We ordered the tripa and al pastor tacos, an asada burrito, botana a la cora, and a pineapple agua fresca. The shrimp in the botana were big and flavorful, although the dish was a little salty for our taste. The tacos were actually really good--full of flavor and well-seasoned. We were also surprised by how big the burrito was for the price; definitely a great value! The pineapple agua fresca was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. We also loved the large cups of water, a small detail that makes a difference! The customer service was very friendly and attentive, and we're definitely looking forward to coming back to try more items from the menu. Overall, this is a great Mexican restaurant! The only thing keeping it from a 5/5 for us would be a salsa bar--having different salsas to choose from would make the experience even better!

Based on the sign at the front register I thought I would receive freshly made tortillas but they definitely were not. They were giving Guerrero store bought. I expected more from a place that solely specializes in carnitas. I had high expectations of my carnitas and these were very white and lacked flavor which maybe is a sign of the times that not enough Manteca is used due to rising food costs and seems like they just boil the carnitas. "Están muy blancas las carnitas" is what my dad said. They lacked flavor. Unfortunately I will not be going again unless the recipes to make the carnitas, rice and beans changes or if the head chef implements some changes. Complimentary chips and salsa. The salsas were screaming! Fresh and the green salsa made my eyes water! Love it! This place has indoor and covered outside seating. Dog friendly! They also have another space in the back for events and more with another full bar ( 2 full bars total). They have bar seating and regular seating. Good for groups! Plenty of parking.
