Thank you TVS for making them happy.

The veterinarian seems to perpetually be in a bad mood. I recently had to make a very difficult…read moredecision about my dog. The vet kept her for two days, treating her for kidney failure and said she'd be there for at least a few more days, and couldn't tell us much more than that. After doing my own research, I learned that the treatment would likely take weeks, and did not have a high rate of success, and would be expensive as well. I hated the thought of my dog being alone in a cage for so long and maybe passing there, so after a lot of thought, I decided to take her home, spend a last day or two with her, and have her put down peacefully in our home. We went to get her and had to wait an hour in a small dirty room that smelled like shit before the vet would discuss it with us. She read off a bunch of numbers which she must have known meant nothing to us, and then tried to bully us into leaving the dog there. We kept asking about the length and likely outcome of the treatment, in case our information was incorrect, but she kept repeating "I don't have a crystal ball!" I'm sure she must have known the same information we did, and was intentionally withholding it so that we'd go along with the treatment she wanted to do. I feel the job of a vet or any medical professional is to inform their patients, so that they can make their own decisions. I hope she was at least doing what she thought was right, but it's still pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Also the place always smells so bad. I went in once for a heartworm pill, had to wait at least 30 minutes, and at one point I had to go outside because the smell was making me nauseous. To be fair, though, if you need very inexpensive care, this is the place to go.

I was overwhelmed as to how I was going to care for my little buddy and go to work. Well when I found out about the medical boarding it eased my stress. I was able to go to work and pick him up after and not worry if he was going to be ok. He was in great hands. During his boarding they did his acupuncture and light therapy. They also express his urine and helped him poop. He was given his medications at times required and I was given updates as to his wellbeing. It was just a wonderful experience. Now it's my only vet to go to since they also do grooming. They currently do the grooming for my poodle and will be doing our Maine coon cat shortly. The entire kiddos will be coming here. The medical boarding was affordable just a little bit more than regular boarding or daycare but that's understandable. Thanks to everyone at the office for taking care of Tank.
