A pre-opened Macaron Labubu blind box that came as a case, purchased online for in-store pick up.
    S E.

I bought six Labubu Macaron blind boxes. When I picked them up from the store, they came in a single pre-wrapped package like a new case of six. When I got home and opened my first individual box, it was clear that the box had been pre-opened. So not only was my case of Labubus not a case, they had been already opened at the bottom. Obviously I did not get a Secret (which is fine) - but I have no idea if what I bought is real or not. There is literally a fake Labubu stand outside this store. Now I have to wait until each gift recipient opens them to scan and check to see if what I bought was actually real. This store has no contact info and Pop Mart corporate is unable to help with local stores. Long story short. Good merchandise, but they do sell pre-opened and resealed blind boxes so be sure to video your unboxing (open from the bottom with a knife to see if you have a tampered box) and use the scan code on each one to confirm they are real.

Anyone who knows me knows that I already have toooo many Labubu's! As I walked by the store the sales associate said " yes! We have them in stock!" I logged onto the app, placed my order, and within 5 minutes my order was ready. Imagine my surprise when I arrived home and opened the "SECRET". I definitely recommend this location the staff was very kind and helpful. The store was well stocked. Check the app regularly!

edit: this location is inside the Westfield Culver City mall so park in their lot near Macy's! *** Came here to pick up some Labubus which went surprisingly well! They had us wait a few minutes before going into the store but there wasn't anyone else in line--they just wanted to limit the number of people inside since the store itself is pretty small. Overall wasn't too bad for a Sunday. Picking up my order was done pretty easily and quickly. The line was moving quickly too and overall service seemed really good. Selection was also good--of course high demand items like Labubus are harder to secure unless reserved online first but they seem to stock a good variety of popmart items. Value is good getting it here compared to buying from resellers and at least you will know for sure it's authentic!

This shop is located on the 2nd floor of The Block plaza. Coming from Sawtelle, you into a hallway and up a set of stairs. You are immediately greeted with everything TCG related. There are sealed products along the wall, show cases with graded cards and fan made merch?, folders with loose singles. Then along side of the area near the window you'll see table set up for gaming. There is a lot to check out, I can't say the prices are retail but more likely at competitive market rates. The craziest part is, that is not all. Walking towards the opposite side of the shop are sports cards. The area is not equally as large as the TCG side but there was for sure a lot to look at. My niece was looking for Pokemon Full Arts and she was able to find a double handful just by browsing the binders. Parking: private structure, street VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

I looked up the Yelp page and to my surprise it was a TCG shop. Highly recommend stopping by to look around. Of course we had to take a yonder. They have a ton of PSA graded and bulk cards for cheap. Love that they have bulk cards laying around for you to look through, some are in binders some are in small boxes. Also have a ton of seating for their community events, including trade nights and tournaments. Kept clean, tons of trashcans at the end of each table. We visited on a Saturday that was pretty warm, high 80s with high foot traffic and it stayed well ventilated and cool with AC.

I'm surprised that there aren't any reviews on this place even though it has been here for year,…read moreand i'm just as surprised as to how it stays in business. j-style is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace between Tendon Hannosuke and the Shiseido booth/counter. They sell Japanese trinkets, gadgets and plush toys as well as auto accessories like long giant rear-view mirrors, covers for the steering wheel, car fresheners, etc. It's a good place to poke around while waiting for your Santouka ramen or something, especially around lunch time on a weekend. On this particular day, I wandered in with a specific purchase in mind. My +1 likes to Waze while driving but it's dangerous to keep picking up the phone to look at directions or look at notifications from nearby Wazers. My goal was to buy a mobile phone car mount for a hands-free driving experience for the sake of everyone's safety. I was poking around and the lady was quick to ask if I needed help. She explained the different types of mounts (air vent, windshield, dash) and that those on the windshield need to be installed carefully in accordance to the law, or something about being particular as to where you can legally stick a mount on the windshield. She opened several different packages for me to inspect and compare. After a bout of unnecessary indecisiveness and much waffling in my head, I finally purchased a mount that sticks on the dashboard. The configuration of the air vents for this particular car doesn't quite allow for easy glance if the phone were to be there, but air vent mounts would have been my first choice, if it was for my car. I paid cash and walked out of there before claiming my lunch tray from Misasa. The mount was $30, which was a lot more than I'd expect or would have wanted to pay but it would have been inconvenient for me to find another place that had the variety that I could touch and feel, and purchase right away. (For my own car, I got a $15 one from Amazon). Results - it didn't stick so well at first but my +1 finally found a spot that was agreeable to the car. Overall, a pleasant experience at j-style. It's good to be able to touch and feel products before buying and this store provides products that you might not be able to find in other English-only stores.

I'm a private Pokémon card collector that has never ventured into the world of buy/sell/trade, so I decided I'd call a few shops in the area to see what they'd recommend, and this is exactly how this conversation went. Guy answers phone, i asked him if he had a minute to answer a couple questions i had. "i mean i have a few people I'm helping right now but yeah sure" I proceed to explain that i was looking for guidance or advice on how to offload my extensive Pokémon card collection as I'm moving out of the area, and i was wondering if they had a buyer or something of the sort that would sit down with me and run through it to see what they're willing to buy, etc. He responds, "oookay. Are you planning on paying someone for that?" Confused, i asked what he meant? "Basically what I'm getting at is no, we don't do that. I have a guy here that's really knowledgeable about that kinda stuff but i wouldn't wanna waste his time" I thanked him for his "candid" (read: completely rude) response and that i would look elsewhere. Needless to say I'll never step foot here again.
