Don't recommend this place if you get an ingrown nail ! I've had 3 of these taken off all from a different podiatrist and this one was the 4th and I was completely horrified with the results ! This podiatrist really has my whole NAIL COME OFF ! Unacceptable!! He didn't even apologize he made the mistake of applying tooo much iodine very very very close to my root! Had he applied too much deep into my toe nail I would have lot my toe nail permanently!!! Don't recommend this place!!!! See pictures! read more

Great experience. My son is here from the Netherlands and needed urgent treatment for a very painful ingrown toenail. His treatment in the Netherlands a few months ago was totally botched and it caught up to him this week. I explained his situation to the office, they got him in and Dr. O'Neill and his staff did fabulous work! My doctor referred me to this place after I rolled my ankle. Went In and the visit was good. He checked out my ankle and I was in a lot of pain. I needed an mri to see what was wrong with my foot. 2 weeks later nothing... I had to call and check to see what was the issue. The requested the wrong thing. I had to wait another 2 weeks. Just to have the mri tell me my request has been denied. I called Pomona back and they told me they would have the doctor call them for a peer to peer and of course 3 days later no phone call. Do not recommend this place. You think this doesn't need an MRI? read more

Dr. O'Neill & his staff are the best! My husband broke his leg & was referred to Dr. O'Neill after his emergency room visit. For several weeks, Dr. O'Neill treated my husband out of his Pomona office, which is centrally located & offers plenty of parking. The doctor's front office staff, Allie, is very friendly, as is his main assistant, Melissa. The office is very clean & well-organized. There's plenty of reading material available in the waiting room & we usually weren't forced to wait more than a few minutes for our scheduled appt. Dr. O'Neill has an excellent bedside manner & is very thorough in his examinations. My husband's fracture was rather severe & we often had questions that would arise before a scheduled visit of which Dr. O'Neill was always available to address by phone. As a cash patient, we especially appreciated that his prices were so affordable. One trip to the emergency room cost more than all 5 of our appts with Dr. O'Neill combined. If you're looking for a good podiatrist who offers affordable care in either Pomona or W. Covina, Dr. O'Neill is a perfect fit! My son woke up in so much pain he was unable to walk. I took him with me to drop off his brother at school and on the way home decided to search for an orthopedic specialist in hopes they could see him right away. Pomona Valley Podiatry Group was the only office open at 8:15am and we happened to be nearby so I figured we'd swing by. I wasn't optimistic that they'd see him and thought maybe they'll have us come back later. The woman at the front desk was very welcoming, I explained to her what happened and she asked us to take a seat while she spoke with the Dr. Within minutes, the doctor agreed to see him, she had me fill out an intake form, verified his insurnace and before we knew it we were in an exam room. Dr. O'Neill, was a pleasure to interact with, he answered our questions, concerns, gave us what we needed and we were out the door quickly but without feeling rushed. I think we may have just gotten lucky that he had a cancellation, however overall is was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be seeing him for any future podiatrist needs. read more

Dr. O'Neill and his staff are a class act! Friendly, patient and professional, they create a comfortable environment in their pretty mid-century modern office space. I brought my 75 year old mom who needed professional care. Hers was not your ordinary pedicure. Dr. O'Neill treated her with dignity and listened to her history. He did an excellent job! The staff is friendly, accurate, and helpful. I also liked that I didn't have to wait long before seeing the doctor. Dr. O'Neill was awesome! I was very nervous about having a procedure performed on both of my toes. Although the shots were uncomfortable, the doctor did his best to ease my discomfort and once I was numb, he was able to complete both toe surgeries within a short time. He talked with me the entire time and had a good sense of humor, which also helped alleviate my anxiety. The recovery was painless for the most part and I'm very pleased with Dr. O'Neill's work. I agree with the great comments on this site and others. I have had foot issues over the years. Not many. Not serious. His staff is great. His partner is equally good. The waiting room is not crowded. Appointments are not crammed together. The appoints are on time. It is not hard to get an appointment--especially in an emergency. The last times I was there, Dr O'Neill, took time, even looked at my running shoes, made suggestions and just took time to chat. Fees are estremely reasonable. I great neighborhood office. read more
