I am very picky about where I get my nails done because I look for certain things: professionalism, cleanliness, quality of the products and attention to detail, and whether they cut me during a service. With that said, I have been coming here for several years now. The service is great, and customer care is a priority here. When getting a manicure; acrylic or dip- Lena always takes care of me and listens to what I want, but adds her professional opinion as well. Although you can expect a high standard with pretty much every nail tech here, I only ask for Yenney to do my pedicures. She is sweet, gentle, and particular with her work. Speaking of pedicures, the pedicure massage chairs are wonderful- a nice and relaxing getaway for a mom of 5... Overall, the experience here is consistent and the salon to me is trustworthy. Quality Control..... As I write this I really wish I went and asked for my money back but we're in the middle of a pandemic and all just trying to live, so I'll pretend I spent $70 to help a family out. Given the reviews here, I'm assuming we got unlucky with the technicians. I went with my sibling and it was their first time at a nail salon. We both had older women doing our nails, and the results are not good. Both came out uneven and you can see in the pictures that some of our natural nail beds can be seen through the color and some of the polish were left on our fingers. Not good at all. Both ladies kept looking around the salon as they worked on us. And didn't give a second look to check their work. The lady getting out payment checked our nails and agreed that they were uneven but didn't say anything else. Furthermore, the lady doing my nails was not wearing a mask (thank god I'm vaccinated) and I had to also ask for an acrylic divider to be put between us because for some reason my table was missing one. I'm just visiting my family for the week so I wanted to do fun sibling activity but I am severely disappointed with the results. Needless to say I sure am not coming back here. The quality is inconsistent as it depends on who you get. The first time I went, my nails looked fantastic and a high level of care was placed. The second time, the person was pretty distracted and kept stepping away or looking at their phone. Considering how expensive services are, it's a bit disappointing. My first time at this place was pretty pleasant. Pretty sure I lucked out with the owner that time. My gel manicure only lasted a week though, so I came back for a new set. I called on my way from work to ask about wait time; I was planning dinner with my boyfriend, but he was stuck in traffic so I wanted to see if I could squeeze-in a visit. If I knew they were busy, I would have went across the street or went the next day. They did not answer my question and instead ordered me to come in at 6pm. I told them I was already on my way in and they just agreed with me. I arrive around 5:40pm. Kevin did my nails but would stop every 20 minutes to ring customers up or answer the phone. During one of these breaks, I run to the restroom- When I come back, Kevin is nowhere to be seen. I sit for half an hour while staff assures me "he'll be right back". By this time, customers are clearing out and staff is beginning to clean up shop. Eventually, another woman comes and does the dip powder for him. She was fine but her daughter came to sit with her and was jerking her around while she was trying to work on my set. She also didn't clean the powder off well before activating. I see Kevin enter from outside and start working on another customer's nails. He only comes back to file mine and put top coats on. He forgot to reshape a few of my fingers because he stood up again to attend the cash register. When I mention it, he simply says "no I did those already". Sir, no you didn't. I am actually paying attention, unlike you. I am the last customer to leave at 7:40pm. I left with multiple crooked nails and hardened dip powder all over the sides of my fingers. There was a point in which I gave up and decided I'd fix everything myself once I got home. No chance of making it to dinner now. Needless to say, I am not coming back. read more

It does the job. The manicurists very in skill and experience; I've walked out with a really nice dip/gel manicure and I've also walked out with terrible results. Luckily I've never been hurt which is a huge plus for me but these days I only go in for a pedicure since you can't really go wrong with a pedicure (at least in my book). Nice ambiance though! Every now and again I've got to get a pedicure. It's a great way to unwind and I get a kick out of the ticklish feeling afterwards. My girlfriend and I went to Polished Spa today and we had a wonderful time. She's super happy with her nails and I had a wonderful hot stone foot massage. A cute and clean salon. I've been here 3 times already. I don't really have a set salon I guess but more on connivence wherever I'm at / location. The first time I came here I wasn't really happy with the way my nails turned out but I gave another chance and the staff who did it I was so impressed by the shape, paint job, and gentleness. I'm so scared to get cut.. I feel like every other time I get my nails done I get cut. My fault because I should stick with one salon and one person i trust. The third time I came in my pedicure was great but my nails shape was a little off and paint was not done with "great" attention to detail but it was fine. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. I do standard pedicures and have acrylic on my natural nails. I first came in June with a few friends for pedicures, which turned out great. I tried the salon again for a fill and a pedicure mid-August. The pedicure was great again, but my acrylic started chipping off just over a week later (I've had acrylic last 3+ weeks before; grown out but no chipping). I figured it was something wrong with the products used that day or that particular nail tech. I made another appointment for a fill with a different tech and had the same issue (chipping acrylic about a week later). This time I thought my acrylic might be old and that it might be time to start fresh with a full set, so I booked another appointment. I left with my fresh new full set and was convinced there would be no chipping this time. Unfortunately, about a week later, the acrylic started chipping off. The salon itself has a great ambience and is clean and sanitary. However, I can't shell out this kind of money only for my nails to chip a week later. I would recommend their pedicures, but nothing wit acrylic. read more

Since this is the only nail salon I have ever been to I don't have any place to compare it to. That said, my wife and I have been to Polished Spa several times now for the mani-pedi treatment. The staff all work hard and do their jobs well. My feet feel great and my hands look good. Having my nails done professionally makes it easier to keep them trimmed in-between visits. An appointment means nothing. my appointment was at 4 PM. I was five minutes late. The only male nail tech there whom I had an appt with was working on someone when I walked in. I patiently waited... 430 comes around I'm still waiting.... I get up to use the restroom at about 445 and come back to see that he is working on someone new- I look at him and ask what about my appointment and he sends his sister over Who was working on a client to seat me and soak my nails. I was frustrated and asked them just to remove my nails and I did not get my set redone. This was my third time coming and I won't be going back because of them not being mindful of their clients appointments. I came here for the first time 2 days ago since my usual salon isn't operating outside and I cant say that I was too impressed. While my pedicure was good, I cant say the same for my gel manicure. The next day it was already peeling and chipping on two nails which is a complete disappointment. In addition, service was VERY slow without it necessarily being because they were doing a better job. While getting my nails down one of the employees took a phone call on speaker phone from a customer earlier in the week who had suffered a toe infection after her pedicure. It was completely unprofessional for a call like this to be taken on speaker where all the other customers could hear but on the other hand it was also good information to be aware of. I don't plan on coming back. Update: called them to fix my two peeled nails which they were great about but the next day more peeled. It hadn't even been 5 days. read more

TL;DR -- My new favorites nail salon in Green Valley!!! Overall, 1000/10 & I recommend this place over any other in the area!!!! Everyone at this salon is so kind and welcoming, the atmosphere is so peaceful! I've been coming since they opened and have had nothing but a good experience & an amazing mani pedi. They have taken great precaution since opening back up & have put up plexiglass barriers at the pedicure massage chairs as well as the manicure stations, to ensure safe distance in between the nail tech & the client. They also require you wear a mask & sanitize before touching any of the polishes or gel color rings. They alsoooo are thoroughly cleaning the seats and foot soaking tubs, plus changing the plastic wrap after each customer (this was done before new measures as well of course). As for my pedicure, she did AMAZING!!! It was a much needed pedicure and my toes are so so happy now that they're polished, pampered, & massaged. They were also able to take me as a walk in around 6:40, even though they close at 7. Thank you so so much! I will be returning often :) read more

Defiantly a hit or miss when I come here to get my nails done. Recently I had Mary do my nails and she did an amazing job!! I was able to literally have my nails last for 5 weeks!! and my pedicure to last for 10 weeks. She paid attention to detail as well as really making sure she does a great job on my nails. She really listened to what I wanted and executed what i needed for my nails. When it was time for a fill I scheduled the appointment with Mary and when I had got there the gentleman told me that they forgot to call me to cancel/reschedule my appointment because my usual nail tech had called in sick. So therefore I just asked for someone else.. and well the fill only lasted for about a week and my nails were all lifted and one broken. I then called into the facility and asked for them to schedule an appointment with my regular technician and I had explained to them what had happened with my nails after 1 week. No reaction what so ever and no sorry or ill get it fixed for you. After confirming my appointment I called them the day of my appointment making sure my nail tech was there and that my appointment was set for the time frame. They had told me I don't have an appointment. -.- at this point I am frustrated because I now have to wait again... so now I am fed up and have too look for another technician.. I went else where hoping I can get a good nail tech as great as Mary. I hope to see her again and I am sure it will be soon.. read more
