If you're looking for the opportunity to increase your knowledge on cocktail making and the reason why bartenders do (or don't do) certain things, The Liquor Lab is a great chance to go alone or with friends to get savvy on how some popular drinks are made and how you can make them at home. This is not a walk in situation. Tickets can be purchased in advance and this is a great idea for your office team building, bridesmaids or date night outing. Plenty of unisex bathrooms for customers and an overall good vibe. The instructor had to compete with this one lady who learned to whisper in a helicopter and an annoying laugh that would annoy anyone who hadn't already been drinking. So when you and your pals attend, maintain a non-competitive noise level so others can hear what is being said. There was a charcuterie tray to have some light bites. I do recommend that you eat before or afterwards. The materials you needed were explained with some background information on the ingredients and tools used. The art is commendable, the music was on par and I really enjoyed myself. There was no pressure to get it right as it's being made by you for you so just enjoy the moment. The instructor and the staff made themselves available afterwards to answer any questions or just to chat. I learned a lot about the area, other businesses they recommend and the people themselves. I feel confident recommending Liquor Lab to others. Thanks for having us.

The Liquor Lab! A little hard to find the main entrance on 2nd street. Only a tiny sign in the window. We ended up missing the door and walking past it. We had to go thru Coyote Ugly and come in the back entrance from the alley. Very cool place. You sit down and learn three cocktails and they offer a nice charcuterie board to snack on in between cocktails. It takes about 1.5-2 hrs total and its a lot of fun to learn about the tricks, tools and techniques of the trade. We ended up making 3 cocktails: Pumpkin pie Daiquiri made with rum, and a Citrus gin collins and the original cocktail, a sazerac. The admission is $65, but considering the three drinks, charcuteri, and the lessons and service, i thought it was pretty fairly priced.

We celebrated my friends birthday here! We had a time! His wife booked a private room that was located in the very back away from the group classes. We were welcomed with a wonderful cocktail. We then made 3 cocktails and honestly, they were all very delicious. They were well balanced. Our mixologist was very knowledgeable of whisky. The Lab is located downtown so keep that in mind when it comes to parking. This would be a great outing for pretty much any occasion. We had a great time! They also have zero proof options for those who don't consume alcohol. There are plenty of areas for cute photo ops!

From the moment we walked in, the vibe at Liquor Lab was amazing. The instructors were fun, super knowledgeable, and made the whole cocktail-making experience feel exciting and easy to follow. It didn't matter if you had bartending experience or not, they made sure everyone was having a great time. The setup was clean, organized, and each station had everything we needed. We got to make three different cocktails, and not only did they taste great, but we also learned some cool tips and background stories behind each one. Between the music, the laughs, and the hands-on fun, it felt more like a party than a class. It's such a great spot for a date night, birthday, or just something different to do with friends. We'll definitely be going back. If you're in Nashville and want a unique experience, this is it!

We got a gift card to this establishment and used it for a date night with me and my boyfriend. It was difficult to find the entrance, as there was no signage for the door. Our bartender knew a lot, but he rambled about all of his experience and why we should come back almost more then he taught us about the cocktails. It was a laid-back vibe and a fun time and we ended getting an extra drink that the bartender had made. It is also a VERY basic class, that basically only taught you the ratios of drinks (2-1-1). Overall, I'd only go back if I got another gift card because it was expensive and I felt like they were trying to upsell me the whole time, but it was a fun and unique time.

We had such a fun time at our class. We came to Nashville to do the obvious of drink and listen to good music but we also wanted to try a new experience. The class was both interactive and educational. We picked a coffee based class which wouldn't be my first pick, but all of the drinks ended up being super good. It was fun to relax, make some new drinks we typically don't make at home, and drink all while doing it.

Such a fun girls night!! We had a blast and the cocktails were legit. We did summer margaritas and every one was so delicious, can't wait to make them at home. They do have a small charcuterie board for snacks, but plan to eat before or after! Also, there is a photo opp (with ring light) at the front, so don't forget to tag them! Will be back with the husband for another night when it features something he likes!

If you're thinking about booking Liquor Lab, do it!! We had an absolute blast! Such a cool experience and we can't wait to come back and try another one of the themes. Perfect event for a date, or a group of friends/family, or even solo! Fun to mingle with the other guests and the mix of instruction and chill time was perfect! The food they had was delicious and the perfect supplement to delicious cocktails. Brian was our host/instructor and was fantastic! We will absolutely be back!!

Event was great! I would give 5 stars but there is no signage outside for Liquor Lab pretty much everyone had a hard time finding it. The entrance was a little chaotic because there was another rowdy event happening with people in very interesting costumes. Our bartender Luke was great, a lot of fun history and comedy thrown into the class. We made three fancy cocktails and learned how to properly shake a sour drink. Honestly the class was a blast and they accommodate those who like cocktails as well. I'd definitely do this again.

Always a fun time at liquor lab. Was introduced to the liquor lab through a Yelp event this year and we chose to go back for a birthday celebration. We did the seasonal cocktails class and it was so much fun! Our instructor was super knowledgeable and had fun facts and jokes at the ready. For food, we had bbq, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. For the drinks, we made a orchard sidecar, autumn mule, and chai spice old fashioned. They also had a fun photo booth in the lobby that's a must do. Highly recommend for a date night or girls night!

Our knowledgebale bartender, Nick, gave all the tips and tricks to make our cocktail-making experience worth it. Enjoyed the Mardi Gras cocktail session. Great room set up to accommodate a decent sized crowd. Love the mural on the wall and how they've incorporated spirits into all of the decor. Great girls night out.

Had an awesome time and learning experience with friends. Great idea for a date night, girls night out, etc. Will definitely return for a new class. Drinks and bites were fantastic!

Bryan was amazing. The class was fun, informative, and a great way to break up our night on broadway. If we bring friends back to Nashville, a class at LL is definitely something we'll suggest!

We bundled up in coats and scarves, and walked around the empty construction site at night with our iPhone flashlights 14TENN only consisted of some raw wood, a few original beams and a wonderful owner named Sean, who had no staff hired in Nashville yet. But we knew we HAD to get married there. We could see their vision and it matched ours. BEST DECISION EVER. I mean look at this place. And their customer service.. Over the top!! I could go on for days. Just know, the insanely beautiful space is just the icing on the cake. It's the people there that make this place what it is. Which leads me to our wedding coordinator Kaitlynn Montgomery. An angel in human form. This girl, y'all. I messaged her at least once a week with another ridiculous idea. And she encouraged me on every single one of them. Anyone who knows me knows how annoyingly Type A I am and how I prefer to do things myself and plan every detail to nauseam. Kaitlynn took SO much off my plate. If I asked her about something or suggested something, she had already taken care of it 3 days prior. She was always 5 steps ahead of me at all times. She single handily took my stress level down 1,000 notches on a daily basis. Every single last detail or idea that we came up with for this wedding would absolutely have never been possible without Kaitlynn. She brought it all to life. And Ellyse.. Her and Kaitlynn worked their butts off together on our wedding day and it was perfect. Every time I saw Ellyse that day, she was smiling ear to ear and it immediately put my nerves at ease. These two girls are just the absolute sweetest and SO freaking good at their jobs. Now, one of the most important guy of the night... Our alcohol and bar concierge, Hunter!! I remember calling him one day thinking, he is going to kill me and I'm about to make him hate his job I was like, So I was thinking about cocktail hour and how it would be cool to serve hand-crafted blueberry mojitos named after our dog in 150 coconut cups with stir sticks that have our dog's face on them. Oh and I want them all displayed on shelves with signs and the whole works. He was like, hell yeah, you got it. Not only that, he insisted on pulling out all the tricks. Infusing his own simple syrup with mint and having us over TWICE to taste the recipe and make sure it was perfect. He loves his job and it shows. He took full ownership of the bar and making sure we didn't even have to think about it. THANK YOU HUNTER!!! In summary,14TENN was an absolute dream come true and we cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for EVERYTHING. We love y'all!
