Please read this entire review. STAY AWAY! Only cares about their bottom line. I do not agree with any salon that has a charge for a missed appointment or a life event that is more important that their bottom line. If they have no customers, they have nothing. I had a critical situation with a routine procedure for my husband that may have caused a significant event if it was not caught in time. This event caused me to have to cancel my appointment less than their 48-hour policy. I called the salon as soon as I returned home from the hospital to state that I was not going to make my appointment the next day, specifically explaining the issue. First thing the next morning, I get a TEXT, not a Phone Call asking about my husband's well-being, which would have been the humane thing to do but to advise me that their cancellation policy was 48 hours and they would let it go this time because of the situation. I called them back immediately and made them understand that their 48-hour policy meant nothing to me when the health of my family was my concern and that their interest was self-serving and commission driven and I would never return to the salon again. To add insult to injury, I had to go back to the salon twice because the full set of lashes I paid for had fallen off with in two days. I spoke to the owner, she stated my techs get paid on commission and they did what they had to do to make it right the second time. I don't care if the service is not what you exactly wanted, I WILL NOT ACCEPT GREEDY OWNERS WHO HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING THAT LIFE EVENTS OCCUR. I tried them before and was not happy, decided that they had much better reviews and I would give it another try. Reviews are fabricated by self-indulged owners who pump them self-up for monetary gain. Shops that have the policy of 48-hour cancellation are only concerned about their bottom line. Side note, if they are trying to charge for debit credit card use, the state does not allow debit cards to be considered anything other than cash!! Check your Bills.!! read more

My husband got me a gift certificate here and not going to lie I was hesitant to get a massage because there wasn't much mention of massages at Polished online. Well, I decided to check it out and I am so glad I did. I was soooo impressed and highly recommend Miriam to anyone. She was FABULOUS! She has over 20 years of experience (maybe more, I forget what the exact number was!) I haven't had a massage in a few years and I have three young children~ my neck /shoulder has been bothering me for weeks from carrying my young children. I kid you not, I have not had one bit of pain all day today... She thoroughly worked through all of my muscles/knots and I feel soooooo much better today.. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH Poilished/Miriam! I never get manicures and pedicures but after a friend went here and I noticed how good her nails looked, I made an appointment with Jocelyn. I like well manicured natural nails and she used Dazzle Dry polish system. My nails and cuticles look beautiful and healthy. The salon is clean and people friendly. Thank you! read more

After waiting over a year (covid!) for a professional pedicure I thought I would splurge and spend $55 plus 20% tip to get a great experience. I arrived on time and waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time. My esthetician arrived and apologized. She was polite, quiet and professional. As I was trying to relax another employee was giving a manicure to her client about 15 feet away. She was loud, rude and completely ignorant of her surroundings. I heard about her family vacation centered around a rental home, pool and family drama. Including how someone called her daughter the "b" word, etc. It is a shame as I received a good pedicure, but certainly the price tag did not equate with the surroundings and experience. read more

I don't have kids yet, but I'm a helicopter mom when it comes to my hair. Sheila, the owner, is the only person I trust with it. She is amazing and has been doing my hair since college-so about 7 or 8 years now. She always knows just the right cut, length, products, and color shades that will work best for me every day and for special occasions. I booked an appointment with her right before our engagement pictures were taken, and my hair looks awesome. Sheila did my blowout and all of my bridesmaids updos for my November wedding. We all looked and felt our best! Sheila also knows her clients on a personal level and is so fun to talk to during appointments. Appointments are required! Large space but they make it very homey with their decor. The main floor has couple of different rooms; one is a sitting/waiting area, two pedicure rooms with two large chairs in each room. There are four manicure stations. Another room contains clothing and jewelry that they sell. When you go up stairs, its where the waxing and massage takes place. They also do facials there. I went there with my friend (the bride) and her MOH. They asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Its a bit pricey for me but its reasonable for the Main Line. Terez (Teeni) Molnar is hands down the best aesthetician EVER. She is from Hungary and she knows excellent skin care. I have been going to her for 14 years and now my daughter goes to her for "teen facials." I have tried many, many other facials, both at international spas and at spas in several different U.S. states. She is the best, period. She also does a great job of eyebrow and eyelash coloring, waxing, collagen treatments and reflexology. Ask for Teeni when you book, to make sure you get her. I went here with my mom for a mani/pedi to celebrate my birthday. I had been once previously for a manicure. It's a very cute place, and what you get here that is lacking at most nail salons is individual attention (and the idea that everything is actually clean.) That said, you pay 3 time as much for the same types of services. They were very helpful and understanding of it being my mom's first time having a mani/pedi, and everything turned out very nicely. Appointments are pretty much required, because there's a small staff and they take their time with clients. I don't think you can tip on a credit card, but I'm a little foggy on that detail. Overall, a nice place to go for special occasions, but too expensive to make my regular place. read more

So i don't normally write reviews but I recently had an amazing experience at Polished. My husband was kind enough to get me a gift certificate for some much needed spa time (I'm 8 months pregnant). I started my day with a massage. The masseuse was so sweet and really made me feel comfortable (again I'm 8 months pregnant). It was very obvious she has a lot of experience. After my massage I got a pedicure which truly was the best pedicure I've ever had; very thorough and clean. Foot massage = heaven. Thank you polished for a great day, I will def be back! :) read more
