Hey Ya'll, it's me your neighborhood foodie back with another review and this time I'm in Georgetown, Ma at Pomodori. I'll get right to it. The surf and turf bowl 10 out of 10. Plenty of shrimp cooked perfectly, the rice pilaf (never was a fan until I tried Pomodori's) and black beans seasoned to perfection. The greens were fresh and the guac on point. I also ordered wings because it was WING Wednesday! I only like flats (if you know you know) which the young lady at the front was kind enough to do and they were yummy too. The customer service and the food was great. Did I mention the place was clean as a whistle. This is definitely a place worth driving to. read more

This was my first time ordering from Pomodori. I ordered a break with a chicken and steak tip combo. The chicken was great, and the steak tips were awesome. I'm not sure of the marinade, but it is definitely a go-to next time. I also ordered a large salad, and I saved half for the next day. Support the locals and give it a try!! read more

Sissy and I went to Pomodori for dinner. They have your usual subs, pizza, plate entrees etc. If you prefer to dine-in, they have plenty of seating. I ordered their chiptole chicken sandwich, you can get the chicken either grilled or fried. The chicken was well cooked and the bread held everything in place. Chiptole sauce was fine but not as spicy as I thought it would be. Curly fries was cooked right but needed a bit more seasoning. Overall I rate my meal 7.5/10. We also ordered pizza and that was done really well. Crust and the sauce was perfect. Pizza is 10/10. read more

Online ordering is a hot mess! I placed an order at 1:45 for 4:45 delivery for a party. At 5:05, I called for an eta. They say "maybe 35 mins. They're short on drivers and if I can come pick it up." I say "ok, is everything ready now?" They tell me "no, only some of the order. Wait 35 mins." ??? I ask "what is ready and what is not?" Then I'm told "forget it, your food already left." (Not true) After approx. 35 mins later, at 5:38, I receive a text that my food is on its way. It arrived at 5:48. The driver was super sweet and not her fault but this was a disaster for my party. I went in to pick up food from Pomodori Georgetown, but when I got home and unpacked the order, I noticed that the soup had been placed upside down in the bag, causing it to spill everywhere on my table because the cap was soggy all the way through. I called the restaurant and politely asked if they could replace the soup and the large curly fries that were covered in soup due to their mistake. I made it clear I wasn't trying to cause any trouble--just seeking a reasonable resolution. However, the manager was incredibly rude and refused to help. He argued with me, saying that while I could come back to pick up a new soup, they wouldn't replace the fries. This is after the original staff member had taken my address and promised to send the replacement via delivery. When I mentioned this, the manager still refused, insisting on no compensation or resolution. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely disappointing. It's clear this business doesn't value customer satisfaction. You lost multiple loyal family customers tonight. I will stick to Pomodori Newburyport. read more

I bought a slice of pizza a single slice. I have been waiting for forty minutes and it is still not here. They said it will be ten minutes because they ran out of cheese. My friend is an avid beef man, a connoisseur some would say. He was in the Georgetown area and knew what he needed. A beef. He found Pomodori and grabbed one for the culture. Ordered it sauce only and sent a photo to a friend and myself. We asked how it was, to which he gave it a 2/10... he was so upset that he said Amanda, we need to yelp this. Recently stopped in and grabbed some food and was quite pleased with my visit. Food was delicious, and in this ever growing time of inflation, I felt the prices weren't too bad. The girl behind the counter that took my order was quite helpful, and while they seemed to be very busy, I didn't feel like I had to wait too long nor was I feeling like just another customer. Restaurant was clean, well lit, and if I may say so, the woman behind the counter, in the middle, was quite stunning...Will definitely be back for the food, and to see her smile as an added bonus read more

Recently tried their new Baja bowl and boy it was delicious, perfect size portions and price was fair for the size. Staff is always provides great service and i have yet to see a cleaner and more organized restaurant similar to theirs! read more

We needed to schedule a big order for a working meal for about 12 people, so we called a few hours ahead. We told them we were ordering *now* but wanted delivery at 4pm. We also asked that they right the person's name on each sandwich/salad, and the person we spoke to said they couldn't do that, but would write what the sandwich was on the sandwiches instead. Really? Why couldn't you write "Eggplant Parm - Len" instead of just "Eggplant Parm"? The food showed up promptly at 1pm, interrupting our work (and also forcing us to reschedule our day). The food was decent: nobody hated what they had to eat, but nobody raved either. We probably won't order from them again next time due to the issues with service. read more

Great sandwiches and breakfast. This long standing local and independent restaurant is the best m. They have a great early breakfast that satisfies even the toughest critics. The afternoon is made for great sandwiches and my favorite is the Thanksgiving turkey stuffing sandwich. Pizza is pretty decent but they need to find a good gluten free crust offering. Our local neighborhood sub shop. Always consistent. Love the subs, boars head meat delivers. Staff is always friendly and DAMN do these people know what they are doing with wrapping up to go food. Ya know what I mean, when you take home subs and you get home to a soggy slobby mess with everything falling out. NOT POMODORIS. They are elite sub wrappers. I come here once a week with the same order 2 salads with extra dressing. I picked up my order and told the woman working at the register it was missing extra dressing. She gave me 1 and I told her I got 2 salads. She was extremely rude and looked at my receipt and said "well it doesn't say extra dressing." (After paying $35 for 2 salads). Of course it didn't say extra dressing because the person who took my order didn't take it correctly. Lost a customer over a side of dressing. read more

It's ok pizza. Chicken kabob salad is ok. Delivery takes forever. Take out you have to call an hour ahead. A ton of lettuce in the salad, not much of anything else making it overpriced lettuce basically. This recent takeout was interesting... One slice of my son's pizza was upside down in the box. I recently discovered this absolutely amazing hidden gem. A friend recommended Pomodori in Georgetown to me. I definitely owe them a thank you. This place has it all. There is a large parking lot so you can easily park your car without fear of stepping out in to traffic. It is super bright and clean. The Inside is very impressive. As soon as I walked in I was promptly greeted. After looking at their expansive menu I decided on a Steak and cheese and the Peter Pomo pizza. I had a seat in their large dining area and it was well above my already high expectations. Modern fixtures and tables. There are a few flat screen TVs on the wall that caught my eye as my order was being prepared. My order was complete and to my surprise they didn't shout out my order for the whole place to hear . They brought it right to my table. The steak and cheese was the best I've ever had. It was not this greasy mess you get at most places with the soggy sub dripping everywhere. Nope this was perfect. Next the Peter Pomo pizza. Just wow . It is out of this world. The dough was just absolutely amazing. You can taste how fresh it is. The blend of chicken, feta and onions like none I have ever had. It's like getting a gourmet pizza in Boston right here in Georgetown. Yes it's that good just not nearly as pricey. The owner came over to check and see how we were enjoying our meals. He already knew . It's was awesome. I really loved the hands on owner taking pride in all aspects of his establishment. I will without hesitation be back very soon. I ordered 2 pizzas as I left work, "ok that will be 20 mins", perfect it will be ready when I get there. I show up a few minutes early and pay for my pizza. I wait another 10 mins looking around watching all the orders come out for people arriving after me. Ok, I am now at 30 mins from the time I ordered. I wait another 10 mins, still no pizza. I walk up to the counter and ask about my pizza. This is now 40 mins, I'm told it's coming out of the oven. 10 mins later I am handed 2, $5 off my next order of $10 or more. I'm now at 50 mins no pizza. I am still sitting here in the lobby waiting, 5 mins before the 1 hour mark of ordering 2 pizzas and still no pizza. Needless to say, I won't be needing these coupons because I will never come back again. read more

Home made chicken salad. Place is clean (newly remodeled). Chicken kabob sub could have used one more piece of chicken on the large was needed. Flavor was good. Went to have breakfast on Sunday, greeted to a sign saying Breakfast has been suspended for the time being, don't know why. Jimmy K's was packed every weekend for breakfast. Got the pizza, it was tough. I wrestled with the slice to eat it. Got a large pizza, 1/2 meatball and they quarter the meatballs and didn't put many on. Got the chicken salad sub (home made) delicious. Rolls are always fresh and aren't freezer burnt. I will try again, I hope it was just new opening situations. read more

The margarita pizza should be taken off the menu... they just have absolutely no idea how to make it. Their crust, seasoning, amounts of cheese/sauce/basil and freshness of ingredients are all 100% wrong. The rest of the pizzas are ok. This is not a specialty pizza place, the style of pizza that will taste good from them is anything drenched in copious amounts of cheese but not something that requires a finer touch that the high school kids manning the ovens do not possess. read more

Pomodori is good, but it's nothing special. When you order pasta, you get pretty basic pasta and sauce that tastes like it's from a jar/can. When you order pizza, it's pretty generic pizza. It tastes good, the crust is good, but there's nothing unique about it. There are multiple pizza places in the area with better pizza, so we've been going elsewhere recently. The service is good at Pomo's, but we haven't rushed back there. They do deliver. They have good portions- the pasta was 2-3 servings. We will probably try the sandwiches there next, if anything. read more

I love this place for pizza and subs, although I prefer an Unos pizza. They have a large selection which is good for groups. The staff is friendly and very cooperative in explaining anything you have questions about. The fries are good. Nothing special, about like Wendy's or McDonalds. We prefer to dine in, they have a large Dinning area with TV's. They are also great with delivery. read more
