I have been a customer for 2 1/2 years and I have utilized the companies service since purchasing my home . I have not had any issues with service and professional services. my pool has been kept up and I'm always satisfied with results. My Husband and I live on the East Coast (for now), with having a house on the West Coast that is left pretty much to its own demise, you can imagine what kind of problems can arise. We have been through 4 different pool cleaning/maintenance companies in the last 3 years. PoolGenX has saved our lives!!! The pool is serviced on the day they say, we are sent pictures of the condition of the pool with every cleaning and notified if there are any problems. They even installed a new sweeper, that actually works! I say this because, every other cleaning company we have had, has charged us for a sweeper that didn't work! This one is fantastic; I love watching it scoot around the bottom and walls of the pool. The gentleman that cleans our pool Tony, is amazing. If I am in town, he takes the time to explain what he is doing, and why. He even showed me a trick for when the pool needs an extra skimming due to high winds! We've been with PoolGenX for service of our in-ground pool/spa since 2019. The service started out strong, got a little rushed/hap-hazard for a spell (we almost considered dropping them) and then we got DIEGO.... we love him! He takes great care of the pool, sends photos before/after his visit, he's always careful to close the gate (we have dogs so that's important) and always leaves the pool looking great! The team and management at PoolGenX are amazing. Great people. Very knowledgeable. Easy to work with. My initial "Pool Guy" after my pool was completed, was terrible. He said he did things when he obviously didn't. He said he would show up and wouldn't. I have cameras all around my house and could clearly see if he had or hadn't shown up, and if he did, if he did anything at all. This caused me to have major trust issues. When Frank, from PoolGenX came by, he quickly removed these concerns. He found several things that were done incorrectly, and fixed them for me at no charge. The initial start up tech was great. He was very knowledgeable and answer every question I asked. But the service has been getting worse with the route tech. This company sells their techs by saying they are all CPO certified. We'll that might be true, their workmanship doesn't show it. My pool and spa were serviced THREE days ago and it already has algae. It hasn't been used. The tech was in and out in about 15 minutes. I have a chlorine system. About 4 months ago I saw him pouring salt in it. I stopped him and he insisted my system was a salt. read more

We are really happy with the quality of services we have had with this company for over a year. I appreciate the consistency of services and the responsiveness of every person we've had to communicate with from the pool technician to the supervisor/manager and the office staff. If our pool tech is not able to come for some reason, the office let's us know right away and sends someone else when possible. Their customer service has been great too. Our first pool tech left the company and the new tech assigned to us was not doing a very good job. I had several conversations with the person in the office and she was very professional and kept me updated on the steps that were being taken. We were told the management team was making efforts to address the issues but the tech did not improve. I contacted one of the managers directly (Frank) and he was extremely helpful. He took over our weekly service until one of their trainees was ready to work on his own. Frank was quick to respond, was true to his word in terms of follow up and follow through, and did a great job while he was servicing our pool. Ricardo is our current pool technician. He is great about texting back quickly if I have a question or need further support with my pool. He was proactive in having someone else from their company come out to look at our pool equipment when he noticed a small leak and it was easily fixed the next day. Our pool has looked great and I appreciate the extra time he is spending on it during windy season. Overall, we have been very satisfied with all the experiences we've had with PoolgenX. read more

This is the 3rd pool company I have been with, unfortunately I had for a few months and had to let them go. My pool cleaner was very polite and did a good job but I started to see mustard algae growing, he stated maybe we need to change out water. That was a strange response as I never had these problems when I cleaned it myself, I just didnt want to clean it myself anymore which is why I decided to hire these guys. Needless to say on the 2nd week of seeing algae, I decided to test the water for chlorine, I was shocked! Normally Chlorine should be at least 3PPM, when I did the test the chlorine level was at .04PPM!!!!!!!!!!! Unacceptable! read more
