Sissy and I went to Pomodori for dinner. They have your usual subs, pizza, plate entrees etc. If you prefer to dine-in, they have plenty of seating. I ordered their chiptole chicken sandwich, you can get the chicken either grilled or fried. The chicken was well cooked and the bread held everything in place. Chiptole sauce was fine but not as spicy as I thought it would be. Curly fries was cooked right but needed a bit more seasoning. Overall I rate my meal 7.5/10. We also ordered pizza and that was done really well. Crust and the sauce was perfect. Pizza is 10/10.

My friend is an avid beef man, a connoisseur some would say. He was in the Georgetown area and knew what he needed. A beef. He found Pomodori and grabbed one for the culture. Ordered it sauce only and sent a photo to a friend and myself. We asked how it was, to which he gave it a 2/10... he was so upset that he said Amanda, we need to yelp this. Pomodori we hope best for you in the future, but damn, this one was... lackluster to say the least.

Even during lunch, the place was busy, which is always a good sign. The shop is small, with separate lines for ordering and pickup, and everything ran smoothly. I ordered the Uncle Stevie, and it took about 15-20 minutes, but it was clearly made fresh to order. The staff did a great job calling out names so no one missed their order. I took the sandwich back to work, and it was excellent. The house-roasted top round beef was tender and flavorful, the roasted shallots added a nice sweetness, the black pepper mayo brought everything together, and the focaccia was soft with a great texture. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the sandwich was well balanced without feeling overly heavy. It's easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. If you're in Marshfield and looking for a great sandwich, Mae's is definitely worth the visit. I'll be back to try more from the menu.

I got the Uncle Stevie which was outstanding. What made it was the roast beef which may be the most tender and perfectly cooked that I've ever had. On my first visit, I had a breakfast sandwich, and when I placed my order with the barista behind the counter, she asked for my name so that the guy on the grill in the kitchen could call me when my order was ready. Same thing the next morning. And on the third morning, I was greeted by name. She remembered me! That's really good customer service. The baked goods really are first rate. I was only able to sample a few but my guess is that everything on display is amazing. I was able to sit outside at one of the tables, since the weather was so nice. Rowley is a quiet town, a real, old, historic place especially on a Sunday morning and I felt like I had gone back in time. I don't know when I'll be back in that area again, but if I'm within 30 or 40 miles of Three Sweet Peas, I'll be back!

We'll go back for pastries but not lunch.

The pork belly sandwich special was an unforgettable mouthful: juicy, cheesy, and perfectly stacked on toasted rye that added the ideal crunch. We were shocked (in the best way) by the salad portions--massive! Easily enough to feed a family of four, and fresh as can be. The cornbread? Soft, sweet, and heavenly with the honey butter. We did think a little toast would've helped that butter melt just right--but still a must-order. The house pickles were crisp with the most satisfying snap and bold flavor. We also tried the hush puppies with their unique dipping sauce--super creative, though not totally our vibe. Limited seating means you might wait, but trust us--it's absolutely worth it. Booth or table seating. The Rusty Can is a flavor-packed experience from start to finish.

Ya know, I once navigated to this place on accident before? Yeah. Still not sure what my GPS was…read moredoing that day. Because I normally go to the one in Salem. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
