Polly is an excellent Doctor. I feal lucky to have found her. It took four tries with other chiropractors before Polly was recommended to me by a friend. I have been a patient of her's for about ten years now and my over all health is much better. When I walked into her office the first time I had severe sciatica, and some nerve damage in my neck due to an automobile accident. It took a a few visits, but I started to feel better. I must say that I was skeptical at first because of my previous experiences with other chiropractors, but Polly changed my skepticism. I know that I will never be completely pain free, but I,m so much better, and Polly has taught me how to manage what little pain is left. Polly is a true healer, I rely on her for more than just spinal adjustments. When I saw her for the first time I weighed 220 + lbs. with her help, I am down to 170lbs. and have my diabetes under control without medication. I count on Polly for advice on all my medical issues. In addition to her expertise as a chiropractor, I have always felt that she truly cares about me not just as a patient, as a person, I consider her a friend. I have wanted to do this review for along time, but just never took the time. To those that say she is just in it for the money, I say you are incorrect. I am on a very tight budget and she works with me so that I can continue to get the care that I need. She has an awesome staff working with her, and great people like them are not free. I have been going to Dr Polly for yrs, she's great. Her whole team are wonderful, caring & professional. I go for neck & back pain I've had since a childhood accident. I had been going to chiro's off & on for yrs. To my surprise, these regular adjustments helped my knee also. It was very painful & locking, I couldn't even bend down on my knees to dust bottom shelves, clean base boards, hook up electronics etc. Tho I can still feel my knee click sometimes, it is no longer painful nor does it lock! I know exactly when I need an adjustment, other than pain or tight muscles, headaches, dizziness & just all around feeling yucky. Once you know how good you can feel, you realize how bad you felt. btw & fyi, both Dr Polly & Dr Sheila have had serious medical issues, both these Dr's have lived thru a healing process, they know what they're doing. Not only would I recommend anyone to get a medical "second opinion" from them, I do, on a regular basis. Surgery should be the last option, not the only (except in trauma perhaps) or immediate easiest. Do keep in mind, w/ surgery, you sign release forms, you acknowledge & accept the risks, after the surgery, what's done is done. Having worked at a hospital, I've heard many say after a back/neck surgery it didn't really help much or made it worse. Either way, the invasion & recovery are the same. After long years of hard work, and a few more of just not taking care of my self, I was a mess. Most of my medicine may have helped, but mostly it just chased symptoms for a bit. And then I went to Polly's. I checked it out starting with a massage, And listening to people. I liked the office. When I started treatment, my x-ray looked like a scenic country road :it went everywhere. My neck made an abrupt left turn. I lived on Advil for aches, and aspirin for headaches. I had stronger stuff but I really hate that. Not any more. I'm still a 75 year old man, but now feel 60. My back gives me little problem and even shifts back in line quickly. If I don't act rambunctious, I manage to accomplish more on any given day. I'm not the only one of her patients feeling this way. By necessity, patients all meet and it feels like family. I was very skeptical and anti-chiropractor until my friend recommended Polly's Chiropractic to me for my chronic TMJ, neck and back pain caused by stress and a past car accident. I figured I would give it a try but wasn't sure how it would go or how I would feel. It only took my initial visit to know that I was in good hands. I love that the people at Polly's really talk to me about my health and explain what is going on with my body, as well as what treatment program they are putting me on, how it works, and why. They educate you about chiropractic medicine so you can be an educated patient. They are also polite, kind, and caring. I am a teacher so my schedule is usually pretty busy but they always work with me and if I need to pop in for an adjustment they fit me in. They not only care about me as a patient but about me as a person, asking about my job, how things are going, they even checked in on me after my dad had surgery. I am at the end of my 4th week in treatment at Polly's Chiropractic and I can't say enough great things about this place!!! I was referred to this business through my injury case which they took from LA. The staff has been so compassionate and caring to my needs not only pertaining to the case, but in general to me as a person. As I have to go back and forth to LA for dr's visits and also take care of my mother here in AZ, they have been very accommodating to my schedule as well. While following Dr Sheila Sanders treatment outline I have definitely seen improvement in my overall health. I have been going to Pollys chiropractic for quite some time now I meet her at a different chiropractic sometime back and she decided to open her own business and what a blessing she has helped me with my back keeping everything aligned. I have had two major back surgeries and now i have problems with T 10 and 11 and she has kept me from having another surgery for now. Excellent! Thank you Dr Polly and staff for your amazing service. I came in on a recommendation for lower back pain that had gotten so bad it was causing pain in my feet so bad it was painful to walk. The x-rays taken showed so much going on and within 1 week I was already feeling so much better. The pain in my left foot completely went away and although I still have slight pain in the right I am no longer limping.
