It was rod holes and a crack in the walls that was letting some moisture in. I had to convince him to quote me a larger job, which he did do (just to be safe) and he was still the cheapest quote from the bunch. I chose him not because of the price (although he was the cheapest) but because he was the most knowledgeable and was not trying to sell me up. To the contrary he was talking me out of the job. It took longer then expected but I'm not upset about that since they seemed to have done a thorough job and were very attentive when I pointed out areas I wanted addressed.
