Chicken was fine, overrated but fine. Plantains were very good. $16 for a four piece excluding a drink.

Crimson Coward (2nd Visit)…read more Came back for a second visit to Crimson Coward and it definitely confirmed why I wanted to give it another try. Food: This time I kept it simple but strategic. I ordered the smash burger combo (only $4.99 to upgrade--great deal), which came with fries and a drink. The burger was stacked with onion, American cheese, pickles, and their signature crimson sauce on a soft brioche bun. Everything worked together--juicy, flavorful, and not overly greasy. I also tried the Quarter Coward (an off-menu item priced at $5.49), got it mild with honey sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly--tender inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The honey added just enough sweetness to balance the mild heat without overpowering it. Definitely a hidden gem on the menu. Atmosphere: The space is bright, clean, and inviting. I especially liked the open kitchen concept--it gives transparency and lets you see everything being made fresh. Plenty of tables available if you're dining in. Customer Service: You're greeted when you walk in, which I always appreciate. Ordering is primarily done through kiosks, so interaction is minimal unless you need assistance--but the setup is smooth and efficient. Wait Time: Everything is cooked to order, which I don't mind. I placed my order at 3:16 PM and had my food by 3:30 PM, so about a 14-minute wait--pretty reasonable for fresh food. Overall: Solid second experience. Good quality, fair pricing, and consistent execution. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu--especially those off-menu finds

It was a pleasant surprise when I recently googled fried chicken and this location popped up in my search. It has been open for a few months. My husband called in our order while we were driving as the chicken can take awhile since it is made to order. We purchased half a chicken box which consist of four piece chicken (drumstick, breast, wing, thigh), fries, coleslaw, and a slice of bread. Although it took a little longer than normal, it was worth the wait. The fries and chicken were piping hot and crispy. When I bit into the chicken, it was crackling and so hot I had to blow on it. Aside from fried chicken, they also sell fish, wings, sides, and dessert. It's worth noting that their infamous lemon pepper seasoning, often referred to as crack because it's addictive, is available for purchase. My husband was thrilled to see this as the Glen Burnie location does not sell it. When I started taking pictures, one of the owners, Tiger, saw me and started chatting. My husband and I learned that he, his two brothers and his son are the owners of this franchise and that there are 43 locations. I had no idea there were so many. This location has a few tables and chairs, but patrons predominantly just do carry out. We are ecstatic to have our favorite fried chicken franchise so close to home.

Service was friendly and expedient . The place looks clean & orderly. It's mainly takeout but you get in & out quickly. I can hardly wait to try the fish

Continuing alphabet series representing 2025, R is for Raising Cane's. Sadly but not surprisingly…read morenothing to represent the letter Q. However, the prior P is for Playa Bowl in Baltimore County was in Q is for Quarry Lake, so the location coincidentally started with Q. I believe Raising Cane's in Columbia was the 3rd location in Maryland to open. First was Towson in early 2023 I think, then Gambrills in Sept. 2023 (went on their 2nd day; see my 5-star of them), and then Columbia in early 2024 I think. The first time I visited the Columbia location was in March 2024, where I redeemed a green leprechaun lemonade, but I had already eaten or had other dinner plans. My first visit to get food was in July 2024. This was my girlfriend's first time at Raising Cane's. She loved it as did I per the other times I had in the past including the first time trying them in AZ in mid 2010's. I visited Cane's Columbia a couple of other times in the past two years. Always great chicken strips, fries, & Texas toast. I'm not a big coleslaw person, but I like theirs ok. I normally get half sweet/half unsweet tea, which is delicious freshly brewed. It's often busy, but staff is cordial, and pretty organized and efficient.

The chicken tenders were the highlight of my meal. Hoping for a better experience on our next visit.

Came to the Columbia Mall location while shopping…read more I've had this chicken before while in College Park, and hoped it was still as tasty. The staff were pleasant the the ambiance was to be expected in a food mall kiosk. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken with plantains and a drink. The chicken was fried fresh with a great seasoning. The plantains were good and the mango drink was tasty as well. All in, still the same taste as the one in College Park so I will be visiting it again in the future.

He told her that online it said that they open at 10. She informed him that she had previously requested that the hours be updated online. She said that although they weren't open that they were cooking the chicken. She took his order early, even though they weren't open yet and offered him a small Horchata while he waited. He ordered four piece chicken, two white and two dark and for the sides, beans and fries. Instead of rolls, he asked for tortillas. When he arrived home instead of the four pieces he purchased, he received five pieces of all dark meat. He dislikes dark meat and was very disappointed. This was our second purchase at this location and is the second time they messed up his order. Although he was upset, I didn't mind since I like dark meat. :) I got two extra pieces since he only ate one piece. Unlike our first visit, the chicken was fresh and piping hot this time. The staff are apparently inattentive as they have not gotten the orders accurate during both visits, however, they made up for it by providing good customer service today (letting my hubby place order early and offering him a horchata while he waited). Given that they don't know the difference between white and dark meat, it is highly recommended that you check your order before leaving if you placed your order for carry out.
