Service started off alight but deteriorated over time. Beds were left unmade, floors still had debris, and the products left a film on our counters. This lack of attention to detail made me question the level of cleanliness of other areas that they should have been attending to. The managers were friendly and responsive, but I just didn't have time to report issues week after week. We ended up canceling our service with them. read more

My first cleaning was beyond unsatisfying. Missed blinds, picture frames not dusted, an entire section of a glass shower door missed, blue cleaner spilled on a bath mat, wastebaskets not emptied, just to name a few. The kicker was having the long doormat from the laundry room to the garage left in place while being vacuumed and mopped around. Grass and dirt were under the mat, and the edges of the mat were soaked with water. They made that awful first cleaning right by giving me a refund and coming back for a complete re-clean. It was done very well and I was happy. However, the next 2 cleans were disappointing. They came 45 minutes after the 2-hour arrival window the first time. Both times water was underneath each and every item on the bathroom counters. Any cups, bottles, (face wash and contact lens solution), and soap bottles were sitting on top of pooled water. All 4 cups that hold my kids' toothpaste and toothbrushes had water in the bottom. Where all that water is coming from I don't know. I came home several hours after they left, (we have a Ring doorbell so I know exactly when they come and leave), and my thermostat had been set to hold at 69 degrees, down from the 73 we have it set at. It was noticeably cold. I feel like I gave this company plenty of chances and am now moving on. read more

Amazing service & company! I found them on Yelp, and am so glad they service my area! I was looking for deep clean service, and then somebody to clean my house monthly. I needed a company to clean my house (with very short notice) before a party i had on the weekend, and they were able to fit me in that same week! They even brought in multiple women to insure it get's done in a timely manner. One of the ladies even played with my dog outside for a minute - which means a lot because i was worried about him being outside in this hot weather (my choice for my pups to be outside - they didn't mind if the dogs were inside). They did an amazing job with the clean! I'm so glad i finally found a company that I trust to clean my home every month (and they bring their own cleaning supplies!). I was very excited because I thought I had finally found a good service because the initial person I talked to on the phone was very nice. However the first time they cleaned my house it smelt nice but it looked like the quick clean I do before guests come over. I noticed all of my stuff was in the exact same place as it was before they came--odd but let it go. Second time I came home to dust balls between my tv stand and wall, you could tell that the chairs under the kitchen table had not been moved to clean under, I took a bath to notice dust on my counters, and even a spot on my toilet. I called which I had doing because I never complain but there were too many things wrong. I let her send out her "A" team (shouldn't they all be "A" team?). I had to be home while they came out to reclean it. That is when I noticed that they use a swifter to clean the floors--disappointing, that is not the deep clean I want. These girls were very nice but while I was talking to them about how the other team didn't sweep or do anything under my kitchen table, I was shocked to see she didn't either. I am telling her my complaint and she still doesn't move the chairs. The reason all of my stuff was magically in the exact same place??? They do not move anything--and I hardly have any knickknacks. That and the swifter was it for me. I was able to talk my lady to make a longer drive and come help. She is cheaper and even does the microwave, and fold our clothes and does the best job I have ever seen. This company gives out coupons which is a great idea. To get the coupons they ask you to write a review. I believe that is why they have so many good reviews--people want the coupons---it's genius. I expected to be happy with Polished Cleaning Services, but I was not. The list of things they will not clean except for an extra fee is LONG. They are very technical about what they will not do. We accidentally left our breakfast dishes out. Did they put them in the dishwasher? No - they threw them in a precarous pile in the sink. That is just one small example. When I called to talk with them about leaving the back door open - yes, we came home and our house was unlocked, the owner was rude, snarky, and decided it could not have been them. The first time they arrived, I was there to greet them. The very first thing they did was dump a cannister full of vacuum trash from other people's houses in my kitchen trash! The clean was medeocre at best. The second clean, only one showed up. We found a cheap orange feather duster lying on the floor next to the couch in the living room. I hope the maid had a nice nap. At least someone got something postive out of this experience. read more

I was set up for regular cleaning services with Polished Cleaning Services while I was recovering from back issues. When I decided I was able to do more housework and call them more on a needed basis, I was very disappointed that they hiked my rate $50. This was an unreasonable price for a home my size so I had to discontinue using them. They were not willing to work with me on the price. read more

At first I really liked this company. Heather was the girl that came to my house. I liked that I had the same person and didn't have different people coming in every time. But then service began to go down. First it was a broken porcelain container I had since I was a child. They offered to pay for it but I said it was priceless and I didn't know how much it would even cost. Then it was a cracked stove. How does one crack a flat top stove?? But she did. At that point I was about to replace my stove with a gas top. However, that should not matter. I told the company since this was the second time they would have to pay for it and in full disclosure I told them I was about to replace it but had plans to sell it and knew this would affect it's value when I tried to sell. Big mistake as that almost immediately led to their trying to pay me less. The stove was two years old and they only offered to pay for the top. the price of the top itself was way less than what I could have sold it for. they did not offer to pay for the installation fee until I brought it up and then acted like "oops we didn't think of that!". They also found the lowest cost for the part that they could as well as cheapest installer. I gave them several links showing higher pricing and offered to average it out but they refused. heather was very apologetic and I really liked her and felt she did a good job overall. So I continued to use her as we had established a working relationship. I also had given her money a couple of times as gifts, $200 total, and because she told me she did private cleaning for way cheaper than what the company charged me, I referred her to several people. Two weeks ago, I was told she would not be able to come on her regular day and could she come that Saturday. I said sure and did not complain. When it happened again this last Friday however,I responded differently because I had already taken the sheets off my bed and put my dog out. I asked for either a discount or a free cleaning such as the refridgerater since if it were me cancelling I would have to pay for the service anyway. They refused. Instead they tried several times to get me to use someone else. They told me she was having personal problems. (is this my business??). I told them I didn't feel comfortable having a stranger come into my home when I had not met them yet and was at work and they would not budge. I ultimately fired them and said after she cleaned on Tuesday I would not be using them. Because I knew she had personal issues and a child to raise, and because I liked her, I texted her and offered her a job. She told me she wasn't allowed to. I understood and moved on, hired someone else. For some reason, she felt it necessary to tell them, in spite of all I had done for her, and told them. I then received an email saying they weren't cleaning on Tuesday. Not a big loss as I had already found someone, but yet another moment of leaving a customer high and dry. BEWARE these people! Ultimately, it is about their bottom line and they don't care about their employees or their customers. If I were her I would be furious that they were discussing my personal problems without my permission in addition to trying to get people not to use me. And if something gets broken then they are going to do their best to short change you! read more
