i'm surprised reading these reviews because we hired them just to do a weekly cleaning and maintenance on our pool. He did not communicate with us. I always had to reach out to see if he was coming to do the job. He would skip weeks. He came and did a phosphate treatment and said he would be back to do the filter clean, which is supposed to be done within a few days after the treatment. I texted him when he planned on doing it and said within the week and never showed up. that was the last communication I had with him and that was a month ago. He never reached out, apologized, took accountability, nothing. at least he was smart enough to not ask for payment at the end of this month. read more

Pool heater was not working. Nick was fast to come out (September 6, 2022). Charged $100 to clean up the inside of the system and get the flames to turn on. I checked the system 1 day later and the flames would not turn on. I texted Nick who said that the system was old and that was the reason. Nick never bothered to come back out. I found a new pool service (Humberto) who said that a sensor got loose and just needed to be pushed back. He commented that the system was old, but Italian and would probably last forever. He charged me less than Nick too. If you're in need of someone who knows about pool heaters, let me know and I'll provide Humberto's number. 1 star for work done and 1 star for curtesy. read more

Zero star available? I wish! This has been the worst experience. Nick came out and assured me he would maintain our pool. For starters, he lied about coming out to maintain the pool (camera verified). Over the three months he claimed to clean the pool, it went from crystal clear to algae EVERYWHERE. He had the audacity to blame my tenant for negligence. After doing a water test there was no chlorine in the pool and the chemicals were completely off balance. My tenant took over the cleaning himself and within 2 weeks had it crystal clear again with no prior experience. I would not recommend Paradise pools to anyone! read more

Nick came to take a look the next day, and gave a very reasonably priced quote that night for a new heater that came with a $400 rebate! I would not recommend this pool service to anyone. I reached to Nick on Friday July 8th after our pool guy stopped showing up. Our pool started to turn green and was really dirty. Nick came the next day to look at our pool and put some chemicals in. He said that he will most likely need to clean our filter and bomb our pool with chemicals. We picked Fridays for him and his team to come out and service our pool. The next weekend we were going out of town so I texted Nick to ask him what time he was coming Friday (we wanted to make sure our dog was inside) and he said they will come between 8-12pm. We came home on the Sunday and our pool looked worse than ever. I texted Nick and he said his tech came on the Friday but I checked the security camera and no one ever came. Nick said he checked with his tech and said he came but there is no way he came. Nick said he would come out Tuesday morning to take a look but then said on Tuesday it would be Wednesday instead. Nick asked me if we would be home all day on Wednesday ( which I said yes) and he never came. He said he would credit us the week prior (even though they never came) and said they would come on Friday. Today is Friday and the tech finally came at 6:30pm, after sending a text to Nick saying I was going to go with another service if they didn't come on Saturday. Nick sent me a text saying to go with another service. Even the tech said that my house wasn't on his normal route so I'm wondering if I was ever on their route Its so frustrating because my kids wants to swim during the summer but they can't because our bad luck with pool guys. I can always count on Nick when I need a pool service. He has depth knowledge on old and new pool systems. This past Summer, he drained and power washed the pool and my family has been enjoying the clean pool water ever since. This time, I called Nick to help with setting up the timer and routine cleaning. He immediately responded to my call and scheduled the work for Sunday morning. We learned this morning there was an issue that the filter system won't shut down once it started unless we turn it off from the breaker. He diagnosed the issue and changed the wiring inside the panel. I was concerned that it would cost me a lot if I have to replace the timer or the panel.
