They responded to our questions quickly and thoroughly. They also told us how to get a discount from BSU for the water bill to fill the pool. The project manager, Curtis, took pictures and gave us updates every day, while we were "up north." And he kept us informed during Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We interviewed 5 pool companies, 4 of which were about the same price point. But Hugo stood out to me not only for what he said but the ease with which we were able to get in touch with him, follow up and finally sign the contract. Recently had our pool and pool deck totally renovated by Summit. They did a neighbor of ours and we liked the results. We were specially looking to eliminate all coping around the pool (creating a more natural look) and ensure that the shell stone pavers went up to our recently installed panoramic lanai screen. This is an exacting process and Summit delivered. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive quote we received. Their communication was there from beginning to end. I would never do business with this company. If you do make sure you have your attorney on speed dial. They yet to come back and finish this project and its been months. Here are the punch list items that they will not repair. Damage to the pool deck. Damage to the spa drain pipe that they temporary patch because of the cracked pipe I lost a few thousands gals of water. Missing ladder. Hand rail is defective and in the wrong spot. They damage the landscaping in the common area of my association. They don't return emails of phone calls. I'm not the only one in my association that is totally dissatisfied with this company. read more

Summit just finished a huge Reno of our inground pool. The original was 20+ yrs old. With their help we were able to add a hot tub and sun shelf while replacing all the tile, coping and plaster. Lee county dragged their feet with the initial permit but once they had it they started immediately and didn't stop till it was done! In about 6wks they completely transformed our pool and we are thrilled with the results. Hugo (field) and Claudia (office) were amazing to work with and very responsive to questions and even changes. When we didn't like the coping color we picked when we saw it around the pool, they didn't blink. They worked with us to find another color we liked and it barely caused a blip in the schedule. Our pool was old, outdated and in need of being refinished. We also wanted to add a water feature like a waterfall or pool deck jets. But when we met with Hugo, he suggested that based on how we used our pool we might consider instead installing a sunshelf with bubblers. Best idea EVER. Summit Pools' entire work force, from the crew that chipped off the old finish to the guys who installed the plumbing for the bubblers to the crew who trowled on the new finish were neat, careful, cheerful and true professionals, as is Claudia in the office. She's a dream. Summit estimated it would take 3-5 weeks to complete work. They finished in 3 and we could not be happier. My dad always took care of my parents' pool, but he got sick and recently passed, so the pool had gone without attention for around 6 months or so. It's an older, uncovered backyard pool and not in the best shape. It was only 1/2 full due to evaporation, and was literally a murky swamp with cane toads and thousands of tadpoles and eggs, so most pool companies that I called didn't want anything to do with it. But Hugo came by and looked at it and said he and his team would get it up and running in no time. I got the estimate via email the same day and we scheduled work for the following week. Hugo and his team showed up on time and it was really amazing to watch the transformation. They drained the pool and then cleaned it with an acid wash and even patched up the returns. They worked hard (I didn't even see them take any breaks!) and by the end of the day, the pool surface was clean and white! I filled the pool with the hose, which took around 24 hrs. and then I shocked it with chlorine and the next day it was a beautiful, blue pool once again. They even sent me a certificate to send to the utility company to get $$ off of the utility bill which was a little over $200. I am grateful to Hugo, Claudia and their excellent team for helping us with the pool. It's been a rough year for my mom and I (my dad passed in February and then COVID19 hit) and having the pool all pretty and blue really helps to cheer us up. Also, lucky for us, they also have a landscape division and we had some trees that needed trimming and they came on a separate day and took care of that for a very good price.
