This was an experience. The shop was small, but full of items on display though nothing really was in stock. They said we could order it and have it delivered to the shop or to our house. The prices were a bit steep, but I guess right for fad items such as the ones in the store. It was overall clean in there.

Busy store. Order online and pick up in person. Usually a wait for weekends so good luck and make sure to check online first!

If I mention liking something I see online to my husband all of a sudden I have 10 of that thing. That is currently the case for Labubus. I freaking love Labubus and I already have a couple including the pink one I wanted the most but he's on a quest to find me the special Duoduo brown one...That means hunting around nearby Popmarts and this particular store was obviously sold out. They're ALL sold out. Other than that this store was very clean and tidy, TONS of collectibles and items and charms, I'd say it's worth a visit but if you want a Labubu you have better luck on La-eBay. Ciao!

Fun place to come for toys and possibly collectibles. Some of the toys you buy as part of a set in which you dont know what you are going to get until you open the box and see what is inside, kinda gives you surprise vibe. The concept is like the Japanese capsule that instead of being inside of a capsule, they are boxed. Similar to what Teso Life does with their collectibles. Maybe its not for me because I am past that age, but it could be amazing for teens and kiddos...

Gonna give the red caboose a five star regardless of my experience…read more Ok. So I actually popped in a little while back just to get the lay of the land. Blah, blah blah I could reiterate what everyone else has said. Good and bad. But it's necessary that we preserve as many places that still cater to specialty interests and hobbies. It's more museum with the option to sell moreover than a hobby shop at this point. The two times I've been in there the individual running the shop was speaking with customers and was very knowledgeable. Yet a bit brusque. Be respectful. And understanding. However... I, on my latest visit was prepared to make a purchase. You see I was home because work was slow. I was perusing Amazon etc looking for a project to keep me occupied while I have some downtime. By the way it's January and just got really, really cold. I want to support as many brick and mortar businesses as possible. So I button up and make the trip downtown. So I get there and peruse the inventory. After a while I find something that will keep me busy for a few weeks. Here's the rub. I get to the counter and the owner( I assume) starts looking up the price. It's got a price on the side of the box but he claims it's the wrong price. I stand there patiently whilst he looks it up on his iPad. And wait. Now he's tagging on 20 bucks to the existing price on the box. The prices on most of these items are pretty high I noticed. All good. But don't try to squeeze me at the register and tell me someone put the wrong price on the box. If you'd have honored the price right or wrong I'd be sitting here working on the model. Instead I'm writing this review.

Extremely unwelcoming and rude staff -- worst first impression I've had at a TCG store…read more I walked in 15 minutes after opening, politely greeted the employee, and asked about hanging out in store prior to the event schedule, only to be snapped at with "no thats what no free play means" and then talked down to in a serious, condescending tone over "no free play," despite me never asking to play. The event wasn't for another two hours, and I was clearly just checking out the store for the first time. Zero customer service, zero friendliness, and absolutely no reason to ever spend money here -- good luck to them.

Not for board games. Not for me…read more I'm still giving four stars because I imagine if I was really into magic the gathering (MTG), Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh or other trading card games, I would love this place. They have an excellent collection of trading cards. They also host tournaments. It's a cozy store, small but with a nice seating area. I stopped by briefly looking for board games. True tabletop games, not ones that you can find at a big box store. Not monopoly and scrabble. Not even settlers of catan. Looking for something like Wingspan. Everdell. Ark Nova. Some tabletop game hobby shops have a nice wall of games like these. This place has a shelf. A single shelf. Games are facing forward so you can fit fewer games. Maybe 10 games. Pandemic, Machi Koro, Small World, Gloomhaven. So this is not the place. Going to have to look further.
