Best authentic American/ Haitian food. Prompt service and courteous. They are welcoming employees. I loved the experience.

I love this place. I usually get what I am going to be cooking and eat it quickly…read more I like that you can buy one or two peppers instead of a pack of everything like ALDI. I have been going here for 2 years now. They started to buy bins of good and I do not really see anything good in those buys. I might be the only one but I liked it better when it just had produce and other food items. The people that work there are very nice. Bring your own bags to shop. Worth going and seeing what you think. I love their herbs there. They have lots of fresh greens too. They get a truck every day but you do not know what's on it. Give it a try.

Average quality, high prices. Their old location was bomb and this one is a dud…read more In my humble opinion, the pompano store rocked. 80% of their items were fair priced and 20% were great bargains! They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

As soon as you walk in, you see the cafeteria section to the right...having lots of Latin Food options. Empanadas, Puerco, rice, veggies, etc. The selection was really good but I did not buy anything from the cafeteria. Their produce section comes right after with some items very well priced like chayote squash about 50 cents each...to others not being that good of a deal. Like most places, you need to know your prices and unit cost to determine if you are getting a good deal or not. Lots of Latin American brands to choose from.

I have noticed that they have been taking over former Winn Dixie's which is the case in this Pompano Beach location. They serve what you would typically expect to find in a grocery store with an emphasis on Latin items. There is a cafeteria serving prepared foods, bakery, deli, meat, seafood, frozen items, fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples, and household essentials. This store has been completely remodeled inside and everything is bright, clean, fresh, and new. Staff is all over the store waiting to assist. They have a lot of sales to coincide with the grand opening. I spotted several products that were unfamiliar to me but I am excited to try. I always head to Presidente when I need Latin items that can't be found in Publix. Last week it was cotija cheese for street tacos and Mexican street corn. This new store is much nicer than the Presidente in Margate. It will be worth the few extra minutes drive to come here. It is nice to see a formerly abandoned space revitalized and contributing to the community.
