However, after visiting there a few times, I had the most difficult experience during a pedicure. The tech cut my foot doing a callous removal. And, I am diabetic. This incident caused me to go to my podiatrist for treatment, pay for a antibiotic and bandage the area for the next week. It was superficial per the medical doc however, painful. It is most unfortunate, because they are pleasant enough, but, more careful attention to detail is needed. I will not be going back.

My nails always last and rarely ever chip, which is something I've struggled to find elsewhere. The team is incredibly accommodating and somehow always manages to fit me in, even when I need a last-minute appointment. Since the renovation, the salon looks absolutely beautiful--clean, modern, and so welcoming. It's become such a great neighborhood spot where everyone chats and feels comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients. Consistently great service, beautiful results, and a wonderful environment. I'm always happy when I leave and wouldn't trust my nails anywhere else!

It seems that there are some better manicurists in the salon, so depends on who you get.

I had remembered after leaving my appointment and thought I would remind them at my next visit. However, when I returned and mentioned it, the owner stated "we don't back date", and "it's not fair to other customers". What does that even mean? They can clearly see in the computer when my previous appointments were and check the stamped dates on my card before honoring. Perhaps this wouldn't have happened in the first place, if I was asked when paying if I had a loyalty card! However, if they don't ask they won't have to honor it... This speaks volumes about the business owner and how she values her customers. There are many other local nail salons that would love my business.

I politely pointed out during the haircut that it looked like too much was being taken off, but she continued to butcher my hair. By far the Deva curl cut I've ever had....my hair has the horrible pyramid shape that this style of hair cut is supposed to prevent!! Maybe they need to do some refresher courses?? She has an amazing creative eye and knows how to cut hair for your facial structure and your features. The salon is beautiful and I love the extensive name brands of products they offer.
