He carefully listened to our needs and shared his ideas on how to best fulfill them, which we appreciated. He and his crew were thorough, competent, experienced and a pleasure to work with! The crew did an amazing job trimming several massive branches that were hanging dangerously close to our roofline. They worked with incredible precision in a very tight space between our house and the neighbor's fence, managing to lower every piece safely without a scratch to either property. They were able to flawlessly remove several branches, which were extremely high, in our backyard tree. Their communication was excellent and Erick walked the yard with us before they started to confirm exactly what we wanted and we were given updates as they worked. They were incredibly efficient and finished the entire job with complete cleanup much faster than we expected, with a very reasonable price. Our yard and pool areas were beautiful! We would highly recommend them for any professional tree and trimming work necessary! Thank you Erick and All Island Tree Service for making this experience so positive! In July I hired W&L Landscaping, Wilfredo and Lauren Mendez are the owners, to remove a tree and…read morestump. In the end, they did remove the tree, stump and debris as stated in the estimate. We said not to touch our neighbor's tree because it provided shade in our backyard. Because they rushed the job, they were careless. They cut some of the branches of my neighbor's tree making it look asymmetrical now. They are two different trees so you can't mistake one for the other. They broke a trellis, a water feature and cracked several slate slabs because they carelessly dropped chunks of the tree trunk instead of lowering them carefully. The workers were thoughtlessly stepping on plants, putting tools on top of plants. I had to mention the damage to Lauren the owner. Her business partner Wilfredo said nothing to me that damage was done as if it was acceptable to break things in the process. I was beginning to be sorry I hired them at this point because they still had to remove the stump. They were scheduled to come the next day. My wife was waiting in the 90-degree heat outside to save a parking space for their truck and equipment when they arrived. They didn't show. I received no call or text. I called and they cancelled because they were running late with another job. They came the next day to finish the stump and bring the replacement items that they damaged which was a clay pot which was part of the water feature and the slate that was damaged. I was at work and my wife in good faith paid them in full because they said they replaced the slate tiles. When I came home from work, I saw that they brought the wrong tiles and the wrong size and just took tiles from where the tree was removed and replaced the broken ones with them and still there were broken tiles. Nothing was replaced. I decided to let the trellis and water feature go because they weren't serious about fixing this and I wanted these people out of my life. I noticed a couple of days later on my neighbor's tree that there was a tree limb dangerously hanging by a thread and was about to fall. I brought it to W&L's attention being that they caused it. W&L said it was pre-existing damage which was baloney because the break in the tree limb was fresh looking. The limb fell a few days later. If you look on their website, there are two phone numbers, only one works, and it is Lauren's direct cell phone number. There is no official business number. I was going to let this whole thing go, but I don't want other people to go through this. I understand it was a very hot week, and it is very hard work, but it's the owners that are solely responsible for overseeing the work that is being done. Also, it shouldn't take a week and multiple calls to get a simple paid in full receipt. Totally unprofessional! Phil and Chris Buck

His crew was already in the neighborhood and showed up just a few hours later. Everything was done professionally with great care around the house, power lines, and landscaping. They clearly know what they're doing and worked efficiently -- the whole job only took a couple of hours. The price was very fair for the amount of work and the risks involved. Our project was a five figure project. Allstate provided a competitive bid and worked with us to ensure that we were happy. They worked for hours over two days on our property, brought a significant number of men to work and they worked very hard climbing and pruning trees that were over five-six stories high. They came with a wood chipper and carted away the wood without significant mess. One of the significant things I noticed is that they actually knew their trees and identified the trees by name in their proposal. They were so good that I got calls and emails from concerned individuals about men in the trees with chainsaws outside their windows. I accidentally can now check being able to tell someone "I sent that man with the chainsaw outside your window" off of my bucket list. They gave a date on which they could come and came on that day ready to work. People have complimented their work.
