I really would like to know exactly how much a new acrylic full set, coffin shape, with a basic color like white is? I've come here about 3x and got the same service done each time with a basic color, but they always gave me a higher or lower price

How much is a new acrylic set with gel polish?

It all really depends on what you're lookin to get done. A basic color, can be about $30-$40 tip not included in that price. A little steep for some, but well worth the price. On average my nails last me on 3-4 for weeks.

Do they do dipping powder here? If so, are there a lot of color options?

Yes they do and yes they have plenty of options!

How much is it to take off acrylics?

$10 if you're just removing them. If you want them off and a fresh manicure then the take off price is $5 + manicure.

How much are matte nails?

No up charge/extra charge for Matte top coat. However, this is only for gell polish.

When she got home and showed me her nails, it was clear that the quality of the work did not reflect the $60 price tag or the nearly two hours spent at the salon. My daughter was especially upset because this was meant to be a special birthday treat. I brought her back to the salon and spoke with who I believe was the manager. I appreciated how quickly he addressed my concerns and had the technician correct the nails. While the second attempt looked better, the overall result looked ehh. I do want to recognize the manager for trying to make things right, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

I came here last week to get my nails done. I specifically asked them on the phone if they do SNS and they said yes so I booked the appointment. As soon as I got there they informed me that they do clear SNS and gel for the color in top because gel gives them more options for the colors... That defeats the purpose because he only reasons why I do SNS are: 1. It lasts longer than gel and 2. I don't like to have to put my hands under the UV or LED light. I had to have my nails done so I did it. It was a very good manicure but not what I wanted. They should have told me on the phone and they shouldn't have deceived me that way! At that point I had to have my nails done and didn't have time to go somewhere else. Unacceptable behavior and treatment to a customer! I'm not stupid!! Never going back again! I only gave them 2 stars because the complimentary mimosa was good. read more

Polished Bar Nail Salon is an absolute gem! I've been coming here since their opening and will never look back. I've been to countless nail salons, and I can confidently say that Polished Bar is by far the best. Jolie never fails me with her incredible skills and attention to detail--my nails always look flawless when she's done. Jolie is my favorite, HOWEVER, every single nail tech that has done my nails has always slayed them. We had such an amazing time here! I called for an appointment for 5 of us for a friends birthday and they were so accommodating! I asked if they served wine and beer since we were celebrating and they do serve some wine and cocktails but no beer... So, they asked what kind of beer we wanted and they went and bought us some! Now, that is service! This was only my second time going to this salon, the first time was great. This time not so much. The polish is very transparent, she should have done another layer of color. Also, I asked for her to use a builder gel, like they did last time, which I can tell she did not because my index nail broke the very next day. Very disappointed. The salon wasn't even busy when I went in, so they had every opportunity to take their time and not do such a rushed & crappy job. Waste of $50 since I'll have to get them redone. I have an AMAZING experience! I heard about this place by some of my friends who live in the area and their nails always looked amazing so I thought I'd give them a try and I am so happy I did! I should have paid attention to those red flags instead of brushing them off. So here's my warning: if you can't handle a customer respectfully bringing up a concern, maybe customer service isn't for you. I won't be returning to Peony Nail Lounge, and I personally would not recommend Julie or the salon. This is MY experience. Everyone can make their own decision, but I refuse to stay quiet when I feel I was treated unfairly.
