I had been going to PetSmart for about a year for my Cavapoos grooming. I decided to switch it up…read moreand try Petco. The cost seemed to be about the same. We walked in and I noticed a lot of dry pee spots throughout the store an a LOT of barking as we neared the Groomers. I was starting to be a little hesitant to drop him off but after waiting in line a good 8 minutes or so, we both calmed down a bit. I made an appointment online for the brush n bath and knew the price was going to be about $80. I told the gentleman at the front that my pup also needed his nails cut bad and he upsold me on the Essentials plus. (They really do try and upsell here and will try to get you to do the membership package and bill you every month.) My total grooming was $93 but let me tell you it was THE BEST GROOM my pup has ever had!! His fur is so soft (even after a week) Bailey did the best job. I don't want my pup to loose his curls so I just like him to be air dried. I've requested this before at Petsmart an he was given back to me damp with no real type of cut what so ever! Upon arrival, the kindness continued and he was very helpful and knowledgeable on the proper length for Kolby's mane. I really appreciated this because he cut Kolby exactly how we I wanted (we do not do the traditional cut on him). I was initially worried about my fur baby because he gets extremely anxious, but, I felt comfortable once we were able to discuss things. The appointment took the standard amount of time, so no complaints there. The checkout process was smooth as well. Overall, Kolby looked like a new furman!
