This place has a rustic cabin-like decor with basic amenities. Our room was comfortable, but the highlight was the awesome view of the lake. Each room has its own private patio and lake view. We enjoyed the freshly baked scones for breakfast along with coffee. The walls are pretty thin, but thankfully, there weren't too many guests at the hotel during our stay. Well..... the hubby hit our water line at our house so we headed on down to the hotel. I needed a bigger kitchen considering I would be cooking for a few days. This is room 10. The attention to detail is amazing with it's bear theme. Room 10's bed it like sleeping on clouds. read more

The morning coffee was spectacular. My son and I had terrible coffee everywhere we stopped or stayed at during our three-day run from southeastern Arizona, so the fabulous coffee was a welcome surprise. And the SCONES! Fresh, seemingly homemade, and these were the best I've ever had. Bar none. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. I believe the hostess was Cathy and she was great (sorry if I may have gotten the name wrong). Our room very nice with comfy beds and pillows. It was relaxing to sit outside on the deck overlooking the gorgeous lake while enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. This would have been a five star review, but the shower wasn't all that clean. It wasn't really bad, but nobody wants to find hair from the previous guests in the shower. Too late to call for assistance, so I pulled on my big boy pants and cleaned up. We appreciated the nice quality shampoo and conditioner as well. You don't find that in most places anymore. It's a little thing, but really important to me. I'll definitely be back. Maybe later in the summer. Maybe next year. Highly recommend. read more

Lovely motel with all the rooms overlooking the lake. Upstairs units have kitchenettes and private balconies. Beds were comfortable. There are plenty of sitting areas in the front and a barbecue. Cathy at the front desk is friendly and helpful. We stayed here so we could bike the Trail and the bike rental was just across the street and the path very close by. Nice to get back from a day of biking and relax on our balcony overlooking the lake. read more

Beautiful view and a sparkling clean room. Fresh-baked scones were delicious. Couple of warnings: 1. Be aware that there is no food available in Harrison after 6:00pm on weeknights. 2. As a result of damage done by cyclists cleaning bikes inside the room, all bikes must be parked outside in a bike rack. Despite our lock and motion alarms, somebody emptied my wife's rear bike bag. They say they are working out other options for overnight storage, but in the interim it cost them a star. read more

This is a nice clean lodge with a great view and just steps away from everything. We love coming here to relax and get away from it all and the small town forces you to do just that. We will be back again. read more

Wonderful, cozy accommodations overlooking the lake and, while we were there, complete with Osprey nest just out the balcony. All the units have private balconies and while you can hear a bit of the other guests, you will not see or be seen when you're out back. Clean and inviting, our lower-level king room had coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator, plus thoughtful touches like a corkscrew, binoculars, and a couple of books of local history and wildlife. Each of the rooms has a theme, and somehow manages to not feel kitschy -- ours was moose coasters, paintings, posters, bedspread, lamps, I am sure I am forgetting something. We were bicycling the Bitterroot Loop and this was one of our last stops, chosen to pamper our selves a little after a demanding ride with loaded bikes. We found ample bike parking just out front (you cannot bring bikes into the rooms, which was not a big deal because of the convenient racks right outside; I believe they also have secure bike storage if you ask). This is right off the Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes and almost right across the street from the fine bike shop/coffee shop across the street. Friendly owners and staff. I did have to reach out more than once to get our reservation, but it was worth it, and we would love an excuse to come back here in the off season and just hole up in a cozy room with coffee and wine and osprey, and do some short rides and walks along the trail. read more

Really nice place, great view of the lake. We had the corner suite on the second floor and it was spectacular. Harrison ID. is a quaint town on lake Cour d'Alene. There were families and children everywhere. It's a bit of a party town, but not overly excessive. read more

What a great little getaway! Went to ride on the paved fairly level bike trail and had a great time. The owners are terrific, they upgraded us because they could, it wasn't very busy yet...Stayed in a kitchenette unit, and could have moved in! Friendly place for bikes, and people. Its a small town, I suspect very busy in he summer, the lakeviews are spectacular. There were binocs in the room and we could watch the ospreys in a nearby nest...all in all, I cannot wait to go back...and we only stayed one night unfortunately. The town has it all on a small scale...one grocery, one art gallery, one, marina, one 72 mile bike trail, one great bike shop with rentals, and an ice cream shop and museum..quaint, and great place to relax! read more

Well a seemingly lovely place to visit... myself and my friends tried to have a great "girls" weekend. One of our party had a life or death family emergency and needed to check out a day early. Not only was there no compassion from the owner but she was charged for the night, even though at the end of the weekend, Sunday and also was scolded by the owner. The owner also canceled her future reservations without even telling my friend she was doing so. Two of our other parties returned from a walk to find their front door wide open and no sight of the hired help. You be the judge. We spend a lot of money on our girls weekend and we can just spend it elsewhere. We gather around 12 of us every year. read more

First time in Harrison. This lodge has a lot of character. The view out your room is worth the price alone. Slept all night with the lakeside door open. This town also has many nice stores and fine eateries. The marina is awesome and you can catch some fish. read more
