Basically the only way to *choose* a doctor is based off their credentials and background. I wish there were a consistent review platform for healthcare providers. I found Dr. Leigh Ball's page and realized she was also a sleep specialist, which worked well for me since I was having some issues with insomnia. I am so happy with Dr. Ball. She takes time to listen, asks great questions and is understanding. She involves my partner when he comes to appointments with me but always sleeps the focus on me. She was also willing to do virtual apts. She is responsive via MyChart. Great experience with her. The office itself is in the CAM. Pretty basic, staff is nice, straight to the point. I've never had to wait more than like 30 mins tops to be seen. They can also do some blood work right there which is nice. Oh, and the views of the city from the CAM are a nice little perk.

I've been seeing Dr Laffey for over a year and can count on one hand the times I've not been pushed off to schedule a monthly appointment and ESPECIALLY to get my script refilled. It's killing my experience, I've recommended the office to countless people and had two start the program. I got to my appointment the requested 20 minutes early. I was in the room 10 minutes before my appointment and get this, the doctor walked in 2 minutes EARLY. Never in my life has that happened. I thought it was an urban myth. He was very nice, listened to me, I didn't feel rushed one bit. He left the room to call and consult on something for me. I was blown away but the service and feel of ease and comfort. Best part, he called me later that day to give me some more advice on something I asked about. Personally. Not a nurse. Instead he listened to what I was feeling and how I was thinking and actually agreed with me as long as it was negative and got tested again like normal. I agreed. Turned out I was correct and am thankful he took the time to listen to my concerns. Staff is a little stand offish at times but they are a busy office but they do care, give good help and I would recommend his office. But don't have your baby at St Clares, he is also associated with other better hospitals that will treat you with more respect. But like I said I had a great experience with him and even when declining a circumsicion for my son he even agreed and didn't look down on me (which the nurses at st clare did they thought I was crazy)
