Mom's Pizza hits all the right notes. The crust is perfect--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sturdy enough to hold all the toppings. I ordered a classic pepperoni and added jalapeños, and it was the ideal combo of savory with just the right kick of heat. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Bonus points for the great soundtrack playing in the background--it really added to the vibe. When having a beach day and looking for an affordable option this place is a great option. We shared a cheese pizza between 4 adults and 2 kids and had enough for 2 slices each. Pizza was very solid and didn't take long to make. Only complaint is that they charged us for the wrong item and didn't offer a refund, just a free drink to make up for the price difference. Finalllly found a super super dope pizza shop in Miami SOBE! I will drive from my place to go here and I live in Wynwood area! Ok so it's late about 1am and it's still open with all kinds of choices of pizza. Slices: plain Chicken buffalo Chicken ranch Chicken bacon Pepperoni I forgot what else but more choices and it was all fresh and heavy loaded! Like I said I will drive back to SOBE for another slice! The guy Danny was super cool and the place was clean. A tad pricey for a slice of pizza, but they are large slices. The ones with meat are especially filling, so you only need to order one. I guess you're paying for the convenient location, closer to the beach. Buffalo Chicken Slice: I think this slice was like $10 all-in. It's got huge chunks of diced chicken, which seems to be a little fried, soak in buffalo sauce. It goes very nicely against all the cheese and sauce. Cheese Slice: I think this slice was like $7 all-in. Kinda your basic cheese slice, but large. There was one of those collapsed bubbles on mine, so that kinda took away from the exprience. read more

We were there a few years ago and the pizza was amazing. In a part of Miami were everyone wants gluten free this pizza place was one of the best meals we had while there. The price was cheap and the size of the slice was huge. I am very picky about pizza the sauce and dough has to be good and the toppings fresh. Wow, I don't like to leave bad reviews, but someone's gotta play pizza patrol around here. Suffice it to say I don't recall having a more tasteless and uninspired slice of pizza in recent memory. Not a single redeemable quality under the hood of this lemon, except for maybe the nice exterior. Bland pepperoni, generic tasting cheese, no perceivable trace of tomato, and although thin, a crispless play-doh derivative dough. Had it not been for the parm, crushed pepper and oregano, my bottle of Aquafina would have left a fuller flavor profile on the palette. And perhaps I'd be less critical of this poor excuse for a slice had we not been charged $8.50 per pizza effigy. Sorry mom, but I'd rather do dinner with a wire hanger wielding Faye Dunaway. We were both so committed to turning our culinary luck around, that on the way to our movie, we stopped at LIME on Alton Rd after seeing a sandwich sign outside (reads the same as in the pic). Bravo to LIME! Never had four dollars and thirty six cents admonished so much sin. Not only did we get a fab beef and chicken taco, but they loaded our take out box with homemade nacho chips and salsa. And their fixings station gave us enough grub to fill two more tacos. This spot had two slices that caught my attention from the jump & they satisfied my pizza craving. I went with the Meat Lovers & Buffalo Chicken pizzas. Both were incredible & would come back to have them again. The buffalo drizzle & chicken was at the right amount. Very big slice. Along with the Meat Lovers... The pizza was NY fabulous for sure. We had to wait over 30 minutes because there were several large orders ahead of us and only one guy working the entire place. He worked his @@ off. He never slowed down. He made the pizza and the wings, he took orders, payment, got the sides and drinks, everything!!! He was the absolute most patient person I've ever seen. Anyway, I had to wait for my turn because he deserved it. I thought, no slice of pizza is worth a 40-50 minute wait. But when we got the slice.... Yes! It was worth it. I did that, my order was accepted and over an hour later they canceled due to not having the item I ordered. Nothing like New York pizza. If you're not a local they will charge you additional bogus fees. Cheese pizza is $6.99 got charged $7.27 + tax + resort tax. When asked why the guy ahead of me was charged 6.99 the cashier said it was additional charge. It's silly it's not like the extra 28 cents is going to make or break the business. Spent a day in the water on the beach, and was craving for New York Pizza. City parking dictated that we park someplace and walk. Luckily, this place was one block away from our parking. Walk in, to a typical 1-2 person at-a-time counter ordering space. There were 2 x-large cooked pies under the counter ready for per-slice orders. We ordered a freshly made lg Cheese Pizza plus two slices of Pepperoni while we waited Super thin, non-greasy Pizza, New York style. We were so thrilled when we got our food, we were dancing to car. We sat there on Collins Ave in our parking spot and ate our Pizza. It was hot, fresh, tasty - SO Good! The shop was ran by a female worker, didn't her name. Seems and bit apprehensive, but she didn't know what to do with my friendliness. It's always funny to see associates who are less friendly than the patrons react to what I call "Reverse Customer Service". It was funny though, the more friendly I got, the more she reserved herself, maybe the manager needs to looks at that. But we were there for the Pizza...and the Pizza was good, even amazing! We really enjoyed it! So we will be back. read more

The fact that this is called "New York pizza" is insulting. This was some of the worst pizza I've ever had - even by Florida standards lol. The dough was so chewy and thick and the toppings were gross. A slice of pepperoni costs $8 which is INSANE. Yes the slice is big, but when it tastes so awful, who cares how big it is. I'm shocked by all the good reviews lol but I definitely would not recommend and definitely will not be returning even if I'm desperate. read more

This is good New York style pizza. The slices are huge and tasty. I visited this establishment three times on my stay in South Beach. It's situated in a small retail plaza across the street from Dream Hotel and stays open late. The guys who worked there were real cool and personable on every visit. The young people tend to hang out here but this is some of the best pizza near the beach. Five stars from a certified pizza snob. read more
