I love coming here, it's best to come in the morning when it's not so busy and it's also a more relaxing, during the afternoon I've gone and it was a little noisy but it could just be the group of young girls that were in there. Anywho, the mornings is when I come and I love going to Trish. She is amazing. She doesn't rush through your service and she is very kind. I've had another nail tech do my nails and they were okay but to the same as how Trish does them so I'll always go to her. The team here always takes such good care of me. I would recommend making an appointment but they do accept walk ins. Even if there is a little wait the vibe of the place is so nice and open that it's worth it. The chairs are super comfy and everyone there is always very accommodating for those who need ADA assistance and such (from mobility/physical). This used to be my go to spot to get a pedicure with my Mom for over 5 years. The pedicure quality, service, and hot stone were something I looked forward to do with my Mom. My last experiences have been less then stellar. I usually get a mani/pedi regular polish and sometimes a gel manicure. We have been there multiple times and the first couple visits were good. However, I cannot stress appointment times MUST be honored. Right before Christmas, my daughter was almost done with her nails before they were ready for me. We had the same appointment time. I declined further service. Tonight, my daughter walked out after 15 minutes AFTER her appointment. Ten minutes after she had left, she received a text they were ready for her. This is not acceptable. Whether, they are taking walk-ins before appointments or mismanaging times, it's not acceptable. Now they have lost two return customers. I made an appointment with David online on 2/28; however, I believe David is on vacation. Another technician (a gentleman wearing a gold chain) did my nails instead. Unfortunately, he did not shape and file my nails the way I requested, my nails are crooked and uneven. I also asked him multiple times if he could put a tip on my left big nail because it was broken. I understand that English may not be his first language, so I tried to repeat myself, but he still did not seem to understand. I ended up asking one of the female staff members, and she was able to help me. I completely understand that the salon can get busy, but when a client makes an appointment, I hope the service won't feel rushed. I feel like the prices were very fair. Such good service, very happy with the outcome. They both listened to what I wanted. They are undergoing a remodel which shows they care about their business and it was very clean. I thought it would be too far out of the way but I've had a heckuva time finding someone who measures up to her. I've decided some things are worth the drive. I can always walk in with a picture of nail designs and Tay can replicate almost anything. She freehand draws most of the designs on my nails and doesn't use stickers like most places. My choice cuz I was off work but when I went back I couldn't type so had to go back to get them shorten down. She was friendly and awesome. Once again I was pleasantly surprised by the price. 3) going on a trip and wanted to change my nail color to something that wont draw attention. Plus needed a fill. I cannot remember their names but I got a pedi and one of the males who spoke no English was my nail tech. He was so lovely despite the language barrier and did his best to communicate with me regardless. He was so kind. And the woman who did my nails was very sweet and attentive. I've been here at least 5 times so I figured Ive had enough of an experience to review them now. The pros are that they will always take you back, almost immediately, but you may have to wait until a tech is ready for you. I've always made appointments in advance and when I show up they act like they have no idea and treat me like a walk in anyways. The cons - the nail techs are very inconsistent. Sometimes you get one that does a thorough job on a pedicure and sometimes you get one that does the bare minimum. I've even had a tech completely forget to scrub my other foot. Some offer you the complimentary beverage, some don't. The whole process feels rushed. And they don't have AC so it is always burning up in there!! When it comes to manicures, the only tech I've seemed to like is Kim. They all do a very basic manicure and no massage/lotion. If they do it's a max 3 minutes. Bottom line - if you're in a pinch and need somewhere to go, I'd recommend them. read more

When another woman was facing the same issue I was trying to address, the girl got upset with me even though I wasn't the one complaining. She started making faces and accused me of "always having issues." The wait is never too long. You do have the option of making an appointment, which I advise. They are that good. Not only is the interior beautiful but the personalities on Tay and Hana are Customer Service here is top notch and they speak to you as if you were a long time friend -- Now the last time I had a Medi-Pedi was with my Ex back in 2020 and I only ever had them with my Ex. Now let's get one thing clear, I left my Ex. But they made me feel comfortable and assuaged any uncomfortable feelings that arose. Now before I get to the services, I want to say that I've always had insecurities when it came to my fingers and toes. My parents did not bless me with the best genetics... Tay did wonders on my fingers. No sharp pains or burning sensations while she worked my cuticles. I have a finger that has a damaged nail that she worked around. Congratulations to her engagement and I wish her the best. She's very bubbly, fun, and sassy, which I can stan. Hana worked on my fat toes. Lux Nails Design and Spa is amazing! First, they were able to accommodate a same day appointment. I also heard them allow walk ins. Secondly, the salon is so clean and organized. They sanitized all the tools and the facilities were pristine. Now for the real review. I came in wanting a manicure but was unsure of what I wanted. Taytay gave me her expert recommendations and walked me through the process. She is patient and a true artist in her craft. She shares her knowledge with us clients and is transparent as to what would look best. She recommended an overlay and gel manicure for me. I have never even heard of an overlay before but I am so happy she recommended it. My nails feel thicker and stronger and I know my gel manicure will last longer. I wanted a simple design which can sometimes be easier to detect imperfection, but she "nailed" it. She painted on the cutest, most perfect hearts. I love it so much! I can not recommend this place enough! You have to come check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed! I looked over to my right and Hana was also doing a beautiful design on acrylic nails.
