take walk ins which is super convenient (I always call before I head over though to be courteous and mindful of both mine and the manicurist's time)! I am going to keep coming back! I love my nails so much and the ladies are all very sweet. I'd recommend Polish for sure!!! read more

I'm so disappointed. This is the second salon I've tried in the past month and I don't think I'm asking for much. All I want is a nice acrylic set that isn't thick or uneven. I came to Polish Nails after moving back to Yorba Linda, excited to return since I used to love this place. But it has really changed. The girl who started my nails was doing a great job, but when it came time for the acrylic, Kim took over. She seemed rushed right away. My appointment was at 4:30, and she sat down around 5:15. They close at 6:30, and before she even started applying the acrylic, they were already mopping and cleaning up around me. I got my nails done just two hours ago and I already booked an appointment somewhere else to have them fixed on Friday because they are driving me crazy. Came with my Mom for pedicures before a bridal shower and loved it! We were able to make appointments easily. The chairs were nice and everything inside was very clean. All of the ladies were very kind and I appreciated they weren't pushing the upsells. The BEST part was me coming by a few days later; I wore open toed heels and smushed my new pedicure. They fit me in immediately and didn't want to charge me for the fix, so another tip instead. We'll keep coming back here for girl time. read more

Unfortunately I've given this place too many chances. The first time I came for dip powder, I didn't love my nails but didn't hate them either so I gave them another chance, and another, and now I'm finding a new nail salon. The last 2 times, my dip nails have cracked within the first 8 days. This last time I had 3 cracked nails after 5 days. I went in to repair them because it wasn't time for a full set, fully prepared to pay for the 3 nails since it had been almost a week. They took other walk ins before me so that the manager (who did not say a word to me the whole time) could help me. Well 3 days after that, my nails are peeling off. The entire top layer of those 3 nails is peeling. I've never had any of these issues before so I will be finding another salon. read more

First time at Polish and overall had a great experience The staff was friendly, and the salon was clean. They offered bottled water as I was sat down and were very attentive during the visit. I got a standard manicure with a standard pedicure. Per their menu, it was listed at $60 and I knew that there would be a slight upcharge as I did opt for gel Polish on my mani. However, they did not specify how much that additional charge would be up front and it wasn't until I paid that I realized it was an additional $8. I was of course happy to pay the additional charge however would have liked if they specified up front the amount. The mani pedi was done well, and I was super happy with the attention to detail. worst experience i've EVER had getting my nails done. i had a gel x removal and then a regular gel manicure. they removed the gel x very differently than other salons, soaking my whole hand in a plastic bag (no joke) full of acetone, drying out my skin. another red flag when i had to ask for the colors 4 times and didn't get to look at them until i stopped them right before bringing out the uv machine. i asked for a color, and it turned out that it was numbered wrong and they couldn't find it. so i picked out another color, and again "we don't have that one"... i ended up picking out 4 colors and they couldn't find any of them. i wasn't able to choose my color. the woman doing my nails gave me attitude for trying to find a 5th color they might have, and insisted on doing a different color i didn't even want. she went ahead and did them in that color. nails came out busted looking near the cuticles. atleast the experience is done. the salon was also very dirty and lots of workers eating at the same desks that they are taking in clients to do their nails. and yes! at the same time! awful experience, i especially can't believe they gave me an attitude for trying to find a color they actually had, and going ahead and doing a color i didn't want! read more

I even asked for another coat at the time of visit because the old actually was visible and didn't like the outcome but they refused. Don't believe all the positive reviews that you read. They are all fake. Not a clean place. Floor is dirty. Employees eating on the same work station that they do your nails at. They were not listening to what we wanted, and gave us an attitude when we explained again what we wanted. It's my first time and I felt obliged to write something because it was the smoothest and pleasant no-frills experience at this nail salon. I walked in on a whim for a pedicure overdue and just wanted a simple regular spa pedicure to clean up. I had a little regular polish on my toes to remove, which was done without additional charge (other places would charge for this). I wasn't pushed to do gel pedicure, which happens often with Viet aunties sucking their teeth in disapproval if you don't switch from regular to gel (and then they don't treat you as well as other clients because of you selected the more basic service). I was treated with respect, they went with exactly what I wanted. No frills here. I want to give a shoutout to Vivian because I was pleased with her work, I felt she went above and beyond in terms of service, I noticed her attention to detail, and she did the perfect round shape I love (a lot of places can't get it right). She still buffed my heels and soles for exfoliation even when I said I didn't feel the need for it, and the calf and foot massage she did was so relaxing! She took her time it along with everything she was doing. Vivian also made sure I stayed to allow her work on my toes to dry (it felt more like a passion in their art instead of just being another customer to bring in $) and refused to let me wear my sandals, bringing the usual slippers and a plastic bag to put my own sandals in. I was quoted $25 for regular pedicure when I walked in, I was charged exactly that without any surprise fees for all that service. I'm glad I walked in today. This will be my new place. I returned to that salon and ask them to shorten it and they said they would have to remove the entire set and redo it. That would be such a waste of time and money. Had a great experience here. Was on maternity leave trying to get my baby to come out naturally, so I decided to treat myself to an upgraded pedicure. Felt very safe covid-wise. They put me right next to the door so I would have easy access and minimal fumes (I was obviously very pregnant), and did a great job with my toes! They have plexiglass partitions and everyone is masked up. Very friendly ladies. My baby arrived on his own a couple days later so maybe that foot massage worked! So I've given this nail shop three tries and it's officially on my s*it list. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I had to with this place. First, the nail techs are in such a rush every time! I don't get it, every time I come here, there's no wait and no other customers after me! It's like they rush so they can sit around and do nothing. Second, one of the nail tech told me how "thin my cuticles are" then proceeded to cut my cuticles so deep that it bled. And she LAUGHED!!! Third, I've asked her multiply times to put the polish closer to the cuticle and nope, she didn't listen. Lastly, she didn't file my nails enough that it resulted in the most uneven, bumpy gel manicure I've ever gotten in my life. My manicure looks like a bubble manicure! Seriously, save your money and go to either Lavender Nail & Spa or Welcome Nail & spa. It costs about $3-$5 more but the quality is amazing. Wish I could've given this place a zero. read more

They are open!! The ladies at Polish did a wonderful job on my dip powder manicure and spa pedicure. Plexiglass partitions were installed between each nail station, plexiglass guards were also put up at the base of the foot basins. All staff wear appropriate PPE and sanitizer is plentiful.
