One, you could never get a call back or a response in messenger. Very hard to work with someone when communication is one way. Checks were to be ready on the 10th of each month, with a sales report sent via email. I left self addressed stamped envelopes to have my check mailed because it was a 45 minute drive one way to get there. I don't think my check was ever mailed on time, and each month you would wait and wait for a sales report. One month she was too busy to get checks out on time. I always felt that vendors came last. I gave her my 30 day notice prior to leaving. Granted, it was in December when I was leaving. But, I left a message the night before I was picking up, on the vendor facebook page. Her response was that my inventory would be left in boxes, in the alley. So, my inventory sat in an alley all night. I had 4 boxes out there. Once I got settled and checked in what was there, and what I had sold had been also checked off my inventory list, I was missing around $1200 in product. And I had a handful of pieces that didn't belong to me. I contacted the owner and her response was that there is nothing she can do. But if she comes across any, she would let me know. As for what I received that didn't belong to me, no response. I have reached out a few times since and it's radio silence. Yes, she has a beautiful store, and with the amount of stock, it can be overwhelming for a shopper. As a vendor, I do not recommend this place. I say, stay far away.

When I walked in the door, I barely received a hello from whomever was working that day. In fact, my presence was not even acknowledged the entire time I was in the building, past the weak hello. There are some cute things in this place, but I have to say, I would hesitate to leave any of my product there. It doesn't feel like a very friendly place to do business, if I'm not even acknowledged as a shopper.

During a recent shopping trip, I encountered a situation that highlighted this issue. As I was in dire need of using the restroom, I inquired about its location. To my dismay, I was informed by a disgruntled employee that there were no public restrooms available. Recognizing my urgency and the imminent risk of incontinence, a female employee intervened and kindly requested that I be allowed to use the restroom. Despite my gratitude, the employee remained dismissive and turned away. Subsequently, he contacted another employee via walkie-talkie to unlock the restroom door. In a state of panic, I rushed through the store, nearly damaging my clothing due to the prolonged nature of my urgency. It is perplexing that there are multiple stalls in the restroom, yet no single toilet is accessible. I suspect that this may be attributed to a lack of concern for customer needs or a preference for avoiding unpleasant situations. However, there are effective ways to address such issues. It is unacceptable that I had to endure such discomfort and distress(tears) in a shopping center to get help. Apart from this incident, I had no other complaints about the store.

There's no hidden staircase or door. Yes, they had a few mildly interesting things, but it was not an "experiance" to walk in to. When traveling or new to an area, I rely on Yelp to provide me honest reviews of local gems. Normally I don't leave a review if the place is less than impressive, but today I thought, other people rely on these reviews as well. Yes, we only drove a few miles for this and stumbled on an amazing shop a couple blocks away instead, but if we hadn't been in a wandering mood, it would have been an irritation. Not to say YOU might not find the perfect treasure, we simply did not.

Once I entered the shop, a lovely woman was working and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I learned that she is a vendor, and others are as well. One other woman that has a shop on Mound used to also be a vendor as well. She gave me a lot of information and showed me around some pieces. I found an adorable stool perfect for our kitchen. I also found a super cute plant table perfect for my hall by the front door. It matches my bench there perfectly. I was super excited. She told me that some vendors are also willing to negotiate a little on prices, depending on the items. I really loved one of the night stands and I was going to buy one, but I could not decide which would fit best. She suggested I take measurements and see which would fit better. She did not push me to make the buy. She told me to think it over night and if I were to decide to buy it, I could always call to hold it. She was super sweet and helpful. She even helped me carry my items out to the car as well. Both pieces are painted beautifully, and they even sell the paint in store. I will 100% be back very very soon!

It looked like a new store to the area so we decided to stop in and boy, are we glad we did. There is an array of fun and funky items for home, garden and gift giving to the person that has everything. I fell in love with all the re-purposed dresser drawers; they were so beautiful! The two women that were overseeing the shop for the day were very informative and pleasant. They are talented artisans that re-purpose much of the furniture that you'll see in the shop. Not only are they talented and friendly but they are generous as well. The owners and the employees give back to the community by donating furniture to Turning Point, one of the top woman's abuse shelters for the Macomb county area. You can even take a class so you can learn how to paint and re-purpose your own table, dressers, etc. The owner, Denise Schultz, provides music lessons to youngsters. This store and the people that oversee it are what is considered "the salt of the earth"; please come out and support them. If you live in the Macomb area please share this post so others can be made aware of this new addition. P.S. Their prices are very reasonable!
