After we caught it, they offered three free months of service to make up for it. Then in September, more unexplained billing changes occurred. At that point, we decided to cancel because we no longer trusted the accuracy of their charges. Magic Unicorn told us they would issue a refund -- but they never did. Since then, they've stopped responding to emails and won't answer the phone. Easily the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. Completely unprofessional and dishonest.

We were preparing to embark on a short 4-day trip but it would be the first time we had ever left our dogs behind and I was very nervous about finding a sitter/company that was a good fit for us. From day 1, VIP impressed me with their level of communication and organization. Their online client portal is easy to navigate and great for checking your schedule, pets info, etc. Nancy, their Director of Client Relations, is incredibly detail oriented, great at follow up, and actually does what she says she will do (a rarity in this day and age!). Our assigned sitter, Amber, took amazingly good care of our pups. Her communication was stellar and I felt the entire time that it wasn't "just a sitter" there watching our pups, it felt like a family member was taking care of them.
