I understand that there may have been a sick puppy, but it is just common deceny and respect to let your client and patient know what is going on. We aren't from this area but we're traveling through with our 10 year old GSP. I had just taken her to our home vet ( who's been our vet for 20 years). Our dog had been limping on and off for months. Our vet diagnosed with arthritis and joint issues as she's very active. We called on a Friday and were told to come in on Monday and there's try to get us seen. We were hoping for an x-Ray as this was still concerning. They some how fit us in immediately on Monday and took a scan. Dr. Beach asked if we'd been to AZ. In the last little while. Yes. Dr. Beach somehow suggested it may be "Valley Fever". Labs were taken, and the results showed SHE DID. This was so amazing! Rather than anti-inflammatories we actually needed anti-fungal. Besides the fact that this was such a somewhat fixable issue, I have the clinics STAFF was so kind AT every turn. We are strangers and out of towners. The vet and office staff were seriously, so helpful to all our requests (for lab results, calls regarding pharmacy back home, copies of x-rays). All of the many times we called or had questions, everything was pushed through immediately and done in such a professionally and considerate way! It was so nice. Thank you from my bottom of my heart to this clinic and Vet for everything. The price was also more reasonable than our home vet. Just can't recommend them enough!! And a huge thanks to them!! The staff were friendly, professional, and thorough. The vet was confident and reassuring when he described the treatment options for intestinal blockage. Our dog was treated with fluids and meds, x-rayed, and thankfully passed the blockage as intended without the need for surgery. I also have Rains feet trimmed like a Poodle show dog.. for hygiene reasons and footing on slick floors. Prior to going to the Bark'N Lot I used the services of "Happy Pouch professionals in Kalispell for a year. They did an excellent job, just like Meagan does, but, it wasn't the $7.00 they charge for nail trims that sent me looking elsewhere, it was listening to Rain screaming at the top of her lungs repeatedly!!! I also took my daughter's Dachshund *Rocco with us, the sweetest most trustworthy mini dapple you can imagine, he rolled his lips, snared while having his nails terms. Happy Pooch groomers told both of our dogs to STOP BEING DRAMATIC!
