This place was packed when we got here! We were accommodated in very quickly and they made an extra effort to make sure my friend and I got to sit by each other. My favorite thing: they got through the gel pedicures very quickly, which my friend and I appreciated because we were running on schedule to drive to LAX. They were very good with the actual gel application and the finishing hot towel wrap to finish was super satisfying. This nail salon is really friendly and has a fun vibe, but is not particularly professional, skilled, nor relaxing. I have visited the salon twice, and had a mediocre experience both times. The first time I visited this establishment, I felt that I was reprimanded multiple times for keeping my nails too short, which I actually still felt was kind of fun because it was like talking to an aunty, and let's face it. She was right that my nails were too short. But while doing the nails, my technician was really distracted to talking to the other workers, and missed putting the top coat on one of the nails. I pointed it out and she corrected it though, and the nails did look okay even though the jewels I asked for it fell off within 4 days. I also noticed that the nails were not painted all the way to the cuticles, and therefore already looked very grown out after just a couple of days. There were so many people working here though, that I returned to try the place again. Also I liked that the front staff and manager were all very friendly, offering water and wine to all the customers. The second try, however, was also disappointing. My dip nails were not done very well, with the painting finishing unevenly, and with my cuticles raw. I tried my best to capture it with photos; the dip actually is thicker around the cuticles and is finished with ragged edges. I feel like the lady tried though, so I also did not raise it as a concern. Also the mail technicians had what sounded like a mini argument while discussing what I could get done as dip nail, so I felt uncomfortable asking for a correction. I do have to say that the manager also asked me if everything was okay and I chose not to say anything. Overall I felt this was just a matter of skill that cannot be easily corrected, and also I was afraid of offending the person who already made my cuticles bleed so I just left. I probably will not try this salon again, but I did see that there were many other technicians who seemed to be doing a really good job, and seemed really friendly and professional. read more

The were too busy to take me as a walk in Saturday but I snagged a spot the next day. They share a park g lot with Smart & Final and Jeanine's so parking is busy. The owner, Loi, is very friendly and makes sure his guests are taken care of. I walked right into a chair. The services and prices were very clear. The technicians made sure to check in and make sure the shape, length, style was ok. I got a spa pedicure and gel fill acrylics and they did the pedi first, and the manicure second so it took a little under 2 hours. Jackie is a little heavy with the dremel tool, I have some burns on my cuticles and fingertips from the rotating filer. All in all clean, great work. I would come back. read more

such nice people! but the actual service is pretty...bad. i got a regular manicure and they didn't include cuticle/ the paint job was noticeably awful. pics below i also got the deluxe pedicure which includes a 7 min massage and the woman (who was a huge sweetheart) stopped during it for a whole 2 minutes (there is a timer) and when she continued she kept lightly rubbing the same part of ONE leg. I had an appointment for regular polish and the whole thing took less than 15 minutes. the tech rushed absolutely everything , left my old polish on the underside of my nail and left my edges rough from filing. then painted over the rough edge partially. they wouldn't let me sit more than 3 minutes to wait for my nails to dry. the tech even reached into my pocket to pull my wallet out while my nails were wet. I would have been happy to wait up front to free up the station but they were not even that busy and I was in the store for about 20 minutes (with an appointment). cleanliness was about a 3/10. I was just trying to do something nice for myself but I seriously regret going. I was not expecting too much and I tend to be very understanding for services but painting over the rough fling edge? To start out, I went to this establishment on a Sunday so it was pretty busy but luckily I made an appointment. They didn't do a bad job on my nails but I have had them last longer from other nail salons. I got a pedicure and gel nails this time. The pedicure was good but she did not cut my ingrown on the sides like I had asked her to so my toes are in more pain than when they are trimmed correctly. Not a huge deal, I can usually fix them myself but would have been nice if they were done correctly. Also, my big toenail was filed crooked which drove me crazy and I didn't notice until I left. My fingernails are short and somewhat brittle so I like to get gel nails so they are stronger. I don't know what type of gel they used but they chipped very quickly, which is something I have not had a problem in the past. I just think they were in a hurry which is understandable but I think I will be sticking to the nail salon I usually go to. Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the salon is very well maintained, but for the price, it would have been nice if my nails lasted longer. Most of the reviews are very good for Polished Nails and it's close to my home so I thought I would give it a try; not sure I will return to have my nails done there again. read more

It's been so hard for me to find a regular nail spa but I think I've found the one! The community at Polished is so warm and welcoming and it's such a great environment to be in. They offer beverages upon arrival and are very patient as it often takes me a minute to commit to a color! I always make sure I book Emily for my manicures because I love the way she does overlay and she always shapes my nails exactly how I want them. She's also so friendly, and very efficient! Long is also fantastic, my mom loves his manicures and pedicures as she gets regular manis. I went in with my Mother to get a gel manicure two weeks ago. I have only been to Polished a hand full of times, and it was a pleasant experience. However, this time wasn't. We were seated in pedi-chairs and quickly told to pick a color, as a pillow was abruptly put on our laps. The nail technician started to do my nails, I immediately let the technician know that I needed my cuticle cut and pushed back. I was ignored. I told her about 5 more times. (no response or acknowledgment) When It came time to paint my nails I told the nail tech again, my cuticle needed to be cut. I was ignored, yet again, and told to put my hand in the drier. After the first coat I told her it looked messy and told her about my CUTICLE AGAIN, and she still ignored me. After I looked down at my nails and said "they look messy, I don't like them" the owner Loi, came over and told her something. She THEN cut back my cuticle and ACTUALLY said to me, "WOW! Lot of cuticle" (HELLLLLOOOOOOOOO I told you!) and expected that to make the messy, lumpy nail painting she just did to go away. After filing away at the edges of my nails and cuticle to make her paint job look better I guess, I did not want the technician to complete the rest of my manicure which at this point was only the hand massage. The owner came over to me and I showed him my nails, he then said "If you don't like it, you don't pay" I explained myself which there wasn't really a reason, being the work showed for itself. The owner told the nail tech whatever he did, and she was no where to be seen. I moved to the waiting area and waited for my mother to finish with her manicure. As I was waiting, I was looking at my hands in disbelief but "it is what it is". I let it go. We all have our bad days. I tried to go back the next day and PAY IN FULL to have my nails re-done. But was told by the guy at the front to come back after 330 or 4 pm when the owner was back. It was about 1 pm I didn't have time to wait 2.5-3 hours to get the owners ok. So I left. 3/11 was two weeks ago that I had gotten my nails done. So, yesterday 3/13 I called, and made an appointment at 3:30pm for my mom and I. Thinking the last visit was all "water under the bridge" As my mom and I are Picking a color.... Loi, the owner, comes to ME, directly and says make sure you pick the right color this time, only certain techs can do certain colors. I looked at my mom in disbelief again! WTH, I let him know there was nothing WRONG with the COLOR it was the technician that didn't COMPLETE her job by not cutting back my cuticle therefore, the nail polish did not lay right on my nails and looked messy. The staff and owner are super friendly and nice, and at first I really loved what they were doing with my nails (I got acrylics). But I asked for a design- basically some black vines on my nails- and they came out not great. I asked the person working on my nails to fix it a few times and gave her a picture to show exactly what I wanted, but it seemed she couldn't do it, and she even mentioned that she usually does much simpler designs. We tried to fix them so many times but in the end I just let it go. To her credit, she was trying very hard and seemed to really care that I approved before we dried them, but they just didn't look very good and weren't getting any better. The most horrific manicure I've ever gotten in my life. I have a newborn baby and went to get my nails done to do something nice for myself and ended up crying in the nail salon. The lady who started my manicure had my nails soooo chunky and lumpy. Each nail looked like a bubble from so much polish and dip. After like 30-40 minutes I started panicking that I was going to have to leave with my hands looking so terrible. She kept filing and drilling my nails and nothing was fixing it she was just hurting me from filing my skin over and over. Finally I grabbed the manager and asked to please just remove my polish. After crying and asking to just leave without polish he offered to have Emily fix my nails and she did my polish better but they still made me pay for my service. I booked an appointment for 10am at this nail salon a week in advance. I came in about ten minutes early but they had me wait until 10:12am for someone to come talk to me and prep me for a dip manicure. I had gotten gel so they had to have me soak that off. The nail lady working on me offered the nail color choices to me only once she had actively begun working on removing the old nail polish. So I was sitting there sifting through the nail samples with one hand. This is the second time I have gotten dip done and this nail salon did a much better job compared to the previous salon I went to. And although it was a better job in comparison to the really horrible job the other salon had done, I could not help but feel like they were rushing to finish my manicure. She barely reshaped my natural nails and they had me move seats after they had me soaking in the acetone solution. I moved my things with acetone soaked hands. I guess overall my review is that they seemed careless about doing my manicure. I hope this is only my experience. The total for the dip on natural nails was $47. They also offered to do a pedicure because they were pretty free by the time my rushed manicure was done. The pedicure was a much better experience they even offered a drink. read more

But I'm sorry, this nail salon did the actual worst acrylics I have ever had. The nails were super wonky looking. I paid $75 for this!! My other two friends went a couple days later, and the people working there didn't realize she spoke Vietnamese and she literally heard them laughing saying "we should over-charge her" and proceeded to give her a terrible acrylic set that she had to get fixed later.
