This was my 2nd visit here. This time I stayed in the hotel that is attached. (The Starling) There is something for everyone here. Various restaurants, desserts, cocktails, etc. This is ideal for really anything you want. Date night, hanging with friends, group outings, family gatherings, etc.. There was a line dance class and DJ setup. So fun! I would recommend this. I do know parking can be tricky as I paid a lot the last time I was here! Lots of seating and clean restrooms. Went to Bar Politician on a Monday evening after yoga, originally just planning to grab food since they have a good variety of options, but we ended up staying and hanging out for a while. There was a DJ playing music bingo, which made the whole vibe really fun and interactive. We grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered some wings, and joined in on the games. The bartenders were really friendly, and the drinks were on point, we had a mezcal margarita and an old fashioned, and both were really good. We decided to check this out since they had a lot of options for food. On the food from Twenty six Thai , had some Thai iced tea very good. The Crab cheese rolls were very good & so was the Chicken basil rice & Pad see u. From the Chicken swarmsa, sahirah kebab curry, was very good so were the simosas. Love the concept of a food court being added. Provides several varieties for any palate. I was disappointed on this cold day of there being no true coffee/tea restaurants. Starbucks is close so that could be why. Great options before catching a movie. Parking is validated for 2 hours. If you exceed it is as though it was not validated based on the price. Plenty of easy access parking in the deck. They have entertaining certain days of the week and a nice small bar in the center. Cute areas with sofas if not looking to eat. read more

The DJ played some good music, the bartenders were short-staffed but I would've never know until they apologized for taking a second to come to my friend and I. I visited here on a Thursday night for a meet up with colleagues who were in town for a conference. This is a food hall with several options and various cuisines from soul food to Thai to Mexican to pizza. There is something for everyone. They even had a bar in the middle. There is an area for free water. The vibes were nice and prices are typical for Atlanta but may seem pricey if visiting, like I was. I got a cookie from Fit for a Cookie and my friend brought us drinks from the bar, which was tasty. There is o parking garage for customers to park. We came here several times throughout our trip to enjoy food, cocktails, & the overall laid-back, cool vibes of the place. A very cool venue with a taste of something for everyone! There were lots of different food options and a great space to find a seat indoors or outdoors! There also is a bar centered in the space. I ate at 26 Thai and got the chicken Pad Thai which was a well portion for the $19 price! I also tried a peach oolong tea from the boba tea adjacent to it. Overall the food was great, but not the top meal I've ever had. The space had a great vibe and service was great at the two space I ordered from. I will note that you bus your own table! I was staying at the Starling Hotel, which Politan Row is connected to, and found it convenient to have so many dinner options to choose from beyond room service. After a long travel day, all I wanted was to shower, grab dinner, and get some rest. I ordered birria tacos and queso and chips to-go from Pretty Little Tacos. I requested no cilantro but my tacos still had some in them and the tortillas were a little burnt around the edges. I didn't initially realize chips and queso are sold separately, which felt a bit overpriced compared to what I'm used to. Most restaurants serving Mexican food typically bundle them together. Overall the food was about a 3.5-3.9 in terms of taste. I originally planned on taking my food to-go since it was so crowded and most of the tables were full, but I was feeling the ambiance and the playlist so I decided to grab a seat at the bar. The playlist was stacked with throwback T.I. songs and a lot of mid 2000s to early 2010s hip-hop and R&B songs, which always puts me in happy, relaxed mood! The bartender whipped up a pineapple and club soda based mocktail with 1-2 other ingredients that were really refreshing. I didn't want to drink alcohol before my flight the following day and I didn't want a regular soft drink, so I always appreciate when a bartender can accommodate a thoughtful mocktail. He asked what type of flavors I like in drinks before whipping up a custom mocktail. One small inconvenience: I didn't receive napkins with my order and didn't see a self-serve station around the food hall. When I asked a staff member by the restroom area, she informed me I'd have to get napkins from the vendor. The line was really long when I went back and there wasn't a napkin dispenser at the counter. Next time I'm eyeing 26 Thai and Fit For A Cookie! I love Poliitan row because the ambiance is always a vibe. Very nice and chill, but the weekends can be a bit busy and crowded. The food options are pretty much simple, nothing over the top. Ranging from Mexican, Jamaican, Vietnamese, and Cuban, etc... They have a nice bar setting, but the bar menu is basic. Depending on the bartender, they can still mix you up something special. I'm giving it a 3 for the food. I got the Pork Ramen and the shrimp tempura from Gekko Kitchen. Both were underwhelming. Tempura batter was too thick. Ramen was lacking flavor and had too much fish sauce for my taste. The basil chicken from Twenty Six Thai was good. Pad See Ew was ok. Lacking flavor. I was in Atlanta for the weekend and wanted to see some of my friends and was looking for a central location for all of us (10 people) to meet, eat and chat for awhile and this was the perfect location! It's like a high end food court with a bar and outdoor games! They have a variety of food options that range from Cuban, Mexican, Italian, Soul, Thai and American food as well as dessert options so everyone was able to get whatever their taste buds desired as individuals. We were able to eat, sit and chat for as long as we wanted, unlike being at a restaurant and having to be mindful of constant patrons waiting to be seated. This is a food court tucked in what appears to be a commercial office building. There is also a hotel that it connects to as well. We came here before a concert and the inside is huge! We did not have a problem finding a table. They have all kids of seating available included big long tables, rounds tables and there is a bar in the middle. The food options were good in the variety department, as there was pizza, mexican, asian, truly something for everyone. It did not range in price points though. Most all of it was in the mid-tier, nothing too expensive, but also nothing super cheap. There is a self serve water station in each corner and you buss your own tables. Many options to choose from: Asian,Cuban, Mexican, Italian, American, even boba and a nice little cookie place! Service was easy to figure out and some of the employees will even bring your meal out to you! Navigating the underground lot is also a challenge, so I prefer using Marta for transportation here. That being said, Politan Row has the best food court and restaurant selection in all of Atlanta--it's not even close! On today's visit, I ate at 26 Thai, where the customer service was excellent. They offer a restaurant feel and presentation, even though it's essentially carry-out service. Their Thai Tea is the closest to authentic I've found within 15 miles, and the shrimp coconut soup might be the best I've ever had. The prices are very reasonable, but I would pass on the fried wings, which lacked any Thai seasonings or flair. read more

From the pictures, I was expecting a kind of uppity, takes itself too seriously sort of place. However, once you're inside the vibe is actually kind of cool and the people that we encountered were all really nice and friendly. I wouldn't say this place is upscale, food wise, as the décor tries to trick you, but the quality of the food is pretty good. It's on the more expensive side but I get it with the area it's in and the posh surroundings. We walked in from the street after visiting the Botanical Garden and it was quite the shock to be expecting slightly fancy, hoity toity and get hip-hop/R&B/Rap DJ playing super loud and people making a makeshift dance floor by the bar. Not upset by this by the way. I like this vibe much better and couldn't help but sing along and dance in my seat. There are a lot of food vendors and plenty of places to grab some water. The bathrooms are nice and I liked that the sinks are outside. The only problem of the night seemed to be the bar in the middle. I am writing this review to express my extreme displeasure with the Tasting Table experience my friends and I had this past Saturday night. We booked the experience for my friend's birthday and and were really excited about it BUT it was extremely unsatisfactory. The only redeeming quality that earns this a star was our server Kiana, who was very bubbly & fun, and very apologetic & professional regarding our bad experience (which was in no way her fault). She honestly could teach the manager some things (read on). The food we received in person was nowhere near approaching the items listed in the menu online. The menu online listed 10 items. We received five. Of the items we received, there were often not enough for all the members of our party (for example, eight tacos for 10 people). The quantity of food was not near sufficient for our party size and did not come close to justifying the price per person. We were all still hungry at the end and half of us bought additional food that was not included in the price of what we paid for the experience. We received no communication beforehand or during the experience that the menu had changed, and did not realize how little food was coming until we were given dessert and were told that there was no more food. We paid in advance $40 per person for a party of 10 (plus tax and service fee... so I'd estimate ~$500+) and based on the prices clearly listed on the vendor stalls received only ~$150 worth of food. We were not provided any sort of receipt or anything that could justify the price. We were told we were given higher quality food, such as brisket, but again the quantity given to a group of our size was embarrassing. We addressed all of this with the manager who could use a lesson on customer service. She did not apologize, came off extremely cold (while we were nothing but polite), and told us there was "nothing she could do" as she had already loaded more money on our table to get two small plates of chicken gyoza (still not enough for our whole group!). After dinner, my friend who made the reservation emailed the person who we were told was in charge of the Tasting Table experience and has yet to hear back as to how we can remedy this situation. He plans to dispute the charge with his credit card because this was in no way worth the price and we absolutely deserve some money back. I NEVER leave one star reviews (and almost never less than four!) because I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. There is no excuse, however, for this experience. I can guarantee you that all 10 of us will be sharing this experience with others we know. I will not be back. read more

This is a nice spot with several food options, making it a great choice for a casual date or hangout with friends. Came here for the first time before heading to a concert a few weeks ago. We weren't super hungry, so we didn't order much but it's perfect for ordering a few items to share from different places. We were interested in trying something from Smokehouse, but they'd recently opened and didn't have all of the items listed on their menu. I didn't get pictures of everything,m since it all came out at slightly different times, but I ended up deciding on spicy lemon pepper wings from Tandoori Pizza and Wing Co. and the crispy Brussels sprouts from Federal Burger. My husband ordered some kind of habanero wings, and he also got a curry chicken patty from Locale Caribbean. The wings were good but nothing major to say about them. The Brussels were crispy as advertised, and the Parmesan and truffle aioli were a nice addition. The patties are half price ($3) when you get them between 3-6pm or something like that. That's the only time we'd order them. It was basic and didn't seem to be worth $6. Husband also had the carrot cake bread pudding from Zaddy's. He enjoyed it but said he could have done without so much of the sauce that came on top, which made it a little too sweet. Overall, this is a nice option to get some decent food and not feel rushed, to just enjoy the scenery and relax. It wasn't crowded for a Friday night. The music selection and lighting inside set the atmosphere, and there was a band singing on stage just outside of the entrance. We were able to find street parking, but there are also decks all around. Although this was my first visit, my husband has been on a few other occasions with friends and family. Upscale food hall in midtown. Politan Row opened in Colony Square along with surrounding restaurants like the Brown Bag Seafood, Serena Pastificio, and others. Decor is very chic and warm inside with about 10+ food stalls that includes a place for Jamaican jerk chicken, Indian fusion pizza, birria tacos, Italian pizza, burger, shakes, bubble tea, pho & bahn mi, rice bowls, and more with the bar located in the center. All the food is good and just depends on your craving but my favorites have been the birria tacos at the taco stall and the balsamic pizza at the Italian pizza stall. Didn't get the best service from the bar in the middle but there's also a speak easy bar called Jojo's once you pass the bathroom entrance in the middle. Once you put in the order, each stall has a different way of alerting you that the food is ready such as a text or a buzzer. You can retrieve the food and either grab a seat inside or the covered outdoor seating, which have been my preference. Was very glad to check this food hall off of my list of places to visit. I came during what thought would be "slow hours". You know, when it's too late for lunch but too early dinner for most. Even at 4pm on a Sunday there was quite the crowd. Parking There is a multi level parking garage. You get a ticket upon entry but Politan Row does validate 2 hour parking with a proof of purchase, so be sure to hold on to your receipt. Choices Currently there are 12 food stalls offering Indian pizza/wings, Vietnamese noodles, tacos, burgers and more. The choices can be a but overwhelming but the menus are easy to read with a quick browse. There is also a full bar right in the middle of the food hall. I've tried a few stalls and haven't been blown away with the food. It's just ok. There is nothing that pulls me back to have again. Ambiance The DJ played upbeat music, had appropriate level lighting (it was kinda fun but I could still see) and security. Seating They have both indoor and outdoor seating. During super busy hours I'm sure it's tough to find indoor seating. I've visited Politan Row a few times and seating can be sparse. Politan Row is a new, upscale food hall in Atlanta. At the time of my visit, there were already several different options. They offered a variety from pizza and tacos to sushi and banh mi. There was also a big, gorgeous bar in the middle of the space. Jojo's Beloved Cocktail Lounge had not opened yet. Great addition to the Atlanta food scene. However, upscale places usually mean upscale prices. Politan Row is no different. I walked around the food hall trying to decide what I wanted to eat for lunch. Plenty of seating as well. Inside and on a covered patio. The decor is inviting. If you're looking to host an event, they have a semi-private space with mid-century decor with a private bar. I like the dedicated water space. Krog needs to reimagine a space like that. The outdoor lawn space is simply amazing. On a good day, you can take a break on one of the swings out there or just simply relax on the lawn. They do validate parking fir a couple of hours so do make sure you see a host. Probably lots of business people coming through from conferences. They have a nice seating area. Vibe is open and pretty cool and they have a bar in the middle.
