Down here in Miami for the first time and had to check out the shake shack. Service was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. There is a parking structure and some parking across the street. We have inside and outside seating and pretty quick service. Food came out fresh and hot and delicious. We stopped by today and ordered take-out. We got the Single Shake Burger with cheese. It was so delicious, as were the Cheese Fries! Service was friendly and quick. I've been patronizing the Shake Shack Restaurant in South Beach since it opened way back June 2010. It is the first Shake Shack location outside of New York City where it originated. They are known for their fresh, high quality ingredients and their gourmet takes on fastfood classics like burgers, hotdogs, fries and frozen custard. Delicious food, self service, and reasonably priced. Avocado Bacon Burger, Smoke Shack, Cheese Fries and the Chocolate Salted Caramel Shake were all good! What I liked about this location is that I ordered a lot of food and made a lot of modifications - and everything came out as I ordered it. That doesn't always happen. The other thing I liked about my visit is that the staff was friendly behind the counter and the food was delivered by what seemed to be the manager. This one has the same quality food and friendly staff, but I guess FL is missing the avocado bacon shack and there is no mayo available? Sticky point...this location needs to work on clean bathrooms, honestly, they needed attention bad. On another note, why is the ordering line out the door and no self order screens available? I'm not sure if they are only standard on the west coast, but it's easy in, easy out, lines move faster and the person behind the counter only takes orders if needed. Definitely room for improvement. Not sure why but when we ordered the beer - the Brooklyn brewing collab- the cashier didn't tell us that they were out. We didn't know till the waitress brought us our food and told us they were out and gave us our options. I think we can all taste the difference between high quality cheese and low quality and this one definitely is in the high-quality category. The shakes taste like they are made with premium ingredients. I have only ordered the vanilla one and each time it is so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. It is not nauseatingly sweet like some shakes I have had. Now the only disappointment I have had hair as the fries. Every time. I am so not a fan of the fries I cannot tell you. To me, they are severely lacking flavor. I really don't get it because to me, everything else is amazing. Well, I guess I haven't had that much of the menu.... I order the same cheeseburger and vanilla shake and fries each time. Since my last review eight years ago, Shake Shack and I have gotten pretty serious. It's arguably my favorite place for a fast casual burger. This location has expanded over the years and now has a lot more room inside, as well as seating outside. Things can get pretty crazy when it's peak tourist season but I've never had issues finding a place to sit. My favorite burger is undoubtedly the SmokeShack which is a single cheeseburger with bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and Shack sauce. It's the cherry peppers that really make the thing. I've also grown to like their fries. When made right, they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All of the ice cream creations are legit (milkshakes, concretes, etc) but I also appreciate a solid iced tea to wash it all down. They keep the menu interesting and currently have new chick'n bites on the menu, as well as a special Game of Thrones burger and milkshake. They no longer have the key lime pie concrete, but instead, rotate the pie that goes into the concrete (the last time I was there it was a salted honey pie). If you don't like burgers, they have a chicken sandwich, as well as hot dogs and grilled cheese. When ordering in line, food is typically ready within ten minutes. The service isn't over the top, but they are able to handle the crowds and for that, I'm thankful! read more

My first shake shack experience was about 7 years ago during a summer pop up in my old home town before Miami, Saratoga Springs NY summer horse race track, that's become a seasonal fixture at the track. I had never heard of it before, but looked into it and found out it was born in NYC. Now living in South Beach, I can walk to the location on Lincoln Road from my condo. This joint is known for its fresh burgers and stellar shakes. This is a great stop for a relatively cheap lunch on the go. Reminds me of an In-an-Out burger type of place, but not really?! It's nicer than a cheaper burger joint, I guess is what I'm saying.. No secret menu that I know about yet? But I'm sure that will eventually happen ;) The menu is relatively limited, and in the past month has added hormone free- range chicken nuggets to the menu. They are tasty, but my buddy and I noticed they are small and the breading falls off pretty easily when trying to dip them, which really annoys me! Lol There is a Shack Burger, a cheeseburger basically. A Smoke Shack, cheeseburger with bacon and shacksauce and spicy pepper relish. (My personal favorite) They offer a chicken sandwich and Vienna Beef hot dogs too. I always grab a Chicago dog too. Fries are crinkle cut and great. Try them with cheese, cheese and bacon, or with shack sauce. Quality burgers and fries and shakes for a quick lunch, not for the calorie Conscious! However I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped here to eat in a rush. I ordered the mushroom burger and it was delicious! Also the fries hit the spot. Well there is one small thing. Minor yet Major when it comes To final touches. The drinks are always made Before The Burgers so if you order one Of their incredible shakes it will Inevitably be half melted by The time the rest of your order Arrives. So I can't order a shake and I have to ask that my drink Which was the lychee hibiscus Lemonade be made again as I watched it sit melting for 25 minutes. A true disservice To otherwise stellar combo.
