Whole Grilled Chicken
Genesis T.

I go to Pollo Tropical if I'm craving for a tasty, marinated fire grilled chicken. You can order a whole grilled chicken, or order it with sides such as corn or corn tamale, white, brown or yellow rice, black beans, caesar salad or coleslaw, french fries, fried yuca, corn bread and plantains. They also serve roasted pork and fried pork chuncks, grilled churrasco streak, roasted rack of ribs, sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts like cuatro leches, flan and key lime pie. And i think more than 20 different sauces to choose from for your perfectly grilled, roasted or fried meat. Self service as you wait for your food after order and paying. Wait times depends because sometimes there are a lot of pick up for delivery orders. Casual ambiance and you can get as many sauces as you want or try as much sauces as you can. Check it out!

I appreciate the response, but the problems go back a couple of years. See the reviews as proof. When will customer service at this Pollo Tropical improve? Why the staff yelling at each other? Why rudeness to customers? Why no sauces? Why filthy restrooms? Come'on, do more than just offer words. Fix the problems. By the way, the older Spanish-speaking cashier who worked on Tuesday was very nice and helpful. He did not deserve the yelling that was directed at him by a woman who seemed to be in a supervisory position. She also wandered through the restaurant giving dirty looks to customers. Awful and rude!

I haven't been there for many years, I don't even know why. But honestly that's the healthiest fast food in the area in my opinion, a lot of chicken options and very affordable prices. I had a chicken wrap and yuca with cheese and I payed for it only $11 the quality is good too, even that the wrap was a little smaller then I expected but I was still satisfied! Service was pretty good and fast, even that it were 4-5 people in front of me I waited just 15 min more or less for the food. There is a lot of space inside and just a couple of tables outside, and always someone is making sure to maintain it clean. In general good experience!

I only came here because when I'm in LA and Vegas there's a place called Polo loco that I love to go to. This one is similar. It does have great chicken. It's juicy moist, just a little different. The service is okay but the staff is in the back arguing. You can hear them. The managers yelling at the employees talking crazy. Besides that, it's okay. They got a special that they have on Tuesdays. It's a it's pretty much a bowl. Black beans, rice and chicken and chicken is very flavorful. No sauce on it and it's really good. So I sat outside because it is Miami and a friend came and join me and watch me eat and was hoping I would drop something so I threw a little something after I left cuz if you do it before they won't ever leave

Service was bad! Employees order everyone around. Alvaro was helpful. Food was mid.

False advertising, look at the add versus the real plate. Plus the meat was terrible.

Boneless Chicken Breasts Platter Typical burned meal served at this location with attitude from cashier

They deserve zero stars and the bitter manager should be fired I was there Sunday first try they served me undercooked chicken breasts when I asked to replace them they served me burned chicken! This location should be a flagship for the chain but no they would rather serve you their attitude and substandard chicken! They also had no soda and served cans. You are on South Beach and with such plentiful choices skip this toxic food dump and go elsewhere

I am a regular at Pollo Tropical ever since I could remembered for yearsssss. This is my go to fast food and when I am in the mood for Latin home made food! I love everything here, and I love the new tropi chop chicken fricasse! What a nice addition to the menu. I love shredded chicken, and this one taste home made and has olives too! It taste like your Cuban abuelita made this with love.

TropiChop - Mojo roast pork, yellow rice with vegetables, and all the toppings

Good value for the amount and quality of food. Vacationing in Miami Beach, I was looking a fast-casual location kind of like a Chipotle. Pollo Tropical offered the chain with a Caribbean flare. I ordered the quarter chicken platter served with yellow rice and french fries. My chicken was a little dry, but the citrus marinade on the chicken was decently enjoyable. The yellow rice was pretty standard tasting but the garden vegetables in the rice kicked it up a notch. The fries were like normal fast food fries, but paired well with the wide array of sauces offered on the condiment station. The TropiChop (aka cheaper Chipotle bowl) was an excellent bang for my buck. Even though the flavors didn't explode, I can't really complain having paid only $7 and given a generous portion size.

This Pollo Tropical location on Alton Road in Miami Beach is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful food when you are in the area and need something quick. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything together. I have enjoyed all of the orders that I have made from here.

Hot key lime pie tossed around

Worst fast food experience to date. I placed an order online for pickup. Go into the store to pickup the order only to find a large group of people waiting for their online orders. Front counter employees were yelling at the guests and referencing us just standing around like cockroaches. They "ran out" of all sauces even though you can see the sauce jars in the back. Ordered a bunch of desserts with the meal and they were tossed all around and hot. Key lime pie should be cold. There was a big pile of already made online orders but the clerk refused to assist us. When new online customers came in, they got yelled at if they were supposed to know any issues prior. "I told you all, we out of sauces" I called to file a complaint with corporate. Zero follow up for done. No apologizes and no compensation.

Easily the best pollo tropical location I've been too. Usually always gets my order right and the wait time isn't bad like others. This is the best healthy value option on the beach with meals as low as $6 or $5 like the classic tropichop or the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans. I love saving $ and eating right so I recommend pollo topical, they even have vegan options too! Probably eat here 2-3 times a week, better than meal prepping. Parking isn't a problem, and they have a big dining area. Workers are nice and from what I see, they work hard to keep this establishment moving. 4 stars and not 5 because they are a fast food chain and I can't give 5 stars to fast food. Some homeless will be there but they don't bother you so don't worry, they're just trying to get that GREAT deal like you are! Enjoy!

It's literally just some cut veggies without dressing or any seasoning other than some dried cilantro. You do have to track down the waiters a bit but they will make sure your drinks are full and that you are otherwise taken care of. The ceviche and lomo saltado also looked incredible.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. Highly recommend... just be prepared to leave full and slightly considering a nap. 10/10 would happily destroy another Cuban sandwich there again.

The roasted pork was tender, juicy, and packed with savory garlic-forward flavor. The crispy edges added a nice contrast in texture, and the mojo-style seasoning brought everything together with a bright, citrusy punch. It was comforting, flavorful, and paired really well with the traditional sides. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the dining experience smooth even during a busy time. The vibe is lively and colorful, with a nostalgic Cuban café atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel festive and welcoming. It's a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone looking to enjoy classic Cuban comfort food. Overall, a really solid Cuban meal with bold flavors and generous portions. I'd come back to try more of their traditional dishes and cocktails.
