Once I entered the shop, a lovely woman was working and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I learned that she is a vendor, and others are as well. One other woman that has a shop on Mound used to also be a vendor as well. She gave me a lot of information and showed me around some pieces. I found an adorable stool perfect for our kitchen. I also found a super cute plant table perfect for my hall by the front door. It matches my bench there perfectly. I was super excited. She told me that some vendors are also willing to negotiate a little on prices, depending on the items. I really loved one of the night stands and I was going to buy one, but I could not decide which would fit best. She suggested I take measurements and see which would fit better. She did not push me to make the buy. She told me to think it over night and if I were to decide to buy it, I could always call to hold it. She was super sweet and helpful. She even helped me carry my items out to the car as well. Both pieces are painted beautifully, and they even sell the paint in store. I will 100% be back very very soon!

There is an array of fun and funky items for home, garden and gift giving to the person that has everything. I fell in love with all the re-purposed dresser drawers; they were so beautiful! The two women that were overseeing the shop for the day were very informative and pleasant. They are talented artisans that re-purpose much of the furniture that you'll see in the shop. Not only are they talented and friendly but they are generous as well. The owners and the employees give back to the community by donating furniture to Turning Point, one of the top woman's abuse shelters for the Macomb county area. You can even take a class so you can learn how to paint and re-purpose your own table, dressers, etc. The owner, Denise Schultz, provides music lessons to youngsters. This store and the people that oversee it are what is considered "the salt of the earth"; please come out and support them. They offer delivery and can help you find the exact thing you want whether that's a bench made in the USA couch (our second purchase) or a Stressless motorized loveseat (our first). Something goes wrong a while down the road? No worries! They can look up your purchase history and quickly arrange repair. They have a lot of cute smaller home decor items, chairs, bedroom sets, dining sets, etc. too. Definitely pricier than average furniture stores... but so much more stylish and in my experience the brands they offer are built to last and they stand by what they sell. Highly recommend.

The store is full of eclectic and vibrant decor that will speak to the hearts of artists everywhere, ranging from clothing, to furniture, to toys and museum quality gifts. It has a variety of quirky finds that I've never seen before. The intention here is almost like a local gallery exalting each stunning piece of art, no matter how small. The pieces ranged from the very tiny porcelain dog, which was about the size of your thumb, to the very large bears, that were furry and taller than me. Colorful, diverse art dotted the walls and were displayed in all different living room themes for all different tastes and styles of home. This was a clever idea. You could picture the decor in your own home. "Buy local" is the intention here and deteriorating properties were bought up by the owner and given a stunning facelift to elevate the community. This was a closed down roller rink. There was also a cinema next door that turned to a gift shop and off beat eatery. The unique history of each is preserved in the original artifacts throughout. Being that this is art focused and unique, don't have the expectation of Walmart prices. Of course you're getting one-of-a-kind quality pieces that will make your heart sing when you see your selected art displayed proudly in your home. I found some foam stickers for the kids for crafting. Towards the back they have a bunch of yellow tagged items all in oen spot, where it is easy to find the deals. This is something I wish other thrift stores would do as well. They do have a small kids area and I found a bunch of things for 99 cents. They have some books, toys, and cds as well. The store is very clean and the staff was kind when walking in. The lines were not long and the store wasn't packed for a Saturday.
