Unprofessional company, no regards for other peoples property,. They parked their wood shredder directly across the road from our vehicles and blow saw dust all over our vehicles for hours. Extremely poor, dishonest company where the working crew overrides owner. My home was hit with tree during Isaias, I called and spoke to Carlos and he brought his crew and was able to get 2 trees out of the property however issue arose when I got quote to remove 3rd tree in the back while they were there at the property. They were price gouging (3 times the regular amount) and I negotiated with Carlos on the phone and was still willing to pay but his crew wanted more money and they left without cutting. Within an hour that 3rd tree fell on my property. Then they had the guts to come back same day and tried to sway away the other company that I was working with. Tree Service came out and gave us an estimate for the removal of a triple lead oak and a smaller oak tree a few feet away from our home + stump grinding AND the grinding of a huge oak stump that the previous owners left in our yard (why,I don't know. Their quote was so reasonable that there was no need to think about it. We booked them right away and within a few days, the trees and stumps were gone! Watched these guys guys cutting down trees across the street form me today at 2 of my neighbors property. As far as the work goes these guys were outstanding. Did a great job and top speed -- very organized well oiled machine of of a Crew. Absolutely amazing at the amount of work these guys cranked out in less than a day -- I have no idea what they charged for the work and as I already stated they did a great job -- Except -- Except for the way they cleaned up -- They did a great job cleaning up their Debris from the homes across the street from me but when it came time to clean up the debris, saw dust, bark and leaves from my side of the street deposited from their work they did a sloppy job -- instead of taking out a large Broom and shovel they simply used a snow shovel to put some on the debris into a big green pail and the rest of it was blown all over the place with their back pac blower -- all over mine and my next door neighbors lawn -- that irresponsible action spoiled the entire feel for the company and their staff -- Would have been a 5 star review had they shown some sense of responsibility or concern for others property read more

I got a quote on Friday from Carlos and let him know I needed the work done asap. He and his crew were there first thing Saturday morning to remove a large oak, prune other large oaks and remove a bunch of other trees at my home in Smithtown. They showed up and worked like a well oiled machine. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing. It was really cool to watch them do it. They were courteous and very eager to please. In April of 2018 I used C.R Tree Services to remove two large trees in my backyard. We were pleased with their service even though they got one of their machines stuck in the fence and caused a hole. Accidents happen and they did take money off the price to make up for it. I have referred them to friends, because other than that incident I was pleased with their service. This year we decided to install a new fence. One of the trees started to grow back and the fence company was having a hard time getting passed the tree roots on the property line. We called this company to help with the problem. I spoke with Carlos who was the original contact in 2018 and he said he would come out. My husband also spoke to him and he promised he would come and after we waited for him all day he was a no show. It is now over 2 weeks later he has not returned phone calls and has never showed up. Saw CR Tree service taking down a huge sycamore tree in one of my neighbor's backyard last Saturday,so I asked to speak to the owner about taking down a large oak tree for me. I was told by one of the workers to call Carlos, the owner, which I did. Carlos came by later in the day and gave me an appraisal and we agreed to have the work done on Monday. Monday morning came and Carlos had a crew of four to take down my oak tree in the front of the house and some huge branches from my sycamore in the backyard. These guys were amazing to watch as they systematically took everything down without damaging any power lines or other property. They worked like they have been doing this together for some time. Took them about three hours to complete the job, which included grinding down the stump, and a thorough cleanup and removal of all debris. CR has their own trucks for debris removal.
