When I walked in and they assigned the lady to me to do my pedicure I immediately felt that she did not want to do it. I was never asked if I wanted to select a specific package like at other places. Usually I will pick a more expensive package because I like the extra perks. It felt very rushed. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The massage which we all know is the best part, is what really upset me - was 2 to 3 minutes max for BOTH feet. And I say feet loosely because she didn't actually touch my feet. There was a lady next to me whose pedicure started around the same time as me and I watched the experience she was having which was way better than the service I was receiving. Her pedicure wasn't even done as I was leaving. Very disappointing. I gave 2 stars only because my toe nails look decent, but still I would prefer the French tips to be a little thicker and more square. I'm really not picky either, just very disappointed to spend money and not have a relaxing experience.

The ladies here have always been warm, friendly, and welcoming, and they've kept me coming back year after year. Unfortunately, my visit on Wednesday, July 15, around 3:30 p.m. was very upsetting. When I walked in, there was only one other customer in the salon getting a pedicure. The owner was loudly yelling at the staff. It wasn't just raising his voice--it was shouting. It created an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone, including the other customer and, most importantly, the employees. My nail tech was visibly shaken. I quietly asked her what had happened, and she explained that he was upset because customers were texting their nail techs directly to make appointments instead of calling the salon. I've scheduled my appointments this way for the past six years because it's always been convenient and has never been an issue. He told them if they don't like his rules, they are welcome to leave! The owner eventually stormed out and sat on a chair outside the salon. A short time later, he came back in, slammed his drink on the counter, walked to the back, and began yelling at the staff again. Before I left, I told him that he shouldn't be yelling at his employees. He responded by saying he'd told them the same thing over and over. I told him that regardless of the reason, people deserve to be spoken to with kindness and respect, and that this kind of behavior should never happen in front of customers because it created a very awkward and uncomfortable environment for everyone. He apologized, but it didn't feel particularly sincere--he just seemed frustrated. I understand that he may have valid reasons for wanting customers to call the salon directly instead of texting their nail techs. That's his business decision to make. However, there is never a reason to berate employees in front of customers. I'm still giving five stars because of the wonderful women who work there and because my nail tech has consistently provided excellent service for six years. They deserve recognition. That said, if this had been my first experience at this salon, I honestly would not have returned. Be aware of this whack-o. I couldn't believe how he was talking to them. Not okay!!!!!

Then they force suggest an 50$ tip for work that didn't last and service that was... not good. I will not be returning which makes me so sad I really wanted to like this place I'm so disappointed it didn't even last to the event I got them done for!!
