This was a great, private event for our corporate summit in Nashville! I began planning the event several months ahead of time. Every step of the way Elizabeth (Communication and Guest Experience) kept me informed, assisted with meal/alcohol catering options. Elizabeth was incredibly easy to contact, very quick to respond and super kind and patient with me. I am pretty detail oriented and triple confirm and communicate everything when I plan an event out-of-town for 20 people, so the patience and kindness is a huge deal for me. The staff were very reassuring with whatever I asked of them (even if it was the third time I asked). There was a change the day before the cruise where they had to move to a different dock, but that's because they have to gauge water levels day-by-day (there are some reviews that address a change in docking plan, but if you know water, it has a mind of its own and levels change quickly). The owner informed me of the change as soon as they made a decision and found a shuttle for my group and made all the arrangements, even discounting the shuttle to an incredible fee. Just plan ahead before you book, because you may need to arrange alternate travel if the dock has to change due to recent flooding. The staff picked up all of my food and alcohol (for a small fee), and set it all up nicely on the boat before we arrived. Not only that, but they also went above and beyond and had plates, napkins, plastic wear, wine glasses, coolers and ice all provided for us. As my company's main event planner, having this done for me was SO helpful. I was immediately able to relax and have fun with the team instead of running point on the event. Brendon (our bartender/deckhand) and Andrew (owner/captain) were seriously so friendly, really joyful and go-with-the-flow! Our team had some wonderful conversations with them. They did a great job on the playlist, speakers were at great levels. They even brought several blankets and extra windbreakers aboard, because the day turned out to be a little chilly at 55 and partly sunny. My girlfriend, her disabled son, and I selected the 6:10PM Sunday boat. I selected this cruise because of the sunset opportunity and moreover, there is a bathroom. Due to the events going on in Nashville, the docking located was changed. However, there was plenty of notification via e-mail and text with the proper location and advisory of when to leave to avoid traffic. Upon arrival there was plenty of picnic tables, a water station set up, along with wooden Jenga. Clearly the alternate docking was a common occurrence. Check in was simple. We were placed based on group size. I was pleased with my placement; I was able to lean my back against the boat siding. There was one boat docked that had faux grass, I wanted that one! (Only because I like to take my shoes off, and the grass would feel better.) From the beginning, they were very accommodating. From placement/replacement and assisting us with getting our drinks and putting it in coolers full of ice. Essentially each group had their own cooler, or you shared with the party sitting with/near you. As the boat go on its way, the music was set to ease you in with your new neighbors and to take in the scenery and loosen up with some drinks (if you chose). The ride was smooth, you do not need to worry about your drink pouring over or you are popping out of your seat as if you were on a school bus in the back! Once we were about 30 minutes in, the music changed, and people were more open and willing to talk to each other. The deckhand/DJ went to each party and checked in on them and was kind. There were games played during the cruise and you could request music your type of music. Overall, I think the 2 hour point was a sweet spot of "this is getting really fun" and I've met some great people, let's keep it going... ! read more

I've been to Nashville now three times--first time on the Pontoon Saloon and I will just say--weather permitting (lol inside joke), I will do the ride every time I am back!!!! Elizabeth and Andrew were very helpful planning our group of 12, and Andrew was also our Captain the day we went!!! The price is extremely reasonable in my opinion. I like having the option to BYOB or order before hand for food and drink. The boat was bumpin' to the great music played by Jacob--the 1st mate! (I called him John the entire ride)! He had a great playlist but also took requests. I appreciated the safety rules and regulations. The pontoon was big enough for everyone to enjoy, chairs and tables if you wanted to sit. There was a port-a-potty which was also appreciated! We did have a little bit of rain come through while we will on the pontoon but again, for our safety--Andrew docked us under the bridge and we continued to enjoy the ride! I had a group of nine people yesterday (Friday 8-4-18) it was such a great experience! Jerrik (I believe that was the drivers name) and Brendon the bartender were awesome! We went to celebrate my 21st birthday and were not disappointed! The music was great, Brendon was very upbeat and got everyone singing and dancing. My boyfriend left his ID on the boat and Brendon accommodated around our schedule (the same night of the cruise) mind you, it was after 9 pm and he still had to clean the boat and get back to the dock. He was super easy to work with and very friendly. I would highly recommend doing this! They had coolers for your drinks and a great sound system! Five+ stars! read more

We recently booked the Pontoon Saloon for our annual client appreciation party, and we will definitely be repeating the event every year from now on!! Our clients had an absolute blast, and so did we! Andrew and staff were the perfect mix of professional and fun, and they made sure the event went off without a hitch. We avoided the downtown crowds and cruised along the west side of the Cumberland river, which offered beautiful views and a relaxing time for all on board! What a fun way to see a different view of Nashville. When everyone else is driving and peddling the streets of nashville floating the Cumberland is a different experience. Boat was great! Very clean! Staff was top notch! Did a great job of making sure everyone felt welcome and included! Highly recommend! Only thing that I would have liked was maybe a little history about the river and the importance to city's development. But that's just my opinion, not a knock on the experience. Took my best friend (bachelorette) and the bridal party on the Bach cruise and it was a highlight of our trip! We were mixed with other bachelorette and bachelor parties and collectively had a blast. Beers (Miller lite & coors) and seltzer's (white claw & vizzy) we're included at no extra charge along with a free coozie! We took the sunset cruise- for my birthday. Two others were celebrating birthdays also. This was a very fun evening and the scenery was beautiful. It was easy, fun, a d very relaxing. The owner was on board the entire time relaxing and socializing with all. The boat was clean and safe. It was a mix of all ages. If I ever visit Nashville again I would definitely ride the Pontoon Saloon again. (P.S. our Nashville friends did not know about this until us visitors told them) read more

This was the most lit thing!!! Right from the start they get it going with a fun introduction game and the bartender is you ambassador! The music was all slappers and they even took our hyphy requests so we could get xxxtra turnt #yee #bayarea my only complaint is they didn't play the hottest jam of 2021 WAP that song really gets the party moving and the ladies love singing the lyrics! If I could give 0 stars I would. The whole trip, except the first 20 minutes which was country music, was rap and twerking music. Multiple women twerking. Songs about Licking pussies and smacking asses. I thought I was in a pontoon saloon?!?! Offensive songs glorifying abuse to women geez! Waste of money! I highly recommend booking this. You won't be disappointed!! We were just visiting Nashville for a long wknd with friends and decided to get of the strip and do something else. Andrew(captain) and Jacob(bartender and dj) were so nice and funny. You never think you'll get lit in 2 hours on the boat, but it was such a fun atmosphere that drinks went down well!! If we ever go back to TN we will DEFINITELY book again and try the sunset one! read more

My husband and I were in Nashville for a week and the Pontoon Saloon was at the top of our list of favorite things!! The Skipper and tour guide were both very friendly and made the cruise lots of fun. We met all the people on board and the two-hour ride was fantastic with lots of beautiful scenery and views of the Nashville city skyline. Pontoon Saloon was a blast! My sisters and I met up in Nashville for a girls weekend and this was the first stop we made when we got into town. Perfect way to get off the city streets and onto the water with an entertaining MC and BYOB! Excellent music and energy throughout the entire two hours of the cruise. A big group of girl went down to Nashville for a bachelorette party. This was one of my absolutely favorite things we did. The bartender was so much fun and accommodating. There was another bachelorette party on the boat and they came up with a fun "dance off" game which was hilarious and so much fun to have all of the people on the boat intermingle. Our group had so much fun on the boat cruise! The captain and crew were awesome and made sure everyone was having a great time. The views of the city from the river made for great pics. We loved meeting other groups on the boat, we danced, had some drinks (BYOB was great) and then walked over to Broadway after. Highly recommend.
