I wanted to come in and like it so much! I couldn't stand being in the store for more than 5 minutes due to the overwhelming smell of a really bad artificial scent that made me feel very sick. Couldn't stay in the store if I wanted to. I would imagine anything you buy from there would have the same scent. I really wanted to make this a regular stop in town. Bummer. read more

I absolutely love Polly's! I've seen a previous review and I do not recall seeing empty spaces everywhere at all. Maybe if someone is sold out.. because prices are that good... some things are a bit spendy but I pass those booths and they are few. I am always greater warmly, the owner went out of his way to help me with an issue that I caused with my card that had nothing to do with the store... nothing bad to say at all! Sometimes I smell the scents but that's common in older buildings. Perhaps it's stronger on some days when it's renewed but it's always been a pleasant smell... I hate floral scents. I'd rather smell that than musty building smells. They have been working hard on refurbishing and if you have not been you need to go! read more

There were a couple of big things about this place that I won't be coming back for. The biggest reason is that there are the STRONGEST air fresheners or wax burners or something with the worst floral smell possible, all throughout the store. No matter where I went to try and get away from it, I'd round a corner and it would be worse. I had a headache for half an hour after I left. I should have left right away when I walked in and the smell hit me like a ton of bricks... but I figured I would get used to it. I was wrong. The second thing that doesn't have me running back to this place is the prices. There are a lot of empty and bare spots all through the store. They're in the beginning stages of opening etc so I'm not holding that against them and it's to be expected however just for a SHELF... to be a consigner of one tall bookshelf to put your stuff on for sale with 6" deep by 2.5 wide shelves... was around $85 a month. I was shocked. When I saw that, the high prices everywhere really began to make more sense. The people selling things are having to pay a pretty penny. With that said, maybe you'll find a gem in here if you don't care about very strong chemical fragrance smells or high prices. read more
