Came in an old warped plastic basket w/mini portion of coleslaw (not the best), fries or baked potato( was 4pm-told us no baked til after 5) menu states after 3pm. Then server comes back and says, " oh I didn't know we had baked potatoes now, thought not til 5) Maybe server should know what the heck they are serving! Also, special was shrimp (which server said they were out of) glad I didn't want any. Also, heard the cook saying, "we only have 1 bag of fish left"!! WOW on a Friday night in Wisconsin during LENT!! Of course the Bar fly female owner was there playing slot video games and cackling! She informed the server that the woman's bathroom needed TP! That there was barely enough for her to use. Which tells me she used the last of it and couldn't be bothered to replace it!!! Lazy Boozy Bitch!! My adult children and inlaws tried dinner mud summer 2025- half the menu wasn't available!! Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. They date back to the 1920s, and it's great to see them still in use. Inside, we found a lot of seating, a curtained stage for live music, a bar, and garage doors open to the Chain O'Lakes. The spring-fed lake nearby has beautiful blue green water and was busy with boat traffic on a warm sunny Saturday. We found some seats and the bar and ordered some beers. I noticed they also had cocktails and wine, and some nice glassware to compliment the beverages. We both ordered the Wanna Smash Burger: two patties with American cheese, thick peppery bacon, lettuce, red onion, and their ICC sauce served with kettle potato chips ($18). I didn't really want bacon on my burger, but it turned out that this was some really fine thick bacon, hanging well outside of the boundaries of the bun, and it was delicious. The access to the lake on a beautiful day makes this a great option for food and/or drinks. And they host live music, yoga, and other events well.
