That is simply not true. It is a fee they chose to pass on. Be honest about it. Customers can handle the truth. We do not appreciate being misled. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. If you are going to charge premium prices, at least treat people like they matter. The first place I called asked if I could leave the tire and pick it up later that day. That didn't work for me. I called the next place, Big Johnson Tires, and was informed they could fix it right away. I popped over and met Mark. He was busy for a few minutes before he could help me but it wasn't a big deal. He set to work on my tire. The tire was off the rim in no time and the issue was blatantly obvious, a large piece of metal had pierced the tire. Mark removed the piece and quickly went through the steps to prep the hole, applied the patch and reinstalled the tire to the rim. All in all, I was at the shop for about 20 minutes. Mark changed me $30 for the repair and I was thrilled. I recommend Big Johnson Tires for tire repairs and any tire related needs. Good people with lots of experience and great service.
