A little off the beaten path, but worth the detour! We missed breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar, but were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu. We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. We ordered fish and fries to go. The fish was good but the fries were soggy and there were less than a small fast food portion. I called them and the bartender told me the manager (or owner?) was sitting right there, but he would talk to him and see if there was anything he wanted to do about it. He took my name and number. Apparently he is doing nothing because he never got back to me. We will order from the Ding from now on. read more

Owners were very rude, and wouldn't serve us food because we weren't 21. We're all 18 and we were just hungry, and that's probably why the place was completely empty. read more

Food is great, especially Tuesday is Mexican food, Taco salad, burritos and tacos etc........ Service is great. The ambiance is if you don't know anyone walking in, you will before you leave. We are a big family!! read more

We had a wonderful time at HBG! The food was delicious and service super friendly. Our family party of eight and baby came in on a Wednesday night. Their chicken salad sandwich special was yummy and my daughter and daughter in law who each had different salads said it was one of the best they had (loved how yum yum the chicken was prepared). The others either had sandwiches and wraps and all were pleased with their meals. We also got take out two pizzas one pepperoni and the other mushroom and I dug that crispy crust! We stuck around and played billiards and darts. The HBG is a fun time to hangout with friends and /or family and eating delicious foods. Enjoy! read more

Went for their Friday fish fry. The AUCE fish was good, my wife had the Perch , over fried and not that good. We had a choice of potato's. We had the Tater Totes which were deep fried and also over cooked. We both had soda on tap which was over filled with ice and watered down besides, not the best deal at $1.50 a glass. Refills were not offered. Had to go up to the bar to ask for a fish refill, they were not offered. Grounds were well groomed and the inside was clean. Staff was friendly but not volunteering to offer up any seconds on anything. read more

Weekend Bloody Mary bar is a meal on its own. Friendly staff and a good breakfast! Cold beer to wash it down. Enjoy.

Used to really enjoy dinner and drinks here, but the owner(female) has been increasingly more rude. Yelling at our kids for being too loud (in a bar), which they weren't. Then came new year's Eve. Showed up around noon for a band and some drinks. Brought a group of about a dozen friends. Around 4pm the owners completely intoxicated friend decided to start walking around the bar grabbing all the girls butts, with both hands! My friend Carrie yelled at him the first time, as well as two other girls in our group. By the second time Carrie grabbed him by the throat and pushed him away. Mind you this dirt ball was sitting at a table with the owner when he wasn't up being an ass. The third time he grabbed her butt her husband grabbed him by the throat and pushed him down, stating he had been warned multiple times by multiple girls. Now the owner walks over and starts yelling at our group, Carrie tried to explain to her what was going on and the owner said "you shut the fuck up and go over there"! Excuse the language, but this was verbatim. Then the owner told our group they had to leave. There was more banter from her in between but paraphrasing. Needless to say we left without more incident. That was the last time any of us ever step food in the hideaway again, unless of course it changes owners!! read more
