Through my journey I have gained a lot of expertise in the biomedical treatment of autism symptoms and I can say that his recommendations are the best there is. His reports are very detailed and thorough. The supplements he recommends are the very best in terms of quality, but also from the perspective of ease of administration for a child. Now, if this is your first biomedical consult, you might be overwhelmed by the number of supplements he recommends. The way I look at it is he puts everything on the table so you can take over as Dr. Mom/Dad. This saves you money. I just read a Dietitian Visit form that was fax submitted by Dr. Hellyer to my primary physician about my walking out of his office while waiting for his service. Was I early as he claimed? Yes, 5 minutes! Aren't we supposed to be? Did he come out and acknowledge me and tell me he was still with his patient and would be done in a few minutes and will be right out? Yes, he did. However; I waited 22 minutes for this man to come out of the office and be done with his previous appointment. BUT, that was NOT the entire issue! I was only his second patient of the day. His appointments are very strictly 60 minutes only! I was clearly reminded of that by Britney. How on earth does his assistant call me, when I'm getting up from my seat to leave, while still in their front room, and tell me that I am 20 minutes late and if I want to still keep the appointment that the doctor could only see me for 30 minutes. This is why I walked out! Wow, you are late and want to take time from my appointment? I could hear every word of his conversation with his patient before me. Absolutely no privacy. Then, in a faxed report to my primary doctor for what happened in my walked out appointment, Dr. Hellyer stated that I wrote a review online about him being late. Really? This review comes from your nonsense to stoop to that level when you, Dr. Hellyer were the late one with no co-ordinated organization with your office staff while I sat waiting on you! Ronda changed my life. Simple as that. When I came to Ronda I could barely get out of bed to go to…read morework - I would often have to call in and let them know I was going to be a couple of hours late. When I got home I would lay on the couch for hours. I could feel my body slowly shutting down. I had figured out that it was gluten and grains that had done the damage (thanks to watching a recording of Ronda speaking from a conference about the symptoms) but while I had stopped most of the damage by removing them from my diet a few months previous, I didn't know how to actually help my body heal. I loved how confident Ronda was that she could help me when I had been feeling utterly powerless, especially after I had visited a doctor who agreed to test my iron levels and then just sent me home with no advice or help to offer.It took me about 6 months to really get on top of things. We went through each organ in my digestive system starting at the top and got things functioning again. It's insane the difference and it scares me to think where I'd be now if I hadn't seen Ronda. I believe I first saw her in 2013, and not only did she guide me through repairing my entire digestive system, she taught me simple criteria that still define how I choose to eat today. Her staff is so kind and truly goes out of their way for you! Even though I now do my appointments via telephone (because I'm out of state) I still feel like they are right there with my encouraging me and holding my hand through this! They speak from experience on many of the things I was dealing with as well as the treatments she prescribed! It's super encouraging to know someone's there cheering you on and that they have been there and have had victory! I can honestly say I'm already feeling better and noticing changes! I left feeling encouraged and empowered to make good decisions! I've prayed for breakthrough and help for years and God answered it through dr. Ronda and her staff. Having a dr. Afterwards, I contacted my Medicare advantage carrier and found out this response was completely inaccurate, that there are no prerequisites for being seen by a dietitian. It is my understanding that the carrier reached out to the clinic to clarify, but did not receive a reply to several voice mail messages. Not sure whether Medicare or the disability caused this misinformation to be communicated, but my trust was lost immediately.
