Loved the Sin City Pizza but got one yesterday the crust was awful. What has happened? Does not taste like fresh made dough!

This place was recommended to my work crew by a local for lunch. Excellent recommendation! The food is undeniably fresh. I ordered a roast beef, and sat with my crew who had ordered before me to wait. Waiting was painless because the restaurant's interior remodeling was so intriguing to look at. Industrial-modern? I'm not an interior decorator so it is hard for me to explain, but it works very well here! That, and checking out what other people's food looked like. Hand-cut fries, fresh salads with the greenest lettuce I've seen at any lunch place in at least two years, beautifully fried seafood with a light, flaky batter that shows the staff change the oil out regularly. Good signs! When your order is ready, someone will call your name and bring it to your table. A nice touch. My food was excellent. My crew was very happy with the freshness and portion size of theirs also. I will definitely be coming back here! Side note: parking is difficult to find in the entire lot during peak hours. The lot is shared with a small grocery store and other businesses. If you have anything larger than a work van, your best bet is to park at the town parking area a block away (across from the Citgo gas station next door). read more

7.00 for a side salad with 2 pieces of chicken, roast beef sandwich( was supposed to a sub) was dry and flavorless. Chicken kabob sub was good but not much chicken. I ordered poppers and asked if they were cream cheese or cheddar ( I hate cheddar) I was told cream cheese I got cheddar. All in all very disappointing. I have been a Celiac since 2006 and have had my fair share of cardboard breads and pizzas at ridiculous prices. Just wanted to get that out there asap. Going into Pomodori's for the first time today, apparently the only one not tainted with expectations from the previous business, I was pleasantly surprised. Working at sub/pizza shops in all positions (including one in Georgetown years ago), I am rather picky and judgmental of places like this. Not only I, but my friend as well, was pleased with the sanitation, e.g. very frequent glove changing and true knowledge of gluten and contamination issues. A little after noon on a Sunday, it was slow. I came in to indulge in a gluten-free pizza. They have separate pans, cutters, and set-ups for GF products. The two front staff were very pleasant and read back my specific order twice. Prices were in the median of gluten-free products. Not the cheapest, but not as expensive as Flat Breads by any means. The food was brought out to us and our trash was taken away by a lovely worker, unexpectedly. This is not a wait-staffed restaurant, but apparently during at least the slower periods, will be treated similarly. The gluten-free pizza was chewy and crunchy in all the right places. I have never been treated to such a "normal" tasting pizza in my nine years of GF-pizza searching. Uno's is acceptable, Flat Breads is good yet pricey, and homemade pizza takes the extra effort. The cheese was yummy and the toppings crisp. The crust had an almost pretzel like look/feel/texture/taste. Yum! I was going to leave a review, maybe later, but tonight as I am finishing my leftovers gluttonously, feel the need to spread the word. Maybe this place isn't like K's or any other restaurant you've been to before, but one thing for sure, this is Pomodori's building it's own name for itself. Pomodori makes trays of food you can order for parties. My husband had to host his softball team dinner so he ordered a half tray of meatballs and a half-tray of sausages, peppers and onions. Despite the order being placed well in advance, the food wasn't ready at the scheduled pick-up time. When we opened the trays, we couldn't find sausage among the thickly cut peppers and onions. It looked like they only put one sausage in the pan! It was inedible. I called Pomodori to complain and was told the manager would call. He didn't. We will never go back! read more

I ordered a kids steak tip meal off the menu I had at home. When I arrived the total seemed more than I expected. I was told the price is now $9.99 for the meal. The menu I had stated $6.95. I understand prices change but $3 increase! When I got home I realized the meal only had two small steak tips with some fries. Can't believe they are charging 10 bucks for two steak tips with a few fries! I called to speak with the manager. I left my name and number and never got a return call. I was a loyal customer but with this price increase and less food. I plan to take my business elsewhere! read more

The food is fair but usually decent enough for take-out when you don't feel like cooking. I'd give it 3 stars for the food if it weren't for the overall cleanliness and the relaxed-to-no Covid guidelines in place. First off, the floor was so sticky my shoes made noise with every step I took, and the entire waiting area needed a full wipe down and cleaning. I don't want to think what the kitchen looked like if the customer area was so dirty. Regarding Covid guidelines: Every person working behind the Plexiglas that's been installed in front of cash registers had masks, except they were all around their necks. The six people I saw working in the kitchen (which is behind the cashiers and visible to customers) weren't wearing any masks, gloves, or any PPE whatsoever. Everyone was shoulder to shoulder at worst, and 1-foot apart at best. When I first walked in to pick up my take-out order (which wasn't ready even though I was 10 minutes late picking it up), there were two customers who had masks on below their noses. Both brought their masks down to their necks to order and never pulled them back up. A couple minutes later, another customer came in to order, realized he didn't have his mask on, and turned to go get it, but the cashier assured him, "That's ok," so he stayed in the store and ordered and waited without a mask. Another customer then came in (and blocked the only entrance and exit) and was beginning to bring his bandanna up over his nose and mouth when he noticed the neck-mask couple and the no-mask man, so he shrugged and never bothered to cover his nose and mouth. I would like to preface this review by saying that I am going to return to this place and try several other menu items. This review is based solely on their pizza and the service on the phone. Ok, the pizza and the service. Not good. I ordered 2 small pizzas to be delivered to my girlfriends house at about 8:40 PM the other night. The girl who answered the phone seemed mildly inconvenienced, and stopped me mid sentence when I explained I wanted a delivery, and asked how close I was to the store. (Less than a 1/4 mile) I heard her arguing with the delivery guy about if it would be convenient to accept the order, thankfully he relented! My lucky day apparently in the Pomodori delivery lottery! Needless to say that could've went better. Now the pizzas... 1 Small cheese, 1 small veggie with roni. 26 bucks and some change. Ouch. 30 minutes or so later the guy shows up. No warming bag for the pizza, (obviously the kid wanted this to be his last delivery for the night), hands me 2, 10 inch boxes... 10 inch pizzas... And honestly, I didn't care about the size, just please price them accordingly. 30 bucks with tip for like 15 mouthfuls of pizza seems a bit extreme. Unfortunately those mouthfuls kinda sucked. Crust was floppy and obviously placed on a pan with holes in it. The veggie was wet as could be somewhat expected because if the toppings. But the cheese was kinda meh as well. I told a few people about the order and they swear by the place so I'll give it another shot, I seriously hope the subs are better... Seriously, go up 2" in your small, get someone on the phone that isn't in high School and values my business, stop letting the delivery guys run the flow of your kitchen by telling the phone girl when and where and how late he feels like delivery to and we should be cool. I'm quite sure this didn't happen under the eye of a manager. But as we say in the big leagues, "this is a coachable moment"... The good news is I'll be back for another shot... read more

Hidden gem! Georgetown is very limited in the way of food. I often found myself unhappy with the regulars like Village Pizza and the like. Pomodoris has a decent size menus with many options from pizza to actual steak or fish dinner. The pastas have a good tomato sauce and meatballs that taste of garlic. The wings have always been great but often with a little too much sauce. The fried seafood dinners are resonantly price and just as good as Woodmans. This has become our weekly go to restrurant for good food at a reasonable price. Sunday night is wing night! read more

Ordered a roast beef with cheese and mayo and french-fries well-done. Received a roast beef with burnt meat, sauce (no cheese) and soggy fries. I told manager about the problem and her reply was "oh, these girls are all new here." I asked for a refund for which she took my receipt and said "we can't do it now, but will do it soon." Soon never came as I called back twice to no avail. Had to dispute with credit card company. In their rush to open and grab the money (typical small business greed) they forgot that they have to provide something of value in return. NEVER AGAIN! STAY AWAY! Cardinal Sin...lie on on your website and menu. Clearly says open Friday until 10pm. Just called to order at 9:20 pm told delivery stopped and weren't taking pickup orders either. So I guess that means they stop working an hour before they state on their site and menus. So this place can't be trusted to come through. They basically have no set hours and play it by ear. You know it's good when the hubs(who is a chef) says he'd drive down from Kennebunkport just to eat here!!! The onion rings are the BEST we've ever had!!!! I had a large roast beef sandwich the roast beef was rare but not bloody to make the bun soggy and a mess, lots of flavor & simply delish! Their Italian was fabulous of course I had to take a bite of the hubs.... Believe it or not so many places can completely butcher an Italian, this was NOT the case here!!!! I ordered take out for the first time last night from Pomodori, in Geirgetown. I really had a craving for pizza and ordered the Pomodori special. This was the WORST pizza I have ever had in my life. The frozen supermarket pizza is better! Don't throw your money away, there is better pizza, although not great, in Georgetown. Pomodori just opened in Georgetown and I'm a fan. The renovations they did to the space is beautiful! They're serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Between a couple of us we got a couple of subs & salads, french fries, and a cheese pizza. Everything was delicious! I'm glad they decided to expand to Georgetown. I only wish they had a liquor license so I could have a cold beer with my pizza when I decide to eat there! read more

Got mini kabob and steak tip salad. It included only 1 grape tomato. 1 slice of cuke and 1 olive. The 1 steak tip was not a bit tender and the chicken was ok but not much of it. The house desssing tasted like mostly mayo. Couldn't eat it. Never order a salad there again. How can you mess up a salad!!! read more

Super roast beef was far from super, except for the price. Close to 8 bucks for the sandwich which had about 4 Oz of beef on it. The beef was dwarfed by the large onion roll that was missing the onions. Go to Nicks across the street if you want a legit roast beef sandwich. Their super beef is overflowing with med rare beef and the onion roll actually has onions on it. Plus the price is about 2 bucks less. read more

Pretty solid overall. Gives Georgetown a great option with multiple items. Mostly get the salads, chicken kabob, honey chicken etc. the girls at the counter are always pleasant, if I had a bad thing to say it's that the amount of chicken or steak I. This place is generally not too bad. Nothing great but the place feels clean and food is pretty good. One day I ordered three items for pick up and it cost about 4 dollars more than listed board and menu prices. Turns out my wrap listed for $7.50 is now over $9, as one example, and when I asked why I was told costs increased so did prices, however they do not advertise these price changes. If they had, I'd probably go elsewhere as tipping the scale for a wrap that's more than 9 bucks. That's a pretty significant increase in prices. read more

Great place to go during work to grab food that will be ready, consistent, and finishable (not a word?) during an hour long lunch break. Not bad but nothing really wowed me. One of my places to get pizza and get there food very often. This experience lastly was TERRIBLE !! Try to call6 times no answer so had to go to the place to order. Spent 1 hour waiting for my food, I had 3 pizza and jalapeno poppers. Came out with everything but 1 pizza. They made another pizza and 30 minutes of awaiting for the last pizza and made us pay for the pizza. Not a good choice read more

Only two things I've tried from their menu are the chicken and steak kabob salad and their grilled chicken guacamole wrap. Absolutely delicious! Salads are a hit or miss and this place has great salads. That wrap is also to die for. read more
