My wife and I went for pedicures this week and they do a wonderful job. As you come in, the first thing they ask is for you to wash your hands. Then once you are seated you have a choice of lemon water champagne. The staff is attentive and pleasant. Be sure though to make a reservation in advance. Pedicures are always great here.. I usually have only ever gotten a regular mani or regular gel manicure here because they never did gel x . When I discovered the did do gel x I was so excited. I have been getting gel x for about two years and have always had an inspiration picture to give the nail tech because I like a certain type of shape and French manicure. The tech was so nice but I think they need to train more on techniques because this is definitely the worst gel and French manicure I have ever received. Glue coming out from the bottom so the nails are extremely thick.. nothing is even . It's such a mess . The only way to fix it was to start from scratch and there was not time. Classic Pedi gone wrong! I came here for a simple pedicure, but the lady cut my cuticle to the point of making me yell OUCH out loud. Throughout my whole experience after that my toe wouldn't stop bleeding. Making for a stressful experience. Eventually it stopped bleeding and nail polish was applied. Thank goodness! Despite the mishap, I do appreciate that the lady was very apologetic and friendly. I know she didn't mean to cause me pain, and for that I forgive her. Plus she did a great job in the end. I would still give this place another chance though. It's very immaculate, clean and pleasant to be in. They do have a real bar specifically for manicures. I think it's very cool and different from any other place in town. Complimentary water and champagne are also offered here. Hence the name champagne nail bar. I got the classic pedi, which is only $40! That's quite a deal, and you get 5% discount if paying in cash. So, make sure to take cash with you. The only con was the selection of nail polish colors. The variety of colors aren't very appealing, some looked old and gooey. Bring your own nail polish just in case they don't carry a color you like. Awesome gel mani/pedis. My 3 week old gel pedi is still going strong!! Just got another gel mani bc my nails grow super fast & I also have to keep my nails short for guitar. Tough to give a review after one visit, but first impressions are important. The setting is lovely. Parking is challenging to find. It would be great to get a recommendation when you make the appointment. My tech used an electric file/grinder to remove polish, not gels just regular polish and in the process cut my toe. Tina did my pedicure and Jessica my manicure. Both technicians were fantastic. Made me feel very comfortable and gave me exactly what I asked for. The place is really beautiful and clean. Love that before you even pick your color they ask you to wash your hands with soap and water, which is right in the middle of their shop. The chairs are comfortable and they knew I had to be in and out so they were very accommodating. It's a bit pricier than I normally pay but I'm very happy with the results. read more

I have been to Champagne Nails a few times, and I've never had any issues. However, during my most recent visit, I requested a specific design with dip nails. When I showed the technician my desired design, she assured me that she could do it. I did mention that if she was unable to achieve the design, I would prefer not to attempt it. Unfortunately, the result was nothing like what I had asked for--kind of like the meme: "This is what I asked for, and this is what I got." On a positive note, I received a pedicure, and I have no complaints about that; the technician did a great job. Overall, my experience took three hours and cost $200, including a $20 tip. Had a great first experience at champagne nails! I went in for a pedicure, I called same day and was able to get an appointment for an hour later. This is a great nail salon it's sort of an in between of your average old hole into the wall nail salon and a super bougie nail salon, the perfect in between that doesn't break the bank but feels nice! My nail technician was gentle and I was never in pain but she did a great job still of cleaning up my toes which were in desperate need of a pedicure! The salon was busy but not too noisy and there was nice instrumental music playing so it was a relaxing environment. Decided to try this (new to us) nail salon in our new neighborhood. Beautiful and friendly nail salon. My husband and I got pedicures here and they are very efficient. The place is clean and great decor. Lost a point as pedicure a little pricier than other salons here in Santa Barbara and nothing making it more special. In fact my husband felt very rushed and they did not clip his nails as short as he likes even after he asked. Also their chairs are not as comfortable as other places. Wow! What a gem! My girlfriend and I found this place on yelp and we decided to give it a try. The staff was welcoming and super friendly. We did have appointments so that was nice. They were ready for both of us which was really nice. The facility was clean, nicely decorated and had an inviting feel. The champagne was a fun choice as well. I got a gel mani and regular pedi and my girlfriend got a regular mani pedi. All the technicians that helped us did excellent work. We were able to chat and catch up and still get stellar service. I have gone to champagne nail bar a few times and got some great pedicures here! Unfortunately this last pedicure was terribly done. My big toe got infected and I had to go to urgent care to get a piece of my toenail cut out. The doctor said it probably happened because they used dirty tools when they cut my cuticle. I should've known that this pedi was no good when the guy started stabbing down the side of my toenail with that sharp tool and then cut a piece of my nail and proceeded to rip it out. He did do a good job at the French tip design so I was super happy with that but he also injured me and I can't work for a week now. So 1 star :( read more

We both got French tip dip nails almond shaped. Update: These nails actually only lasted a week and yellowed pretty badly- for how much they charge I think they should last me a 3-4 weeks as they quoted. They said they hadn't called me back because they hadn't been able to find it and thought it was a scam. Long story short, after almost 3 months I was finally refunded my $100. I am the customer. While checking out, trying to leave a tip, the desk guy (cashier) asked if I had cash as they don't take credit card tips. I didn't. Then he asked if I had ever been there before because I should remember. He then pulled out a sign with their tip policy, ie tips cash only., to prove his point.
