After waiting longer, I spoke with an employee, who went to the back and confirmed that our order hadn't even been started yet! So, I very angrily demanded a cancellation and refund. Come to find out, they do all of their online orders through DoorDash, so we can't even get refunded, even after calling for an hour. The staff were completely not helpful, some of the worst customer service I have ever seen, and I have no plans to ever go back there again.

The other staffers were giving me the side eye too. For asking her to wash her hands or wear gloves to prepare my meal? The ambiance was judgy to me at that point like I did something wrong... Do me a favor, don't go here. FYI: They do not give refunds so you have to go through your credit card to get a refund. I got a large rice platter with mixed chicken and lamb. The shredded chicken was okay; could have used more seasoning or something, but that's why they give you white and/or red sauce. The lamb was basically cubed gyro meat, which I enjoyed; I would get a platter of just this next time. You can add as many toppings as you'd like, including onion, lettuce, tomato, chickpeas, pickles, and hot peppers. Make it what you want. For $9.99 (as of 2025), that's a bargain for the amount of food you get. Overall it tasted pretty good. I think if I come back I'm going to try out the falafel and/or the fried chicken sandwiches. The folks are friendly and fast. The whole place, staff and clientele, seemed to be a melting pot of every ethnic group imaginable - Woodlawn baby, gotta love it. The workers have gotten a bit more rude; we had been waiting for our order for 45-50 mins at this point, and we asked if the order went through, because with the order taking that long, we weren't sure. I totally understand that the World Cup Final was playing on the big screen and they were a little busier than usual, but they gave my friend the most disgusted look when they asked how our order was doing. The worker retorted a sharp "can't you wait?" with an eye roll. I felt really bad at first for bothering them but it was also pretty rude of them to respond that way.
