I bought a pair of sunglasses almost a year ago. Although I barely used it, one of the glasses was dropped without any impact literally while I had them on the head. I thought it could be a manufacturer defect since I haven't had any issues with any of my other sunglasses for ages. When contacted the company if I could fix it. They didn't surprise or question the issue. Not even interested in fixing or searching. Instead, I was offered a 10% discount for a new one. Note to other store: Never judge a customer on the shoes they're wearing or the bag they're carrying. Amazing visit as always! This is my 2nd visit & 2nd purchase from this store. I had a wonderful shopping experience here at this location. I came to this specific location through the recommendation of a friend and was just planning to browse around. I was greeted by multiple sales associates upon entry and was shown several beautiful pieces by Celia. I told Celia a bit about what I was looking for and she showed me several options. Beautiful store in Rockefeller Plaza. When we went in there was a woman holding the exact shoe that I wanted to try on, so we tried them on together. They were flying off the shelves and thankfully fit large because my usual size was already sold out of this new arrival. I came here in August to pick up a little gift for my sister who was throwing my baby shower. I am not a fan of shopping near Rockefeller because of the tourists and crowd but it was actually a quick and decent visit. I had actually intended to just go to the Tiffany's but when I realized kate spade was right there, I had to check it out. We stopped in on a Friday morning and I browsed and poured over all the items to find the right thing to supplement my gift. The folks were actually extremely helpful. There was one woman who was a little overeager but I still appreciated her wanting to be attentive and see what she could suggest to me. I eventually picked a little wallet and headed to the buy it. The person helping ring me up asked me what the occasion was and I was being a weirdo about my response for some reason but he explained why he asked which was that they have little gifts depending on the occasion which I thought was cute. I also threw in a little jewelry dish last minute and he was happy to wrap it all up for me and even added a little extra tissue paper. I had a really good experience here and felt happy when I left. Not only did I leave with something great to complement my gift but I also had a pleasant time in the store and enjoyed the small talk with the employees. I'm a huge fan of everything Kate Spade so this store was a must-see for me. While I'm not usually big on souveniers, I figured this would be the best place for me to find something to remind me of my trip. Lucky for me, they have a whole table of NYC exclusive items. Since this location is right beside the Rockefeller skating rink they have a number of items with glittery skate graphics. They also have some yellow taxi cab goods (the flats are adorable!) I ended up picking up a New York themed umbrella for myself. It's a nice reminder of my trip without being tacky. The store itself feels bright and airy, even on a cold rainy day. All of the products are artfully displayed and easily shoppable. The service here is excellent. One of the employees spent a great deal of time demonstrating a new line of interchangeable purses. This is definitely a store that goes above and beyond. read more

I'm not a big Kate Spade fan but I was looking for a computer bag. I have a serious mega computer which is really not typical especially for a girl. I checked online and it seems that Kate spade is the only designer that makes a decent looking computer bag. The bag I purchased is water resistant and is able to convert from a regular shoulder style bag to a back pack. Pretty cool. I did find what I needed...well actually it was still a bit small but I accepted that I wasn't going exactly what I needed so it does stick out a tiny bit. Aside from this purchase I didn't really like anything else I the store. The sales lady was nice but I could see she was very new. We all start somewhere I guess but it's a little annoying. Overall I still don't like Kate spade fashion but to each their own! read more

I am EXTREMELY, disgustingly disappointed in Kate Spade. I have ordered $400 dollars of Kate Spade purses and wallets within the last month, one of the shipments priced at 136 dollars. The first package was supposedly unable to be delivered and "returned to sender." Upon calling I was told, a reshipment would be done at $0 charge and an email would be provided to notify me of confirmation. I did not receive an email and called back two days later. I was told the weekend did not count and to call again on Wednesday. When calling on Wednesday, I was told the order was processed and an expedited one day shipping would be placed. I did not receive the package that Friday and allowed the weekend to pass to wait for the package. Upon calling Tuesday, I was told Nothing could be done, to change my delivery address on further purchases. When asking if this meant I lost 136 dollars, I was told yes. They showed no compassion, and I was told this was the supervisor's decision. When asking if there was anyone else I could speak to or email, I was simply told no. Although I understand the lack of shipment falls into the hands of UPS or USPS, I am ashamed that Kate Spade handled this in such a manner and I will no longer be a customer with Kate Spade. WARNING TO ALL THOSE WHO ORDER THROUGH KATE SPADE: USPS lost my package, and Kate Spade does nothing about it! read more

I came here to look for a engagement gift for a friend of mine not too long ago. I planned to go to the one on the UES, but was a little to lazy to travel all the way up there from midtown. I was looking for a specific product; a pair of stemless wine/champagne glasses that said 'his and hers' on it. I called the location, and they had me on hold for sometime, but the lady I was speaking to was more than willing to help and hold the product for me till I picked it up later that evening. I forgot her name unfortunately. When I got there, I told them I had a product waiting for me, and the lady who was at the cashier(different lady than the one I spoke on the phone with), was more than happy to follow up and wrap the gift up so nicely. I really like Kate Spade and what the brand provides. The stores offer accessories, planners, glass wear, purses, and even apparel, which I found very interesting. I would say this is definitely a great store to find celebratory gifts for special occasions such as my friend's engagement. I did very much appreciate the service from the lady on the phone who held the item for me and the lady who helped me at the cash register. I wish I remembered their names. All-in-all, I highly recommend this place and will definitely return the next time I need to shop for a special gift or just when I shop for myself even. :) read more
